I have worn Merrells for over 15 years. It is my "go to" day hiker and I've been your basic size 8 forever! I know I can always order a size 8M and 99.9% of the time those fit beautifully for every model except this one, Siren. A size 8M in this one is short that my toes are crammed up at the end of the toe box!!! So weird for Merrell....I had to send these back. And I will be putting a note for myself that when its time to order new shoes, DON'T ORDER THE SIREN model.

Most uncomfortable/painful shoes I have ever tried to wear. I was replacing my Avian Light Ventilator's (which I loved from day 1) and these look very similar. The insoles are like a thin sheet of cardboard, no cushioning at all. The rest of the shoe is so stiff and hard, I'm not sure they cold ever be broken in.

Way too small and uncomfortable. Seemed very narrow for a wide width shoe. My Moab boots are the same size and fit perfectly. I returned these for a refund

This is the first pair of Merrill's I purchased. I got them for work, they are the most uncomfortable shoes I own. Very disappointed, there is absolutely no cushion in them whatsoever

I have had Siren Sport hikers since the original. Why was the design changed? The higher attachment of the tongue and removal of loop for an eyelet for the top of the laces makes this shoe unwearable for me. Think of wearability, not marketing in future models. Glad to see this one has sold poorly.

I'm done with merrell they size was way too small and they had to be sent back I have the same shoes from yrs ago and they have really changed

They are very narrow even in wide width. I returned them.

I had several pairs of Sirens in the passed and loved them. So when I saw they were being made again, I was excited to get a new pair. They came. I had to put them on right away. Boy was I disappointed. They were a bit smaller and not comfortable at all. There was a bump or lump of some sort on the outer side like an arch on the opposite side. I even exchanged them for a different pair. They were the same, NOT comfortable at all. I returned both pair. I'm not sure what changed.

I was so disappointed with these shoes, the fabric on them started falling apart almost immediately! It makes me sick to pay this much for shoes and have them fall apart right away. And they are so comfortable too

The Siren has been my favorite for many years and I just bought my third pair, but these are not like the others. Very stiff. I feel like I have bricks under my feet. Also, very noisy.
