By far, the most comfortable sneakers I have ever had! My feet are extra wide , plus I have bunions. The mesh fabric keeps my feet cool too.

Lightweight and comfortable. Started wearing them as soon as they came out of the box.

Most comfortable walking shoes I have had in years. Would like more color options and as well as a waterproof option.

I have searched through almost all of Zappo's inventory to find comfortable walking shoes which have toe room for my wide (4E) feet. I believe I have found them. The NB 847v4 provides a fabulously large toe box, high and wide. Now, when I walk my 6000 steps each day I do so without foot, knee or hip pain. Eureka!

Fit and size was good. material was well built and soft. Good diabetic walking shoe.

The fit was okay. The best thing about these shoes is the big toe box, which I really need for more arthritic pinkies

My 16 year old grandson is very happy with these shoes. He said they are very comfortable. I'm so thankful that Zappos carries a good selection of widths. The 4E width fits great.

So far so good. I’ve worn them on 3 occasions and the feel light comfortable and the width was great. I do recommend this shoe.

My husband is thrilled with these New Balance sneakers. Wearing a 14 6E there is limited choice which is both comfortable and handsomely stylish. I cannot begin to describe how much better he walks with these new shoes. They are perfect!!!

I've owned 847 shoes for a long time, and now that they are completely mesh-based with no leather, I was afraid I wouldn't get the side support to prevent me leaning in. Boy, was I wrong. The mesh on these is so much better - my feet are now super cool with great breathing. These may be the best shoes I've ever owned in my life.

The fit is better than described. Plenty of room in the toe box. I can wiggle my toes and they stay secure while walking. Arch and heel support are perfectly constructed. The outside of the sneaker really breathes. Sometimes I have to check if I'm not wearing sandals. The wide size is not too wide and they hug my instep just right. I have worn them for a week and they are great support for walking and exercise. My medical provider suggested I look into orthotics, which is why I went for a new pair and familiarity with New Balance brought me back for another purchase for my aging feet. I haven't needed to take out the sole for an orthotic. This model is stylish and not at all looking like I got them for comfort, but that's what they are. Strongly recommend. In hindsight, I would rather have the grey, but white is fine.

Fit like a glove as soon as I slipped into them. Fit and finish are excellent, great colors to hide dirt as well. Will be my primary gym shoe as I continue to rehab from my second total knee replacement. Very pleased with my decision.

Excellent fit and finish. Well-made shoe with good walking comfort. I'm a heavy guy (265lb and 5'8") and these shoes keep my feet happy.

Typical excellent quality NB is know for. Good price. I am 70 and like a lot of older people my foot tendons are weakening and it hurts my feet to try and walk in stiff sole shoes. For a normal person this shoe has a firm sole for good balance and should be comfortable for you. If your older or a diabetic or a Leukemia stem cell transplant survivor like myself the GVH, graf vs host disease post transplant issues may cause your feet to swell and a stiff shoe will hurt your feet. My favorite soft sole shoe is the New Balance 880 first made in 2018. They have structure but they are light weight and have a soft sole that flexes very easy. I feel like I don't have shoes on when I wear them. Unfortunately the 880 has been upgraded over the past few years and the newer models I tried were too stiff a sole for my weak feet. I suggested to Zappos and Amazon to add a sole stiffness rating to their product description. It would help all of us to better judge what model to buy and save the aggrevation of returning items. I like the rocker sole models that take the stress off your big to ball socket and lessen the stretch of your arch tendons. If anyone that wears NB knows of a model that has a soft sole let me know please. Looking for 12.5 EE, all black fabric or leather. Picture of the new black 847 and old 880 attached.

This shoe fits great. The color is also true to picture. The NB has been an excellent company.
