I wanted to like them when I put them on and walked around a bit, they felt like I was wearing wooden block shoes. However that being said, it's purely preference. Some like this feel, others like myself don't. Overall the shoe seemed fine, just not for me.

I'll start with what I liked. I loved this upper, it is so light, and the laces have a bit of stretch, allowing me to get the perfect lockdown. On the other hand, I kinda hated the midsole. It feels hard and unyielding until you get into faster paces. It's really light, but also really stiff. It takes about a 20 mile break-in period until the shoe feels good enough to run in. I wouldn't get this as a daily trainer, but maybe as a tempo shoe....Well, it lives up to it's name.

Solid shoe that I purchased on sale. I use it exclusively for tempo runs and intervals. Biggest issue is the tongue tends to slide down during harder efforts.

I was excited to try these shoes as an upgrade to my revel 4's. The new revels changed the drop from 10mm to 12mm, while these had the same drop. The first thing I noticed was how narrow the shoes were. I put them on and immediately my feet felt cramped. I did my 10 mile run and it was a big struggle. Nothing felt right. The one positive I would say are the laces. I enjoyed how they were stretchy and stayed tied (in a single knot) the whole time.

These are a really narrow shoe. I contemplated returning them for this reason.

I enjoy the Tempo if I'm on a short to medium distance run. It's very light and quick, but I don't feel like it has quite enough cushion or structure to use it for a run longer than 6-7 miles. I feel like it falls a little low on the achilles and the laces on these are way too long. The Ghost by comparison is a hair short IMO. Good shoe for fast 5ks but I don't love it as a daily trainer.

Wish Brooks had their racers in wide sizes. While not the narrowest I've had, these could be wider for my wide feet. These are light, but not quite ultralight at about 7.8oz. Minimal cushion and support, but that's the target customer a lightweight trainer/racer rather a plush, sink in, set your pace and run 10 miles. The laces are stretchy which make them too long and possibly adjust midway through runs. Not difficult to replace, but annoying. Not comfortable enough to run long distances these are more for short to mid tempos, and races up to half marathons. The tongue while the minimal type, doesn't fold over as much as I feared, but I really dislike non padded tongues, can't use up that much weight to have something protective.

The shoes are light weight for running. I was wearing them on vacation for my walking shoes. For several days, my calves started to hurt. I think I will have to return them.

First time trying these. Long time Brooks runner. I've done ultras in Glycerin and Adrenaline, do speed work in Launch. Anyhow, these were on sale. I've run 4-8 miles on these on the road. They feel so cheap. The sole is hard. The upper is rigid and can quite make them fit right without tying too tight. Maybe I'd stick to 5 mile quick runs. But, I'll swap them for something that works.

Super light and flexible shoe. Inner sole of shoe feels detached from side walls. Will have to get a few more runs to determine if this bothers me too much.

I liked these shoes a lot because they were super light and had good airflow. The right shoe, however, rubbed right into my ankle bone and caused a lot of discomfort. The left shoe did not have this issue so i am not sure if these were a factory defect or something because I had tried these shoes on at a store and did not have that issue.

The weight is perfect. I ran a 10K and my feet started hurting due to the padding. I enjoy the Ghost. I feel these don't have enough support for long distance runs. Anything under 4 miles is fine.

Size I believe to be smaller than the Launch. After three miles my left foot hurts every time. Not sure if I would spend the money to try a bigger size. So disappointed since I'm looking for a shoe to replace my last go to

Got this for my teen who runs cross country. After running in them for 4 days, he said they didn't feel comfortable, and were a bit narrow, so I ended up returning them.

Based on the brand and price I expected so much. These felt like running in a casual fashion sneaker and not a next-level running sneaker.

Good cushion, but like the Ghost 13 better. On long runs not well suited as you need to run fast in these shoes.
