Bought this over a month ago. Works well, no complaints. I wear an Atom LT Vest under it when it's colder. I use it as a day-to-day in the springtime, and am planning to do the same in the fall. Does a great job of keeping me dry, and it does a great job of resisting wind. Worth the money, in my opinion.

I mainly use this jacket for trips around the city and light hikes. I wish it had an inside pocket.

Got this jacket for Christmas and just got back from a very cold walk. Wore a thick hoodie underneath and used it as a outer layer and was very warm thanks to the wind proof technology. Weather here today is -25 and -34 with the wind chill (Canada). Terrific jacket for packing on a hiking trip and if you have the proper layers underneath, great for cold Canadian winter as well.

I brought this a week ago and haven't gone out without it since it's been particularly cold and has been raining and snowing a lot but this Arcteryx had protected me perfectly.

This jacket is an excellent partner for long walks/hiking and long bike rides. It is not only a good protection against the rain, it also performs great as a windstopper when the wind is really severe. In a way it is minimalistic, but what do you really need. Protection and that is the core business of this jacket. It fits well and it has nice long sleeves witch gives also protection to the hands. The hood is very good adjustable. Important in traffic because is follows the movement of you head very good.

I bought this as an outer layer for fall. Very good to keep the rain off and the wind out. The jacket is lightweight and fits really well. Used with an Atom and it was really comfortable, in the wind, to -5C.

Just recently got this in preparation for Fall & Winter activities and I'm excited to be using this. Its lightweight and seems perfect to fit over my Atom LT Hoody. I have not tested the waterproof capabilities on this particular garment, but do own and have tested the pairing for this leg (Zeta SL Pants). I expect nothing less from Arc'teryx.

I bought this shell at the start of the 2021 summer in preparation for the hiking season. I do not regret it. This jacket is insanely durable and packable, I've stuffed it in the smallest spaces in my backpack and it's still held up when I needed it. It's extremely light and easy to cover anything from just some fleece to a down jacket, and the colour is great. Only con for me is that the sleeves are a little long for my arms, but thats just a fitting issue and I might get as small if I were to get another jacket with the same fit. Overall I plan to have this jacket for a long long time and I'd suggest it to anyone just needing a high quality basic shell for all around conditions.

Bought this October 2021 and hiked a long ridge line trail in low-lying clouds between summits at about 2,500 feet at Grafton Notch, Maine. The fog/clouds made things as wet as if it were raining, and the wind was cold and brisk. This jacket performed. Didn't miss pit zips. Don't be afraid of the long sleeves (and they are long). I liked that, when left loose, they covered and protected my bare hands, which could pop out unimpeded to grab a rock or tree as needed upon slipping. The sleeves stay out of the way just fine when wrapped by the hook-and-loop straps too. I'm 6'0" and 190 and like the fit of the large size.

This rain jacket is made to keep what's under it extremely dry. The zippers are made to be seamless so no water soaks in. This is my go to jacket and love the rust color

I bought this lightweight shell after two other ultra lightweight shells had failed pretty miserably in the rain even when new. I do a lot of backpacking/hiking and I wanted a lightweight jacket that actually protected in the rain. The Zeta SL has checked all the boxes and even looks very nice when I wear it on non hiking days. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

I bought this jacket to keep in my daypack for emergencies but I have started to use it more than any of my other shells. It's super lightweight and comfortable and looks nice enough I can wear it into work and receive compliments. I'll probably buy a second one for every day use and keep the one I have now for my pack, as I originally intended.

Got Elitron color last season, and recently did a solo trekking trip. I always heard that goretex jackets where good but was a bit suspicious about the quality of breathability of them. The jacket performs better than expected, being super light but when wind picks up, you immediately notice that you dont feel a thing. Wearing it with only a fleece as a 2nd layer was enough to be comfortable at all times.

I own the Beta AR and will be buying the Alpha SV or Beta SV The Zeta SL is a great "Light Shell" alternative, easily packable and very breathable I sized up as I want the flexibility to layer with a Delta LT Jacket or Covert mid-layer

I got this jacket for backcountry camping and am extremely happy with the quality. It is super lightweight and fits perfectly over my Atom AR hoody. The two jackets will be a favourite piece of gear this fall.

Bought this last year and it has upheld and surpassed every expectation I have in an Arcteryx rain jacket. Notably, last spring I used it on La Cloche Silhouette Trail in Killarney provincial park. While my friends suffered through 3 days of torrential rain in their soaked through rainwear, I stayed fully dry. Before our next trip, 3/6 of the others had purchased this jacket. I am 6 foot, about 160 pounds with a slim athletic build. I am a consistent size small with Arcteryx, and this jacket is no exception. I can comfortable fit a fleece underneath and it doesn't appear baggy with just a base layer. The jacket can be compacted to about the size of a Nalgene if you do it right. All the seems have held their water-tightness and I have had no water leakage issues through the main or pocket zipper. Awesome adjustable hood with a stiff brim that keeps the rain out of your face. Have also found it doubles as a pretty nice winder breaker while maintaining surprisingly decent breathability. If you're willing to fork out maybe double the price of a decent rain jacket, the investment is well worth it. This jacket is far superior to all other high end rainwear I have seen on the market. I have noticed no indication of wear and anticipate at least 10 years of intense usage from this lifesaver.

This is the ideal jacket for hiking, camping, commuting, or just about anything. Nothing quite compares for wind and water resistance. Unreal!
