bought this from a buddy at work a couple years ago. for the last two years every day i bring this full of sweet tea with me to work. now i work in a machine shop which between chemicals, metal chips, and generally being hot and loud is enough to kill just about anything, this thermos however has survived perfectly, its been dropped, thrown, and abused for two years now. yet, im currently drinking a cold glass of sweet tea out of it right now.

This thing is absolutely fantastic. My wife got it for me a couple years ago and I couldn't be happier with it. I have tried all sorts of coffee cups that claim to keep coffee warm all day and they just do not hold up. This bottle keeps my coffee perfectly hot all day, even out in the north woods of Minnesota in the fall and winter.

I have been using the Stanley thermos for many years. I had one a couple years ago that suddenly stopped keeping my coffee hot for very long, so I just wen a bought a new one. I had been seeing the lunch box that hold the thermos on top, got the lunch box and a new thermos. On the very first day I used it I had strapped it to the luggage rack on my Harley and for some reason it came loose and fell off the motorcycle going about 65 MPH. I stopped and picked it up the impact had cracked the lunch box and dented and scratched up the thermos. The thermos still works great about 2 yrs later. I kept using the lunch box for as long as I could but the cracks eventually started getting worse and coming apart. I still used the lunchbox for close to a year (I don't hold that one against Stanley) The thermos is still working greatand I just added a new Stanley mug to the family

Seldom does something I buy make me as happy!! I make a pot of coffee at * am, work the first half of a split shift, have my first (HOT) cups at about 1030. The coffee is STILL hot when I go back for the 2nd half of my split and drink some at %pm!!! a great value for a reasonable price. Keep up the good work.

I had my thermos for probable 15 years and never had a problem. I dropped it a few times and still keeps my coffee hot. The only thing I had to buy for it is a stopper. i'm looking for another thermos , because I dropped it again and the handle broke but still works fine.

Bought this a few months ago and was very disappointed when it wouldn't even keep my coffee warm. I did a warranty claim online, Stanley contacted me by phone and within 5 days I had a new bottle delivered. Now my coffee stays hot all day long. I recently started using it for ice water because it is starting to get hot here in the southwest and it has lasted more than 24hrs. So like I said I'm very happy with this bottle and with the Stanley customer service for taking care of me.

I must say their customer service was very good, I have a half gallon thermos from the 90s, that stopped working, they gladly replaced my bottle. Thank you so much Stanley!

Amazing. I am truly impressed by this Stanley thermos. After 24hrs the water is still boiling hot!. Two turns of the stopper and you can pour out your hot coffee easily. No leaks whatsoever! Glad i went with Stanley. Cant wait to take this to the beach and on long hikes!

I have had mine since 1993. I am having a problem with it leaking. Help

I have used this for a couple of years now .... Its awesome ! The big cup is on steroids compared to the other Stanley Vacuum bottles ..the new design is very refreshing . The handle folds up and is very sturdy . The pour through stopper lets the coffee flow and seals tight . I can fill with ice quickly and it lasts almost forever . I love it !!! Carpenter since 1985

I drive an over the road 18 wheeler and if I can't stop in a place where I can get a cup in the morning I can fill up my thermos the night before and have a hot cup 10 12 or more hours later. One of the best purchases I've ever made. There's a reason it's the same product my grandparents used. It doesn't need an update

This bottle keeps my coffee hot all day . I work on high rise buildings and tunnels , when I break its with my classic ol school thermos . I don't have a break room or break truck to run to . It servers me well . It is a great investment .... I fill up at my local gas station for $1.50 . Its the best tool in the job box..... Pour through Lid( Freaks people out...) I never purchased my Stanley thermos, I got it from my father's house after he passed away. I remember giving it to him as a gift in 1993 as a replacement for his thermos that broke. Here it is now 2016 and I am still using the same thermos we gave him when I was 5 years old. He used it everyday he went to work and now I use it every day. This thermos goes to the field when I train, it rides along in my tactical vehicle, goes to small arms ranges with me and it never fails to satisfy me, my coffee is always hot when I want it. Honestly Stanley made one mistake when they made this thermos, they made it too rugged, I don't foresee ever needing to replace it. It has been serving my family for over 20 years. Great product!!!!!

