I got these about a week ago and I am absolutely in love with this shoe. i recently retired my old rincon's and decided to upgrade to something that's mush more cushiony. I run 6 days a week and do about 37.5-40 miles weekly. I believe that this show is absolutely perfect for that kind of workout. Not to mention, in my opinion, they're some of my most stylish shoes iv'ed owned. I love how they look and so do all of my running mates. All in all i would highly recommend these to any runner of any status.

So I have a slightly wider foot then normal and this mid foot area on the edge stretches with my foot perfectly. Super light shoe and at first look of the edge you might think that landing pad in the back is nuts but it definitely serves a purpose and feels amazing downhill. Right out of the box I hit 3 miles and it was a very comfortable ride. Not too firm but also not full of cushion either. This is definitely a must buy runner!!

40yo male, 6'0" 160lbs (rounding up on both), 40-50mpw, size 10.5. I had an easy first run in these, and then the next time out was 12mi with 3x2mi mixed in. This shoe was great on both runs. It's soft in the heel but firm in the front, allowing you to downshift really easily. Since then I've done a fast 4k, steady tempo, and two easy runs. It feels at home in all of these runs. You can bomb on the downhills, just like a Clifton, but it lifts off much more responsively. At 9.25oz, it's lighter than the Clifton 5 and 6 as well. Tie it once and you're off, good hold on the upper. I think it's a shoe that's going to be very popular, especially in that color scheme. Enjoy.

Just received my Clifton Edge and it's AMAZING. On average, I run about 35 miles/week. The best thing about it, is that it's the only shoe that felt super comfortable and "broken-in" right out of the box. It felt just right. I run on gravel and concrete and it responded well on both. I strike mostly on my heel and the extra padding in the back is perfect for this type of impact. Overall, it's the best shoe I've owned so far. Highly recommend it.

Love the comfort and stability post ankle surgery. Not a fan of how quickly tread/groves wear off bottom.

This is a great lightweight daily runner with great color combos. The only problem I have is the wide soles that I continually trip or clip with each stride I make. The side of the shoe is a little narrow and pinches during longer runs.

I like my Hokas but, I feel like the sole wore out quickly, especially for the price. They are comfortable.

Not a bad shoe, yet the heel set up is pretty weird. I would 100% try them on before you purchase. The Bondi is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. These are not.

The sole of the shoes has small indentations which imbed small rocks or tiny pebbles. These rocks break our tiled floors. I find these rocks to be mildly annoying, otherwise the shoes are the best shoes on the market.

Great looking shoe. Switched to Hokas a year ago and have been happy with them with the exception of this pair. I like the look of them and the length is good but they fit very narrow for me. Unfortunately I had to send them back. Will order a different pair in the near future. Great customer service from Zappos!

Was in search of new running shoes for marathon training, and had a dozen friends recommend Hoka to me. I loved the feel and look of the shoe, but it ran a bit large. I'm normally a 10.5 or 11 for all shoes, and I decided to get a 10.5 to play it safe (read reviews saying to up half a size, I do not recommend this). The 10.5 I got feel more like an 11.5. Even though they have way too much extra space for me, the shipping took a while and I decided to just keep them and train anyway, and honestly I got used to them being big. I still recommend buying them, just maybe half a size down.

I run 5 to 7 days a week; anywhere from 3 to 8 miles a day. I got my first Hoka shoes, Clifton 7, in March '21. They worked very well for me, retired them at 500mi, still in light walking use. I got a pair of Clifton 8s in late June '21. Again, they worked very well for; took them to 630 miles before relegating them to lawn mower duty. So I went to buy 2 pairs to Clifton 8s, to alternate between runs, in early October '21. Got tempted into Clifton Edge. Comparing the Clifton Edge vs Clifton; seemed like Edge would be 'better' for someone whom is mostly a heal striker; especially on longer gradual down hills. For me, these fit differently than normal Cliftons (ordered direct, and just used my Clifton sizing) . The regular versions, I just stepped into and they felt well and broken in after the 2nd or 3rd run. But after 10+ runs the Edges seem slightly narrower and I get a small bit of binding on right foot. Also the heel geometry is different and I've been suffering from heal blisters since running in the Edges (NOTE: I wear Feeture ultra-lite socks; same as with Clifton 8s). Heal blisters are not new to me; except for the Clifton 8s, I almost always get a few days of them with various Nikes, Asics, etc (interestingly not with Altra Torins). So far with the Clifton Edge's, things are not fading away (yet). As for my runs in the Edges; they are doing well and similar Clifton's, except for the blister problems -- which I hope will dissipate after few more runs. They seem like a solid shoe and I feel like in another couple weeks I am gonna love them as much as the Clifton 8s. At moment, I don't think I am getting anything more out of the Edge's and would probably be happy with Clifton 8s - ymmv. Naively, I thought fitment with-in the Clifton family would be the same; in this case, for me, they are not. I suggest going to a running store and testing them out, side by side. HTH

I run 20-25 mi/week. I picked these using the shoe finder tool. They're great. Only issue is I think they might run a little bigger than Brooks.

Larger size then other Hoka product. Only reason for 4 stars is that the fit is larger.
