I bought this solely because my father and grandfather used the same one as long as I could remember. I've used some other brands in the past but they don't keep coffee hot as long and they never poor rite. This is the best thermos I've ever used or owned. I purchased it in 2005 and almost fifteen year later its still keeps my coffee piping hot from 5 AM to 10 PM. The finish has definitely taken some abuse but that just adds character. This thermos has been to Iraq, Afghanistan, Germany, California North Carolina, Wisconsin, and Texas. Its gotten me through deployments, school, countless early mornings and late nights. If your looking for something simple that is truly made to last this is it.

I purchased a Stanley classic vacuum bottle back in the late 90's and was the best purchase I made hands down... I took this to work with me for over 20 years and never let me down even with a few dents and scratches and even flaked paint. This bottle had settledmental value like it was a family member for all the years I used it and it was a good long journey. Just recently I noticed my coffee was not staying hot very long so I new it was time for a new one knowing it had a lifetime warranty.. so I called Stanley and told them the problem they told me we are sending you a brand new one free of charge because it has a lifetime warranty and it arrived at my doorstep in a timely manner. I love my new classic bottle.. I like how the top is wider and how light the whole bottle is. I can't say thank you enough Stanley for a awesome product with a lifetime warranty and a company who really truly stands behind there products.. you have a fan of Stanley for life thank you

I love this bottle! My late father used one in 1980s while autumn steelhead fishing. Forty years later it is still working, keeping daybreak coffee hot until lunchtime!

Drove from az to MS a few times with this and my coffee mug, kept coffee hour for at least six hours while driving every fill up

Love Stanley products. I own two 1.1 classic vacuum bottles, one classic growler, one 32 oz tumbler, two adventure cook cups and this bottle. Love them all they are tough as nails. One of my 1.1 qts I dropped off a roof (50 feet or so) and just the smallest ding in the stainless at the bottom. All in all lovely products the only thing that i don't like is that the stoppers/cups arnt interchangeable between the 1.4 and the 1.1 quart bottles. The lump inside mine snapped durring cleaning. Contacted customer service today waiting to here back. Regaurdless this will still be my go to bottle Ps, keeps coffee hot in cold Canadian winters up on the roof

the material used by this product are good, but they don't keep the water hot enough to roll for they day, my previous stanley was able to keep the temperature for 2 days or so. also the Stopper is not good, it leaks and is hard to poor.

This thermos is amazing! I've been using the green hammertone for 25 years because it works!!! Thankfully, I can now use one w color. Now I have blue, blue hammertone, purple hammertone, and neon pink. I often make coffee for the next day when traveling because I have to have my bean2bean coffee and it's still warm when I drink itup to 48 hours later. Love it and thank you Stanley for adding COLOR to my life.

Epic, very similar to the one I had as a kid. Seems solidly built and works as advertised. Needs a tall shelf space, but the footprint is just like any other tumbler, nothing crazy

I bought this for my uncle and one for my self its really gud investigate.u can add hot and cold stuff.plus u can add ice for more benefits.

The Best Thermoses!!! The only thing I'd like to see is different colors!

I grew up with one of these no more than 5 feet away on every camping, hunting, fishing, and ATVing trip we went on. It was in my dad's truck when I'd ride with him on longhauls, or chip runs, or while careening down a mountain in the PNW blasting on the CB as loud as we could with several tons of freshly loaded logs making sure that slowing down wasn't an option. Coffee was always hot. Chowder always steaming. Even that one time Odell Lake froze over with us still on it. I loved that green bottle. It was stoically unique with it's random dents, scratches, and DIY handle replacement made from a scrap of copper tubing. At some point dad "upgraded" and gave me his old bottle and I took it on my own many adventures. But I also somehow, lost it somewhere down the line. Not sure where that little emerald icon of reverence disappeared.... was it left in Iraq in 03? Seattle? Did it find a cranny in dad's barn while I stored my stuff during my move to LA? or maybe it disappeared when I and six other souls toured across 6 states and 4 Canadian provinces in an old Dodge van as we tried our very best to keep up with Soulfly and Five Finger Death Punch's busses and nurse a busted rear differential, only to almost get stuck in a blizzard between Calgary and Edmonton... I don't know. but it lived a good life and was a more than solid companion over decades, generations, and many, many adventures. At this moment, in the beginnings of a new adventure of mine, I think it's time I get a new one. A new ever present companion, faithfully at my side as I explore the back trails of the world on a 2-wheeled freedom machine. (Freedom in the adventure sense, not the political one) I'm thankful that the Stanley's made today, seem to be just as solid as my old, lost friend.

Keeps my hot drinks hots for 6 - 8 hours. Built tough.

Absolutely outstanding. As advertised. Coffee stays hot. Soup stays hot. All day. Steam with every opening. This is 5th purchase from Stanley - definitely not my last.

Great and reliable product. My dad used it when he was young and we still have his period. My oldest son uses it and now my youngest son wanted one so I bought one for him.

Gave this as a gift to my son. He loves it because he works long days and coffee stays hot for the hour on end. He's not in the construction business but in the service industry catering events and those easily are 10-12 hour days.

Years ago when I was a kid my dad worked for a water well drilling company. One morning he was running late and left it on the box on back of the truck he drove for the company. He was a welder and this truck was a 3/4 ton ram 2500 dually and he just had it across a weigh scale after a scrap run and it weighed in at just over 8 tons with all the material and equipment for his job. Well you guessed it he backed out the driveway and the thermos fell and he ran it over. It had but a small dent and still worked perfectly fine. That was some where around early 2000s when it was run over but the thermos was bought in the early 90s. It was roughly 10 years old at the time and he actually still uses it to this day and it still keeps his coffee hot for up to 2 days. I'd say it's almost 30 years old and still works as if new

The 1.5Qt is the perfect size for when I'm flying. It fits perfectly in my flight bag. My tea or coffee is always hot to the last drop!!