I purchased my Stanley-PMI 1.1qt Vacuum Bottle several years ago, it worked good, not great, for a while, but eventually wouldn't keep coffee warm, no where near hot, more than 3 hours. I did not know, or had forgot, about the warranty until a friend reminded me. On Jan. 25th well after business hours, I contacted the Warranty Service via email, and told them of my problem. The next morning (Jan. 26th) before 9:00 I received an email back from Consumer Care Specialist - Carol A. telling me a new one would be on the way. I received it yesterday (Feb. 3, 2016) via UPS. I put the new one to the test this morning (Feb. 4th), I filled it with hot tap water while waiting for the coffee to brew, dumped the water and re-filled with my coffee. I can already tell that the new one is far better than the old one ever was. Big thanks to Stanley for a great quality product!

I bought one of these about 6 years ago and used it nearly every day since then for my morning coffee at work. I recently noticed that my coffee wasn't staying hot anymore, so I wrote to Stanley and they honored the lifetime warranty ... after SIX YEARS. Can't ask any more from a product or a company. :-)

I've taken my Classic Vacuum Bottle on some cold and unkind journeys, and this bottle has never let me down. Contrary to some, it does not leak so lets just get that straight. Unless of course you don't know how to operate a basic stopping device then yea...there may be a failure. Probably also not should operate motor vehicles of any kind or handle sharp objects....just saying.The stopping device is locked in tight like gold at Fort Knox, and when it is time to unleash the heat ...PRESTO! Smooth controlled flow that is HOT. Simple and highly effective. The End

Received this thermos as a Christmas gift along with the ten quart classic lunch box and this thermos is simply excellent. Absolutely no leaking and holds heat for over 15 hours.

I am an avid hiker and love back country camping. I was gifted with this thermos from my employees after a rather chilly 3 day hike this past November in the Grand Canyon and I have been using it every day since. I have brought it along on my cold morning hikes and take my time enjoying the warmth of a hot beverage from the top of the mountain before I make my way back down. I would not suggest carrying it if you are trying to pack ultra light but would definitely recommend finding a way to bring it along in your pack if possible. I also make my morning caffeine addiction and drink it all morning long at work. It does cool off a bit but is still more than tepid after 6 hours. I believe the cooling is likely from me opening the thermos often to pour.

I purchased mine 23 years ago and it is still going strong. I have really put it through the ringer and it has never failed. I lost the cup that goes with it many years ago but that didnt effect its performance at all. Mine has the pour through stopper which I really like. It will always leave you with a hot cup of coffee after a cold day outside. I have seen many that are much older than mine still in use without any complaints. You will not be disappointed.

I got this from a family member for Christmas and so far it is everything I had wanted and more. It hold the perfect amount of liquid and keeps hot/cold all day!

My father purchased this in 1985 and used this product until the day he retired then gave it to me. I've been using this for the past eight years and still keeps my coffee hot for hours. Absolutely one of the best things I own today.

I got one of the China made navy blue one from Wal-Mart at Christmas paid 20 bucks for it but was sceptical because of the cheap price and being China made, but it still has the life time warranty. Have used it everyday for six days now and I love it. Coffe is just as hot at the first cup of my 12 hr shift as the last cup of my shift. Put lemonade in it to test the coldness and the results were the same. I only worry that maybe it won't be as durable and last as long as the 40 buck American made ones. But with a lifetime warranty it should be ok. Great product!

I have had this vacum bottle for about 5 years, still pouring hot coffee at end of a 12hr shift in freezing temps. I use my thermo everyday, even in the garage. I have used it as a hammer, wheel chalk and saw horse. Takes a lickin and keeps on pouring

I bought one last winter and I love it, I took it out hunting and it kept my coffee hot from 3am to 4:30pm amazing products Stanley keep it up

I love my vacuum bottle, but I noticed something. There is a second set of threads, below the cup that comes with the bottle. is there a second, larger cup available that screws onto the bottle???
