These shoes are very light, and fit like a glove. If you liked the Pure Cadence, you'll like these. My one knock against them is they're a bit pricey.

I am not a huge runner, but run for 30 minutes three times weekly. Over the first four runs in this shoe, I cut 46 seconds off my best average mile, which is pretty amazing. I'd give it a 5, but in the heal my foot tends to feel like it's sliding a bit toward the center of my gait and even tightening the laces doesn't seem to help as much as I'd like. Generally a great shoe, but just feels a smidge unstable because of that heal slide.

Great shoe. I'd been running in Nike React shoes and wanted to try something new for a few reasons: 1) Boredom, 2) Brand displeasure (Nike are kind of unpleasant as a company) and 3) The softness of the foam had begun to make me feel sluggish. While there was an adjustment to the slightly firmer foam (*very* slightly firmer), they break in nicely and soften just a bit after 50 miles or so, and still feel so much faster than any of the softer shoes I'd become accustomed to. I'm hesitant to paint with broad strokes, but it's *probably* not a great beginner shoe. I'm a 34 y/o man, and I will say that I can't "get away" with the same lazy-but-necessary plodding I could every now and again with a pillow-soft, supportive shoe when I first started running a few years ago. That said, I'll take the Hyperion any day now. It keeps me focused on my form and just means I've got to spend a few minutes on a proper warm up and cool down. I love it and I'll be buying my next pair soon.

Lite shoe that feels has just the right balance of feel and comfort. One star off because stray rocks tend to punch right through the cushion and gouge you. A thin carbon plate might help with that...

Good but narrow would be the perfect fit if the shoe were wider in the toe box ever so slightly

I love this shoe. I use it in my rotation with the Ghost. It is almost perfect with only one strong recommendation. The outside of the heal curves up. I would much prefer that it be flat like the Ghost. That would prevent my tendency to supinate. Maybe have a sister shoe, the Tempo-S. Otherwise it works so well. It is a game changer. Both The upper and midsole are special!

Very light weight running shoes. My feet feel pretty good during my runs.

Shoe feels great, light, nice cushioning, comfortable upper BUT it runs very narrow. I even bought a men's shoe and the width was still tight in the forefoot and I normally wear a women's B width.

I've had these shoes for a few months and have used sporadically. As a light weight trainer, it took some getting used to with having less fabric/material around the foot. Over time it has grown on me. I like having less weight and finding the feel of the road and trail more comfortable and even appealing. I wouldn't use for everyday use, but whenever I want to go on a faster more aggressive training run, I am finding myself reaching for these over my regular trainers.

Solid fit and responsive ride are the best way to describe this shoe. As with everything it comes down to preference. This shoe checks a lot of boxes for me and I'm happy with the decision to purchase.

Best Brooks running shoe that I have had. Light, responsive, true to size. My only complaint is in the durability of the material in the back of the heel. I have three pairs of Tempo's and all three have had this material tear within 25 miles run.

At first I was a little nervous when running in the Tempo as it did not feel as cushioned as I thought it would. However the responsive feel quickly made the experience a good one. Definitely a shoe that is light, responsive and will be used for faster workouts.

Great shoe for tempo runs with one exception. I first got this shoe with the original limited release, so it was still quite cold out for my runs. I only even did a few runs in it early on because it was so hard I could really feel the impact, which was not at all what I was hoping for out of this shoe. Decided to do an indoor run with it and after a couple miles I finally felt what everyone was talking about with this shoe. Put it up for awhile and waited until it warmed up a bit, now I have put some miles in on them. They still take a mile or so to really hit get the foam absorbing the impact and still giving you that bounce. The upper o this shoe is awesome, so once the shoe is a couple miles into a run it is really fun to run in.

I love these shoes. I bought them in preparation for my 2nd marathon but Covid changed that. They are a great speed work shoe. They fit well and resemble the feel of other shoes (I've worn brooks ghost/adrenaline GTS for 10 years) the biggest downside is the laces lighten up due to the stretchier material. Would highly recommend this shoe as a rotation shoe for speed work.

Perhaps just a bit more cushion in the sole for longer runs. But overall these are the best running shoes I've ever owned. Light and fast with just enough support.

Great ride. Really well balanced between cushion and responsiveness. Seeing some early wear and tear on the ankle collar. Hate the laces. Really lightweight and breathable. Still an overall fantastic shoe - would recommend to just about anyone.

The shoe overall is amazing- the only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is the laces. They are too stretchy and I can't get the shoe to my desired tightness. Otherwise I will definitely buy this shoe again when this pair is trashed.

Overall, a great shoe for daily runs. So much cushion yet responsive. Toe box is a bit too narrow for me, but now after 75+ miles it seems to have stretched out. Wish for more color options. Hope they integrate this sole material into future shoes (Pureflow8 please).
