I love this shoe! I have historically purchased the Caldera, but the last pair of Caldera's I bought rubbed the back of my foot terribly. The Catamount is comfortable and flexible. Worth the price since I wear them every day.

Love the look of the shoe, the comfort/fit of the shoe and that the shoe is "bouncy" and gives a nice spring to my step or jog. I'm also using for my full body workouts at the gym and burpees are a little easier in these than my traditional tennis shoes. Very happy with my purchase!

Allow my to start with the fact that I love these shoes. They are a great crossover shoe, and perform well on the trail as well as the street. There is a fun amount of spring and energy with every stride that encourages me to keep going and run faster! The lugs on the sole have excellent grip and provide helpful stickiness even on slick rock trails. My only initial qualm was that the upper felt a little stiff, but after three or four runs I found the upper to perfectly comfortable. In addition to loving the shoes, I was absolutely blown away by the level of customer service I received. I have always loved Brooks shoes, and I readily share my affinity for the different models I?ve tried with friends. But I have to say, the care and consideration I was shown from a customer service standpoint is remarkable. It is clear and apparent that Brooks values their customers and strive to leave them happy and satisfied. Not only will I continue wearing Brooks shoes (because hello, they are great running shoes), but I will sing the company?s praises from the rooftops because the public deserves to know!

Went on a mountainous adventure with these beauties and after 4 miles of snow, slush, standing water and stream crossing I was amazed that after wringing out my socks there was NO squishing or sloshing or even feeling of my feet still being wet. These shoes have magical powers.

I have been running in Pureflow for years and years, but wanted to find something more winter friendly for Vermont weather. I had tried the PureGrit and the Calderas, but didn't like either. The Catamounts are great! Lightweight, minimal feeling, and comfortable. If you're going for cushion, go for the Caldera. If you're going for a Pureflow feeling in a trail shoe (that is not Puregrit) try the Catamount! Thank you, Brooks! I ordered a size 8, just like my other Brooks sneakers.

Great fit, no hot spots inside, good heel cup. Excellent trail shoe for the neutral runner (I use Levitate for street running).

Love this shoe but why a white trail shoe? My first run out and they came back disgusting. I also wish that they had a bit more arch support. I had to use super feet in them to make up the difference. Overall I love the shoe and love the lightweightedness.

Lightweight and super comfortable. My two favorite things about the shoe is the color - white and the grip. White, so I get them super dirty with no shame! And the grip on the sole really provides the traction I need to get after it on the trails! So far Ive been very pleased. For sizing I went a half size up, which is typically what I do for my running shoes.

I love these shoes! They are light and nimble without giving up any of the standard features of a trail shoe. I have a wide foot and usually wear a wide width shoe, but the reviews said that these run a bit wide so I gave them a shot and they fit just fine. My only question - why a white trail shoe?

Wonderful trail shoe. Really responsive with good ground feel even on wet, technical terrain. Feels better than most trail shoes on the roads, which is nice when running to trailheads. Really the only downside is the color...why white? But aside from aesthetics it?s a winner.

They were great on trails, but my arches and ankles are a bit sore after wearing them, compared to my Ghost 14s.

I love these shoes very comfortable and true to size. The front part of the shoe doesn't have quite the padding I thought it would so I bought some Dr. Scholl's air pillow inserts to go under the Brooks insert. This helped quite a bit.

Would give it a 5 except for the shoelaces. Should have been the dark blue-green.

I wish it had come in a wider size, but it is still comfortable. I am a true size 10, but when wearing these for a two hour hike, I got blisters on my feet :( . Overall however, I do believe these are better than my hokas. The cushion when hiking was delightful.

A great, light shoe, very comfortable hiking or trail running. I've always liked Brooks shoes, but some of the other styles (Cascadia, Caldera) have been just a little too short for my foot the last few seasons. This fits just right, and seems to place my foot in an optimal positon. Very comfortable.
