These boots look so gorgeous on the website!!! Once I've got them it was immediate disappointment!! These boots are sooo stiff! It took a lot of effort to un zip them and zip them back up. I cannot imagine how could anybody be comfortable wearing them. Going back right away!

I purchased these boots in black with the brown band around the top. The foot of the boot is so big and curves up so high, they look like galoshes. Very unattractive. Sending them back without a second thought.

I'm so bummed! Finally decided to take the plunge into expensive boot waters and these just didn't work. You can tell these are high quality materials but the leather is so stiff that I actually found it uncomfortable around my ankles. Plus after wearing them around my house for just 10 minutes the leather around the ankles already showed crease marks. Can only imagine that will get much worse. I also felt they were about 1/2 a size too big.

I have purchased Frye’s before. These boots are super narrow in the foot and very uncomfortable. There’s a reason why they are less expensive then your typical tall Frye boots. I would not recommend these boots at all. I put them on for just a few minutes, and they hurt!

These are the most uncomfortable boots I have ever worn! They are beautiful, but very uncomfortable! The boots are leather, so I expected some discomfort the first few times I wore them, but I've had worn these over a dozen times and they are as uncomfortable today as the first time I put them on. I get blisters and sores every time I wear them. I also had one of the buttons fall off, though the boots are only 2 months old. While very slow to respond, the Frye customer service team was helpful in coordinating a repair however. I have another pair of Frye boots, which I love and were definitely worth the money, but the Jayden's are a HUGE disappointment. I definitely regret this purchase.

Hard to get your foot into the boot because the leather is so stiff. Beautifully made, but large at top of calf. The circumstances of this boot in the description is not accurate.

Hell No. Do not buy these boots--you'll just have to send them back. (I don't know why people are giving good reviews to boots that so many have to send back!) The boots that were sent to me had been damaged by someone trying to (obviously unsuccessfully) shove a too large hoof into the boots. The back was all broken down on the right boot, and somewhat on the left one. Decided to try them on (plan was to order another pair if they fit), and I could not even get my foot into the boot (note: I own 3 other pairs of Frye boots--no similar problems with them). The vamp is so shallow that (unless you have collapsed arches and flat feet) you likely won't be able to wear them. Save yourself the hassle and order something else.

This feels like putting wood on your feet. Extremely tight and uncomfortable and hard to slide your foot in. Very stiff. This is going back.

Boot looked great but was unable to get it on. I don't have high arches but I just couldn't pull them on & didn't want to risk damaging them. Returned unfortunately.

Stabs into my outer ankle and wears away the skin :( Stiff and inflexible. Not worth its pretty looks.

couldn't get my feet in! the leather is so stiff there the boots don't stretch a little for you to put your feet in.

ok so I ordered the gray, because they are beautiful online, but why am I looking at dark brown boots? That is issue #1. Second, the foot and toe covering part is so tight it was awful just to stand in. I am very thin and skinny and these were still so uncomfortable, I couldn't imagine a 'normal' sized foot in there. There is a small scuff on one of them. Luckily I have such skinny legs zipping them up and they looked great around my calves. Unfortunately I wanted the gray boots, and I wanted to be able to walk in them so I have to return them.

I love Frye and own several other pairs of different styles however, these ones didn't work. I am a true size 10 shoe and do not have big legs. I was unable to even slide my foot down into the foot bed because the ankle and shaft are so narrow. Disappointed and will be returning.

Unless you have the tiniest calf in the world, do not order this boot! I have small to normal sized calves and ordered this boot in a 9.5 and 10 to compare, and the inner side zipper only went about half way up each calf and wouldn't close. Really strange design that makes these gorgeous boots totally unwearable for anyone with average sized legs.

This would have been my fourth pair of Frye boots so I was pretty surprised at the disparity in the sizing difference considering all of my other pairs are also size 10. I couldn't even get my foot into the footbed even with the zipper all the way down and slippery socks! I was finally able to jam it in there and there was no chance the zipper was going all the way up. I have muscular calves, nothing crazy, just runners calves and these things were a good 3 inches from being zipped all the way up. They are really nice looking boots though, I hope the replacement "wide" version coming in fits better.
