I think these are a very nice shoe! I like the foot bed width front to back and the appropriate, responsive support and cushion.

Great for my daily dog-walks. Haven’t taken them off road yet but I have no doubt they’ll be perfect! I will say they’re a little less comfy than my previous Brooks (Levitate 2) but they ARE comfortable! INCREDIBLE traction!

Only returning because they were a bit too narrow around the instep for me. My feet are on the wide side of medium and don’t usually have issues with medium width shoes but these weren’t going to work for me. However, they were very comfortable, stylish and supportive otherwise. If your foot is on the narrow end of medium, these would work perfectly.

My only quibble with these shoes isn't really a problem for them, but more on how my foot has changed over the years: they're a tad wider, and while the width of these shoes is pretty perfect. the ability to widen the lacing is limited. I love them, just wish they came in a wide sizing.

Perfect for walking and running on rocky trails. The sole is reinforced but still very flexible and the shoe offers good stability.

The Catamount has been perfect for the trails. I was worried it would be too rigid, but it is not. I was a long time Launch wearer and now I wear the Hyperion Tempo and these shoes fit my feet well.

I switched from the Cascadia to Catamount this year. LOVE these shoes. Great over technical terrain but still responsive over the easier stuff. Great grip.

My new favorite shoes for just about everything. I love them for general exercise and nature hikes. Pretty good grip on the rocks, although for true hiking the lugs on these are pretty shallow. They have a very clever elastic band that supports the foot without making it feel confined, and keeps my feet in neutral pronation. Orthotics are a little tricky, as this is a fairly streamlined shoe, but thinner ones work. I had to buy an extra pair to be ready if and when my first pair wears out. I only wish they had more colors.

These are pretty close to the perfect trail and jogging shoes for me. They were comfortable after the first day. This sounds silly, but I especially like the shoe laces: they're spongy hollow tubes, and they're very forgiving of my feet as they swell throughout the day. These shoes are also pretty comfortable on my rather high instep, which is a problem with a lot of shoes. Haven't tried them for hiking yet, and they don't have a rock plate so they won't be quite as stable as my usual hikers, but I'm hopeful they'll be pretty good. I ordered a 10.5, and they are a tad big on my foot. But I have found most 10s don't leave me much room beyond my big toe. I'm probably a mythical 10.25... Terrific. Might have to try a 10 just to see. I do wish they had some other colors, but the shoes themselves are just great.

I went half a size up based on other reviews and these fit very nicely. They are quite possibly the most comfortable running shoes I have ever owned and I have been running for 27 years. I bought the ones that are gray and pink and they're good looking shoes, too! I would definitely buy this style again.

A great looking style, have received many compliments on the stylish looks and I praise how comfortable for walking around. Heel height is very good, please don't change that (instead of following the low heel phase). Great thin breathable comfortable top shoe fabric which fits shapes around foot very well. Love the tread giving reliable support and comfortable grip. Love this and prefer the front of shoe toe and heel design so much much better than Adrenaline and Ghost. :)

This is my second pair of Catamounts because... well, they are incredible! Right out of the box this is the most comfortable fitting and feeling trail shoe. It's lightweight and incredibly responsive. I've worn it on multiple long (20+ mile) runs and haven't had any issues. The tread is not as "grippy" as I would want/need on some terrains, but for an all-around trail shoe this is my go-to!

these trail shoes are wonderful! i'm so happy with the comfort, speed and responsiveness. i'm a physical therapist with an old foot injury, so you can imagine i'm picky about my running shoes and these give me everything i need from a trail running shoe (except gore-tex, but they drain really well). the toe box is roomy but not too much so. they fit more glove-like than the calderas, which i ran in before these. and bonus that they are cute too :) i run in the mud over the winter/spring in portland, and the dirt just magically falls off these shoes (for the most part) once they dry.

I'm new to trail running, but love these as my first trail shoes. Hard toe is perfect. As with all running shoes I got 1/2 size up from my normal street size.

I use these as hiking shoes. I would prefer the bottoms to be a little tougher, but they are far greater than any other trail shoe I have used!
