The fit was fine but I was hoping the look/style would be closer to the Siren Sport 2. I dislike the peach on these and the overall style looks like a hiking shoe trying to be an older person's running shoe - not a low profile, lightweight hiker - which is what I'm looking for.

I purchased first, a 7W, but it didn't fit quite right - needed to be a little bigger, then I purchased a 7.5W. This was a little too big, but I would have worked with it with thicker socks if it weren't for the weird shape of the insole and thus the shoe to support that. For some reason, the arch part of the insole started under my heel instead of under my arch. It was a good .5 inch too far back - like no one's arch starts back that far. It was just strange. I love the look, and the fit was fine, but the arch support design was just strange, so I have to return this one, too.

This shoe just did not fit right for me.

I love the look of these, and I really wanted to love them. I have wide feet, and I did order wide shoes. As soon as I put my foot in, I felt like there was something stuck inside the shoe because it was so narrow. I ordered a size up, as well… same thing. If the wides fit this narrowly, I can only imagine what the regular width ones feel like.

too wide in the instep. Much bulkier than the Siren Edge. Probably a good, tough hiking shoe, but I prefer thinner and more flexibility.

Fit was too small with my orthotics and too big with the shoe's own insole. I like Merrell's hikers generally but this would not work with my high instep.

The style is nice and this is what I was looking for but since I’m on my feet all day I need more arch support.

The shoes are nice but the arch support is maybe an inch in back of where it should be. I’ve never experienced this before. It’s a little uncomfortable but not terrible. For now I am keeping the shoes to see if I adapt to the fit. It seems like a very strange issue - especially from Merrell, a company which knows how to make good fitting shoes!

The size was okay, but the shoe was not as comfortable as I expected and the arch too stiff and not good for walking. I like the looks of the shoe but it just didn't work for me.

the arch is set back too far. i tried two different sizes and really wanted these to work for me, but they dont. Sending back. For my foot type altra fit best if that helps for comparison

These shoes definitely need some breaking in. They are quite rigid out of the box. Seem wider than previous version of this shoe. I'm keeping anyway because I'm hoping they'll be more comfortable once broken in.

Really, really wanted to like these shoes. I typically like Merrill. These? Not so much. Literally killed my hip and lower back. Something about the support deal or something. I wear comfy walking shoes/sneaks every day to work. Why? Because I need a hip replacement and have lower back pain - -all related. Made my feet look like ping pong paddles. Very wide, and they are not. Color garish and not what I thought. Halloween shoes. Obviously going back.

Every time I wore these I had foot problems as the hard part along the toe rubs in the wrong way. Guess I am donating these since too late to return.

Ordered these for the first time and was disappointed with the fit. Liked the color though. The area around the tongue was very wide. The heel was collapsed down. The overall fit was just “off”. I’ll be sticking to the Siren Edge 3 in future orders. I was surprised how different the fit was between the two styles.
