The out sole on both shoes are tearing away from the toe cap. I have worn these shoes twice so far. This is my second pair of these shoes and the first pair did the same thing. The quality isn't there. If you're looking to purchase these; dont.

This product is not wide as it said. Narrow, 'normal' fit, not good for wide feet.

Too many changes with this model. I'll be switching next go-round. I'm not a fan all the way down to the comically large tongue.

Not as comfortable as the gel nimbus 24. And they don't look as good

The shoe runs small. It's not very comfortable and the insert are laughable. I donated them to good will.

Im not satisfied, the GN23 is really very different from the GN 19, I mean the quality of the sole and the heel counter ..that's not what I expected

Quality has changed for the worse. This pair of Gel Nimbus 23 has fallen apart quickly. The material and the tread are completely shot from daily walking - no running. Still have an old pair of Gel Nimbus 18, and the tread on those is in better condition. Ordered another pair of 23s, but if they wear out the same, I will be switching brands.

I usually enjoy my Asics. I believe they have been the best shoes for my feet in the past. This pair seemed to be on par, but with very minimal wear, parts of the sole are already coming off the bottom of the shoe. I'm very disappointed.

The shoe did not fit. I have the same shoe in a size 11 wide and it fits fine. The shoe I just ordered was size 11 wide but my toes hit the end of the shoe. I would order another shoe but am skeptical about the fit and what size to order. We do not have a store near us where I can try the shoes on and purchase. I could order two shoes from you, in different sizes and send one back, but that would cost you the expensive shipping. I love the shoe, but.......why does one pair fit, and another of the same size not?

The quality of the shoe has declined. Not as good as the 20

So I have an older pair of Gel-Nimbus version 13 I believe and I really like them, but I was way past due in getting a new pair. I really like the look and the cushion is good. What is not good is that my foot is not as stable (front and back) any longer. My foot slides forward and backward as if the shoe is not keeping my foot in the same spot. I am really disappointed and hoped it would get better but it has not. Not sure what options I have since I have worn them a few times. Not sure if nimbus is now the wrong shoe for me. I have always had alot of respect for asics shoes, but this has been a bad experience for me.

The shoes are comfortable. I ran into an issue of a squeaking shoe while walking. I repites the issue and the response was that based on the pictures there was no defect notes so I was unable to get a swap out. I have had many ASICS due to their comfort and durability. This shoe has an internal issue for me. ASICS states there is sweat or wetness in the shoe causing the noise. I get the squeaking off and on, more on than off. It's annoying. The right shoe is now starting to make its own noise now.. Great looking, feel comfortable but they make noise.

I have been a Gel-Nimbus fan for years, but they made the Gel-Nimbus 23 4E more narrow in the toe box than previous models. I'm getting a 4E because I have wide feet, so slimming them down ruined the shoe for me. I bought 2 different pairs hoping the first one was just a fluke, but nope. They don't fit anymore. Very sad. As soon as they go back to making them wide I'll buy a pair.

These run tighter or narrower than the others ASICS I have bought in the past

These are not wide shoes. They are comically more narrow than my womens size 10 D. I never got around to sending them back so I will sell them and warn buyer they are not wide. It does seem to be a comfortable footbed and looks nice.

This is my 10 pair of ASICS in the last handful of years. This is the first pair where the bottom of the shoe is literally disintegrating as I use them. My carpeting behind my treadmill has a pile of black rubber. Comfortable as always.

They aren't like past models. This pair lost their comfort after 10 hours of use. I switched from Brooks because I thought ASICS could compare. Years ago I bought ASICS and never had a problem. Times, models, and quality apparently all change simultaneously.

Feels more narrower than the Gel Nimbus 20 I own. And even the 20 wasn't as good as the the 12a and 23s. It also feels less stable as well. What happened to this once great shoe?

The shoe offers great support, but the outer mesh material is not durable, and it broke within three months of usage.

I've been a happy consumer of Asics shoes for probably almost 10 years and these have been the only ones that I've ever been unhappy with. Normally when I get a new pair of Asics, when they're brand new, they feel incredibly cushiony and comfortable, but these were only so-so. I thought maybe they'd break in over the last month, but the right shoe has been continuously uncomfortable. They are labeled as 4E, but the right one feels otherwise - my foot gets sore and stays sore, not typical of the usual quality I get from Asics. I'll still buy Asics, but I hope this level of quality doesn't become a trend.

The new GEL-Nimbus 23 (4E) are much more narrower than previous years versions. Might want to order a half size larger that previous models.
