I bought this jacket a couple years ago as I needed a new every-season rain and wind shell. This jacket has delivered beyond expectations. It has travelled with me just about everywhere I go, its light weight and packability make it perfect for stuffing into a small pack and bringing it wherever life may take you. Went to Brazil and took it in the mountains with me, encountered 70 MPH wind gusts with heavy rain and the jacket held its own. Has been through more downpours than I can count and still maintains its waterproof rating. I wear a L typically but opted for an XL as I wanted to be able to layer extensively underneath in cold weather. It runs relatively large (2018 or 2019 variant) and I find myself with more room than needed and far more length in the arms than needed, but thanks to the design it still wears fine and does not look like a parachute. The hood can be cinched to accommodate any head size and helmets/hats while providing good coverage. The extra length at the bottom is very useful as it sheds water below my pant pockets and sensitive bits. Overall very impressed with the jacket, have yet to retreat it with spray and it still beads/sheds water like the day it was received. Good ventilation/breathability. Outstanding performance in all temperatures and weather conditions.

I recently bought this to replace my old Alpha LT which kicked the bucket after 13 years of heavy use. My small still fit perfectly so that's what I ordered in the Zeta. It fits ok, but is tighter through the torso and especially the bottom drawstring. I can layer it over a hoodie or fleece but it's pretty restricting. I tried a medium and it fit better in the torso but the arms were way too long so I'm keeping the small. I'm 5'9" and 180 lbs with an athletic build. Haven't had time to test it in weather yet, but if it performs as well as my Alpha I'll be happy.

I wore out my Zeta AR and it was covered under warranty. I decided to give the Zeta SL a try for comparison. The fit is pretty much the same as the AR and the shell isn't noisey. The hood adjusts at the back and works perfect. Yesterday we had a heavy haul storm for 1 hour and I stayed perfectly dry. I'm 6'2, 185lbs and the large is perfect. I also like the long sleeves as my arms are long. I gave it 4 stars because I've only had it for 1 month.

Can't go wrong with this jacket, perfect shell to throw on in emergencies and super light weight - I carry mine all year round. Gave 4 stars as there are only two pockets (no inside or breast pocket for the small handy items).

This is a great lightweight Gore-tex shell. It is useful from spring to fall as a general rain jacket, but it shines as a packable shell for hiking/travelling/walking around town. Good for the unpredictable weather we sometimes get in the Pacific Northwest. It is relatively slim fitting and the design is minimalistic so it looks fine when wearing as an everyday jacket. The material is a bit stiff so it will make some noise when the material shifts/bends. The waterproofing is good so far.

I bought this jacket about a year ago and it has quickly replaced many of my other jackets. It has become my go to for kayaking, hiking, snowshoeing, camping, travel and just out and about town. I was looking for a lighter weight option to my now 25 year old heavy weight Arcteryx gortex jacket (don't know model but looks and performs like new even after all of this time). I originally bought this jacket for summer and warm weather travel, however it is so light and comfortable it is my go to for everything. I am between sizes but bought the larger alternative to be able to layer underneath. It has a beautiful cut and fit, moves with the body nicely and packs down to nothing. The hood is very well designed to actually be useful and stay in place and it has been completely weatherproof. The only reason it did not receive 5 stars is because it lacks a chest/sleeve pocket and the hand pockets are inaccessible when backpacking. Although a chest pocket would likely also be in the way of straps while hiking, maybe a sleeve pocket - something to carry your keys and/or phone would be an improvement. I also use this jacket for kayaking instead of my kayak jacket as it is easier to pack and easier to slip in and out of while still in the boat. A chest/sleeve pocket would be nice for this use also as the hand pockets are under my spray skirt... overall I love this jacket and use it for everything. I only get out my heavier one now when the temperatures go below -10C.

I'm usually an XS for Men's clothing. I got this in S and XS. I laid one on top of the other to compare the sizing. The XS was barely smaller; maybe half an inch difference armpit to armpit. For me, it was a very relaxed fit. I expect to use it as a top layer, so it's not a significant issue, but I wish it were slimmer.

I am a huge arc'teryx fan overall. I own a Sabre LT, Alpha LEAF and this Zeta SL
I originally purchased a Beta Hybrid and returned it for the Zeta. The fit is better for every day use as the hood is smaller, cut is less bulky and the color choices were nicer. For a light weight summer rain jacket, this can't be beat. If you have more of a "Dad bod" the Zeta seems to fits better than the Beta and still allows for light layering.
5'11", 190lbs, size lrg (bit long in the sleeves but perfect in the shoulders, chest and waist)

I've only had the jacket for a brief amount of time, so I can't speak to durability but initial quality is up to par with what I expect from Arcteryx. I bought a medium but the sizing is what I'd expect of a large or maybe even XL. I have an Atom LT in medium and the size on that is good, but this one rides about 3 inches lower on the sleeve and waist. I would recommend ordering at least a size down from what you'd normally get. For reference, I'm 5'10 and about 160 lbs.

Malgr le manque de poche intrieur ou extrieur niveau suprieur du manteau et l'absence des zippers sous les aiselles, c'est une excellente coquille.

I find the jacket well made. My biggest complaint is I wish the jacket had a chest pocket and pit zips. Overall not a bad jacket.

Purchased this in black about 6 months ago and has served me really well in the PNW. Kept my torso bone try in steady Seattle mist rain and Portland downpours. Also has served me well as a simple, lightweight shell to keep warm while hiking. I just found the seams on the inside of the jacket ripping in three places though. One on the drawcord on the waist and two on either side of the inside of the neck. Really disappointed by this and I really expected more from such an expensive jacket. The Gore-Tex is truly waterproof, but certainly think twice because the quality of this jacket is sub par.

I bought this Zeta SL at your Outlet site. I kinda like the Draceana color. I normally order medium
size on my previous purchases and they fit me well, but this time, the size looks weird. It fits well on my body but the shoulder is soo big on me. Is it why it's on your Outlet site, so I returned it.
I will always like your products, but scared to buy at the Outlet site.

bought the XS for my son which other arcteryx jacket works for him- it's HUGE. It almost fits me where I typically wear a medium sized jacket. nice jacket otherwise.

This jacket offers a few 'basic' features the FL version does not, but the face fabric is a big step-down in quality. The fabric is stiff, loud, and not consistent with other Arc'teryx products. (Dare I say, it feels 'cheap').
Fit is good as you would expect with Arc'teryx.

The quality seems good but I never used it because the sleeves it to long (around 10-15 cm).
