Extremely comfortable shoe.

Great walking shoe that looks more like a cross training shoe (which I think is a good thing).

For new balance, the fit was great, width what was ordered and looked great!

I bought a second pair. I like these so much I wanted to have another pair in waiting just in case they aren’t available when I need another. If you have wide feet there is no better shoe.

I am a size 11 almost all the time, yet these shoes fit more like a 11&1/2 in fact there is so much extra room I decide to return and re-order proper size.

Fit and size were accurate. Material seems of good quality. Speedy processing and delivery.

I normally wear an extra wide show (4e), but a recent bout with a sprained ankle and then gout led me to a search for an even wider shoe to avoid pressure on the foot with subsequent pain from the swelling. These shoes fit the bill perfectly. Voila! No pain. I think that even without the swelling, these shoes would be more comfortable than my old ones.

This is a great shoe. New Balance is one of the leaders in athletic shoes. This one had an arch support which was important.

This is the only sneaker that fits me perfectly--width, length, everything. I"ve been buying this same shoe for years, and will continue to do so.

this is my new favorite shoe. the toe box is very generous like I like it. I do have to get used to the roll bar on the back of the shoe but this is a good thing. the built in comfort is very good and the insole is very good compared to the other insoles of NB shoes. a nice thick polyurethane one . I do however replace the insole with my happy step insoles. with that insole the comfort is much better for this particular shoe. it makes 10 hr. shifts on hard concrete floors exceptionaly comfortable. if you are on the fence about this walking shoe do yourself a favor and buy it. you will not regret it. these will also be very comfy on a 3 mi. hike also. :) as a shoe right out of the box comfort is VERY good . if you have no foot problems or needs these do very well. if you want more comfort then use an insole of your choice and the support and comfort of this shoe will be through the roof!!!! well done newbalane. homerun:).

FINALLY found a shoe that gives me the support I need

I couldn’t believe that I would find my shoe in the width I requested. My feet have not been this comfortable in more than fifteen years. I took the chance of ordering from Zappos because of their guaranteed return. I received them quickly and have not removed them from my feet except to shower and sleep.

Love Zappos. I'm returning this shoe. As a size 13M man, this shoe arrived a full size to small. This rarely happens so their sizing for this make of shoe appears to be wrong at the factory. I'm sure upon receiving a shoe that fit I will have 5 stars for the comfort.

New Balance fits me the best, and they are comfortable. I just wish better styles were available for my shoe size. The 847v4 is nice, but I'd like more style for a 12 4e

Feels like walking on a cloud. Not as cool looking as my daughters shoes but I’ll take function over form any day.

Everyone's feet are different, though i would have preferred better arch support. However, I find this model 847 to be supremely comfortable (with a special insert for my plantar fasciitis) for everyday walking.
