These shoes, in a size 10 are bigger than a 12-13 given their design. Awful!

Soles of the show were worn in less than a week of wearing. I didn't feel it was right to return this product within 30 days bc they became dirty very quick from running.

I really wanted to like this product. I was using them for marathon training (long, slow mileage) and at first the shoes were great: they promote a neutral gait (I tend to pronate), and had good arch support. Unfortunately these shoes wore out very fast - at about 200 miles. 80% of those miles were on a treadmill too. I'm a midfoot runner with a >180 cadence, so I run pretty light. The foam and tread wore out too fast though for this to be a viable shoe. Would not recommend.

I knew the back sole would be sticking out farther than the heel, I get that's the style, but when I tried it on it just seemed like too much extra. The color was ok, it seemed true to the online picture. Just wasn't a comfortable shoe, too many rough, pokey spots inside.

I searched women's shoes and thought I ordered women's shoes but was sent a Men's instead....way too big... and I hate that because now they don't have my size in women's

These shoes are really narrow although they are true to size. I tried to send back to the company for an exchange but it's taking two weeks to even get a response back. I'm losing faith in this company

I wrote an original 3-star review at about ~70 miles, at that time I had some shin splints on/off with these and was disappointed in how quickly the sole wore down. But, I thought my body had adjusted and it would be smooth sailing. About a week later, I had to pull the plug and return these. 4 out of 5 runs in these would give me shin splints, a problem I never had until I bought these. I tried my old Clifton 7s to test my theory, and experienced no pain in those. I suspect the big extended heel on the Edge's caused me trouble. They gave me some pretty gnarly blisters as well. Maybe these will work for you, but I would steer clear. For $30 more than the Clifton's, they lasted 1/3 of the miles and risked injuring me. I wish these worked out better

1st off, I absolutely love running in these shoes and quickly posted a 5* review. The light weight uphill and cushioning downhill are amazing, but like another reviewer, have found the soles are shot with just under 70 miles run. Granted 13 runs had 9,000 elevation gain, so they were being well tested, but I can't afford to buy running shoes that wear out so fast. I'll run in them some more, but hope Hoka addresses this. Cliftons easily log 400 miles and Bondi 500, so seeing where these are at 70 miles, tells me I won't be buying another pair which is really disappointing.

Replaced with SpeedGoat after 1st run (4 miles) for excessive wear. Unimpressive construction and certainly far inferior to my favorite SpeedGoat.

I wear Speedgoats for trail running and I love them, hands down best trail shoe for me. I was hoping that the Clifton Edge would provide the same cushion feel as the Speedgoat on the road. My initial thoughts are the shoe feels great, provides the cushion I was looking for as well as the ride I was looking for but only after 90 miles in them, the tread on the bottom is completely worn down, and totally worn out in some places. 90 miles! that is only 1/5th of the life of a normal road running shoe. Pretty disappointed in the durability of this model.

Very stylish but not for a distance runner at all. Feels like you're running with big block attacked to your feet. Felt like I had to push harder to lift off. Back detail totally unnecessary. The laces severely cut into my foot because the tongue is so short. Tried out for three runs and then gave up hope in HOKA altogether :(
