I bought a pair of these a few years ago and loved them. I purchased my second pair thinking they were the same as my other pair. No they were not the same. The fleece inside is so skimpy that the shoe flops as I walk. My old ones had twice the fleece as these and cradled my foot but not these. Very disappointed. If I had tried them on in a store I would never have bought them.

Size was too big. Insert slipped out WAY to easily. Did not seem like the usual excellent quality of Merrell. I have hiking boots and a slide both of which I love. Most disappointed in these.

These shoes are such poor quality compared to the same pair I purchased two years ago. I have Reynauds and I loved my old Merrill's because they kept my feet warm. I returned this pair. I wish companies would stop making changes to their products. Very disappointed!!

Not the same as they used to be. Had to go down a full size and they are still more like slippers than outdoor slides.

I have had several pairs of these over the years. The last two pairs I ordered are not up to Merrell standards or mine. They are really wide and big. The old style hugged my foot. I bought a black leather pair and thought it was maybe a difference between leather and suede. I just got a new pair of suede and I couldn't be more disappointed. They do not fit like my usual 7.5. I'm afraid if I went down a half size, they would just be too short and still too wide. If I had wanted wide width, I would have ordered it. The lining is different too, not as plush. The foot bed insert wouldn't stay in place just to try them on. For the money, I can't keep them.

Bought these quite a while ago (as they had been hard to find so bought while they were available). I've worn the Ice style for years and always loved them. Tried to wear them today for the first time and they literally rubbed slivers of skin off the bottom of my big toes. I felt the inside sole of the shoe and it's all wrinkled down for where the big toe would go. They're brand new - ugh ! If they weren't so expensive I'd toss them out but I'll TRY to see if I can find a decent insole and throw out the useless one that came with the shoe.

I have had may pairs of Encore Ice shoes and have loved them. I just now received the 2 pairs that I ordered, tried both pairs on and was rather shocked! They were too wide , and bigger then my usual size. I am so disappointed, I am sending them back.

I have been buying these shoes for years. This is the first year the quality is down the drain. I will be returning the shoes.

I purchased a new pair yesterday-have been wearing for years, knew my size so did not look at shoes until I returned home. So dissatisfied with the quality-the fake fur was very uneven and missing in places-these can not even compare to the ones I have purchased in the past. Shame on Merrell for skimping on the quality. I will be returning.

I returned the first pair since it was too big, got the second pair still to big. Also no arch support and too wide. The heel cup is lower too. What a shame- I loved my last pair. I'm buying a thicker shearling insole - hopefully will help.

Horrible, cheap materials in comparison to what they were years ago. Not worth buying anymore.

These are not the quality they used to be in the past. They "squeak" when you walk in them and don't feel like the quality leather they used to be. I returned these sadly.

Wayyyy too big!!! I've been wearing Merrells for over 10 years, the quality is just not there anymore. No insole. Would have returned them but not one color left in the size down that I would have needed.

This is a low score because I have a balance problem and the shoe made the problem much worse. Now I have two pairs of shoes I cannot wear, one of which I have never even worn. As far as looks and comfort I give them superior.

The first time I wore these the lining came out when I took the shoe off. Will be returning. Had same pay and had no issues that's why I ordered again.

I wish I liked these as they were expensive. No support and wearing them makes my knee and heel hurt. They are hard to walk in.

I bought these for comfort. Big mistake. There is no support for your feet when walking around. Your foot sinks into the shoe and it feels like your wearing a bed slipper. A flat bed slipper with no support. They use to make Merrell shoes better I don't what happened?? I had an older version to these and they were the best. And for the price totally not worth it

So sad. This is my 4th pair but there is a fit problem. The left Shue doesn't support my foot and my ankle turns in.

Very dissatisfied with this new line. Nothing like the last line of Encore Ice 2. Which I absolutely loved. Bought two pairs recently and sent them both back. As they were very sloppy.

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing my last pair. I have owned several pairs of Encore Ice so I assumed the fit would be the same. Incredibly disappointed in the quality and the sizing. Although my old pair is stretched out they fit much better than the new style. The new style is cut differently and the shearling is much thinner, my feet are absolutely swimming around in the new version. I have always loved Merrells but unfortunately this pair is going back. Please bring back the old style!!!
