Very comfortable and supportive

It is a good size although could’ve been half a size bigger but this neither feel tight nor small! I have Achilles tendinitis I am very picky with snickers this wasn’t the dr’s order but extremely comfortable so far ??

These are great shoes! The only issue I had was, one of the shoes did not have an insert in it, so I used the one from my old shoe.

I am very very disappointed. I tried home for a day feels ok - but soon after a start to use it’s feels very tidy and unfortunately in my right feet.

I have worn Brooke shoes for several years and they are perfect for me. I have a medium width foot and use my sneakers for 'exercise walks' (2-4 miles 5x/week). When I received the new pair and put them on, they were IMMEDIATELY comfortable and required NO break in period.

I would have given this a five star rating if it weren't for the tall back area, which is tall enough to dig into the back of my ankle. I included a photo to show the huge blister I got after the first use with this shoe. I got one of the back of both ankles. I love Brooks and have purchased many pairs over the years, but this is my first Glycerin. I wish the back was the same height as the Ghost or the Adrenaline, which are lower in the back and never gave me blisters. This was after four miles of powerwalking and I could feel the blisters around mile three. The cushion of the footbed is wonderful and I love the color. As usual, you have to order a half size larger with Brooks, but luckily I knew that. It would be way too small in my regular size. Hopefully the back of the shoe will break in quickly because I want to wear these!

good support . wide toe box

I use to run in the ghost. After many miles of running & recently experiencing overuse aches and pains, I decided to transition to the glycerin for a more cushioned run. This shoe has definitely allowed me to continue to run comfortably.

I LOVE Brooks Glycerin sneakers. I have purchased the "next generation" for over six years now. My feet are very, very happy with the Glycerin. Support, cushion but not over the top. I walk about 15-20 miles/week in them.

love the ones I ordered but need 1/2 size larger can’t wait until they come to wear them. Need extra length as stated in previous reviews. should have listened ?

The size for me was perfect. The toe box was a bit wider than my Glycerin 17 shoes but I need this now for an old spreading foot. The support felt fine and I wore them out furniture shopping with no problem. Also...the shoelaces were shorter than some and I don't have to double tie.

While there is less arch support than the Glycerin 17, the cushioning is even better than ever. I particularly like the forefoot cushioning. I wear these walking my dogs 30+ miles a week and love how comfortable and supportive they are right from the start.

I have worn Brooks walking shoes for years. They have been of the highest quality and best fit of any on the market. These were a shock. The construction was inferior - were they seconds? The measurement from the top of the rubber to the first hole in the upper was off by a half inch between shoes. The sole of the right shoe in the heel was visibly off center to the left. I had read reviews of similar poor construction for this style but had to believe it was an anomaly. It wasn't. I will avoid Brooks shoes until they get their quality control figured out. I would suggest you do the same.

Oh my goodness! I tried them on and haven’t taken them off. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Full disclosure, I’m not a runner but feel they would be supportive for my my workouts. I originally ordered the Brooks Ghost 13 but they lacked the cushion. If you are in doubt about which Brooks shoe to order, they actually have a chart that compares the different styles which is very helpful. This is my first Brooks purchase, but it won’t be my last. I usually wear a 4.5-5 and the 5 fit great. HIGHLY recommend!

I was having some IT band issues with my prior Brooks (Launch) so went to something cushier. Took a few runs to get used to but I’m happy to report I no longer have the knee issue.

I have 2 pairs of this shorts and love them But this shoe isn’t the same size at all. Strange. Thank goodness for Zappos!! No problems returning!!

This shoe has changed from the glycerin 18. It felt too tight after wearing awhile.

I always wear wide, in brooks, but the Glycerin 19 my toes were right on the edge. Cut to narrow.

I’ve been wearing Glycerins for years. I’m not a runner, but I log serious walking miles in my sneakers. The 19s ran small and narrow on me. I had to go a half size up to get the fit I’m used to in these shoes. But they’re holding up well to a ton of outdoor miles.

The shoe was very comfortable and fit true to size. My reason for returning it was the thin mesh material on top. I felt like my big toe would come crashing through early in the life of the shoe, so I exchanged them for something with a non-mesh top.

Really cute and super comfortable! Unfortunately, I got a blister on the back of one of my heels the first time trying them outside. I suspect this has more to do with my feet than the shoes. I am bummed as I have large feet and it is hard for me to find good (and cute) shoes in women’s sizes.
