Not like the original Siren Sports at all. Merrell changed the arch support and made the heel much 'harder' & higher. Wanted so very much to like them. Kept them weeks before ultimate return. Why do manufacturers have to fiddle with something that "ain't broke"?

I love this shoe. My first pair I wore out walking all day as a nurse. I just bought my third pair after purchasing my second pair a week ago. I did not care what the color was. I had to have them. I had to go to MERRELL.COM to get them because ZAPPOS was out of my size today. This is the most comfortable shoe I have found in a "tennis shoe" bar none. If these 2 sets last as long as the first set, I'll be super happy.

Just like a dream - these shoes have come back to life! These are my favorite favorite shoes. In fact, when they stop making them years ago I had problems with my ankles and legs that lasted for over a year. These are the greatest shoes ever. I just bought six pairs today

I first ordered a size 9 which just looking at them I could tell they were too small. After trying them on, they were at least a full to half size too small. I re-ordered the 9.5. Size was just right but the arch was now hitting in the wrong spot on my foot. Couldn't wait to take them off. Returned both the 9 and 9.5. Too bad.

I have had the shoe before. It served me very well when I had a stress fracture. It was better than a medical boot. It is great for walking. Excellent support.

I had the prev. version (Siren 2) , and needed a replacement pair. These are great. I like the way they look, and how you can really adjust the fit with the lace-up style. I wish there were more colors. I wear size 10 and have a slightly wide foot. I usually wear a light hiking sock, and they fit fine. I purchased size 10M.
I use these for day hikes on state/nat'l park trails.

I'm done with Merrells! I used to be such a loyal, happy Merrell customer, wearing Moabs & Siren Sports for years. Now, they've taken out the Ortholite insole and replaced it with a cheapie thin, firm insole. The material underneath used to be soft & cushy, but now it's just hard. The outsole has NO cushion feel to it at all, it's just all hard. And, my feet used to enjoy a very supportive feeling with just the right amount of cushion, but this shoe has none of that, either. I even took out my very old Siren Sport to compare with this new version and it was clear that Merrell has gone real cheap now -- which has been my opinion with every style I've tried in the past 2 years. The only thing positive is that they offer shoes like this in wide widths.

This is an attractive shoe, but they are stiff and uncomfortable. They pressed down on the top of my toes and no matter how much I loosened the shoe strings, there just wasn't enough room. Tried a wide, but they were still uncomfortable.

I've worn Merrell Siren sneakers for many years and have had many pairs. I want to echo what some other people have said, the inserts in the shoes used to be better. The shoe could use a little more cushion otherwise I always find them a good fit for my feet, with plenty of toe room. This Siren Sport 3 has some leather instead of vinyl and I'm hoping it might be cooler in the summer.

Too small. They looked small in the box to the extent i got sent the wrong size but the shoe and box were labeled as 9. More like an 8.

I really like to post positive reviews, but this shoe won't allow it. For so many years I was a loyal Merrell shoe buyer, but not anymore. I even wore the Siren Sport a long time, but this is NOT the same shoe that it used to be. No Q-Form, a cheap, thin/firm insole, a very hard shoe base and no support laterally are all the disappointments. This was like putting on a $25 copy from Walmart.

Bought these shoes recently and unfortunately they didn't last 20 miles on the trail before the midsole collapsed. The last 10 miles I noticed that I was having arch pain and foot bed pain. My husband walked behind me and notice my foot was collapsing. I ended up switching to Moab 3.

Right out of the box, super comfortable on a 1 1/2 hr desert mountain hike. I was looking for some solid treads on the sole for traction on loose rocks; these are perfect. The 11W width gives me plenty of room in the toe box (a lifetime struggle) but stays snug on my narrow heels. The sole is shaped to rock forward as you step. It's nice NOT to have a shoe bend at the front and dig into your forefoot, or worse yet, require breaking in to create a flexible front. Most importantly, my two canine desert trail climbing companions approve the stylish look.

I ordered both the Siren Sport 3 and the Siren Edge 3. I was going to send one back, but I've decided to keep both. These are the first shoes I have gotten in a Wide width, and boy, are my toes thanking me! The Siren Sport 3 is really comfortable, the material quite breathable. It is stiffer than the Siren Edge 3 and has a bit more cushioning. The S. Sport 3 is cut a little wider around the arch the lacing isn't quite as adjustable as the S. Edge 3, but it's really sturdy. This shoe will be my go to for rougher terrain. The Siren Edge 3 feels really good too. The material is light weight, and I especially like the lacing, and the way the shoe curves in to hug your arch. I think the styles complement each other. The Siren Edge 3 hugs my foot better, and is quite flexible. I'll be using it for road walking and everyday.

Really nice shoes but like several of the other reviewers said they are way too small, too short in the length.

These are supportive and attractive! My only demerits would be that I wish the insole felt a bit more cushioned and that there was more arch support. I will probably need to add some type of insole to cushion and mold to my temperamental feet. But in terms of traction and supporting the motion of your foot in a forest walk, they seem great.

I've always liked Merrell shoes and was pleased when they began to offer wides. The Siren Sport 3 are pretty and seem well made, but they were so stiff, and difficult to put on, I thought I'd ordered the wrong size. Sending them back.

This shoe felt too roomy in the toe box. I have a pair of Siren Sport Waterproof, and they are an excellent fit. I wanted another pair, but there don't seem to be any. I decided to try the Siren Sport 3, non waterproof. The fit, the feel, is totally different, as if the two (the Sport 3 and Waterproof version) were made on different lasts. Note: this is a fairly stiff shoe as some reviewers point out; but they have excellent support and a sturdy sole, not those squishy ones. Unfortunately, I'm returning these and hope the waterproof version will show up in a different color than what I have.

Perfect, just perfect. Good from the first time I slipped them on. I'm a dog trainer, so I like something that's light, not slippy on multiple surfaces and a step-up from sneakers/running shoes.

I like the colors, the fit and comfort of these shoes. These are my sneakers because of the support and durability these provide. I am 65 years young and after years on my feet as a nurse, my feet need comfort. I need style and comfort. I walk now for enjoyment of beaches, mountains, trails, nature walks.

I call these my 'Party' hikers because they look so nice! I have large feet and a bunion on one and I find these very comfortable. Probably not good on a muddy trail but they are perfect for sighhtseeing and light trails. They also make my feet look smaller which is a plus!

This was my third pair to find the right fit. I wear a 10M, and it took me 3 tries to get a good fit (size 11M). My toes would touch the tip of the shoe when I'd take a few steps. The shoe is amazing for my daily walks. They offer a lot of support around the heel, have great arch support, have lots of toe room, and have excellent grip. Even though I walk on sidewalks, the shape of the shoe helps me walk a little faster as my heel doesn't sink into the back of the shoe like most running shoes do (soft heels). To walk well, a harder shoe is better. LOVE IT!
