I used these shows to go running twice a week for about 1 hr each and the right one already has a hole in the lining after only one month! The left one looks like it will develop the same hole soon. The last version of this Brooks shoe lasted me almost a year. Very disappointing drop in quality.

The heel of this shoe is awful. There is no support in there at all. My feet just sink off to the side because there is no support. I own several of the adrenaline’s, and this has never happened before. They hurt my feet and my back. It’s awful

Just opened the box. The shoes have been very worn! And looks like quite a few time! Even some dirt in the soles! What a disgrace that no one checked these before going out. And they weren't even in the original Brooks box - so obviously were worn enough to have not have come back in the original box! Why were these released again and at the cost of $130!!! Just terrible.

I have been purchasing the Brooks adrenaline for a couple of years now… why o why did they have to change the shoe?! This is what annoys me with running shoes…the manufacturer thinks that by changing the model with each version it is better than the last which is the furthest thing from what us runners need! We want consistency, comfort, and a stylish running sneaker that will reduce the shock on your joints all the while providing a spring in your step to help keep your pace. That being said, this new version of the adrenaline does none of that! It doesn’t even come close to the cushion of the prior models and felt like I was slapping pavement with each step! If I could return these now that I’ve used them I would. Next purchase of running shoes will be through roadrunner sports at least there I can return even after I’ve used the shoes! Don’t waste your money on these. I’ve lost my faith in Brooks and will try another brand… oh well.

I was hoping that this years version would be better than last years. These past 2 years of adrenaline have been terrible. I have worn the brooks adrenaline for at least 10 years. Honestly thinking about moving on to a different brand or at least a diff style. The shoe has become much more narrow, less cushion, less arch. Just in general a bad shoe. Feel like the last 2 years I have wasted close to $300 on subpar shoes.

I have been a loyal customer for the adrenaline line since 2017. Similar to the other reviewers, I agree that this model does not offer as much support. I bought my first pair in March, 2 months postpartum and I noticed that my feet were hurting and the shoe felt like it was breaking down quicker. I thought it was because I gained weight so I bought another pair several months later and the same problem. I actually put on my old 20s and noticed a big difference in level of support. Please bring back older models.

I have had 6 pairs of the adrenaline sneakers, this model is horrible. First the laces do not stay tied which become dangerous when running especially on a treadmill. Secondly I ended up with plantar fasciitis! Hurts so bad! And thirdly, they are getting holes in the fabric already! Don?t know what u did Brooks but my feet are not happy. Changing sneakers!

Can’t believe I spent $129 on these squeaky, poorly-made shoes. Brooks used to be my go-to for my pronated ankles and plantar fasciitis. I can’t even wear these for a neighborhood walk, much less a run. No support. My feet actively hurt while wearing them. This is the second pair of Brooks that are squeaky too (read: cheap). I’m guessing now that Brooks has become mainstream, they are speeding up production and taking short cuts but maintaining their price point.

The back had less structure than the 20 and 19s. The back of my upper heels kept getting scraped up from the lack a smooth transition from the front to back heel. Overall, it just didn't feel as structured as all of the other adrenaline's I've purchased (which would be a lot).

Please fix whatever you changed this year! I have been running in Adrenalines since the first year you made them. This is one of those years where you changed something and they immediately feel bad when I put them on out of the box instead of that feeling of ?omg thank god for new running shoes!? The arch is high and hard and hurts the bottom on my feet. The ankles come up higher and rub on my ankle bones, making them sore. I?m scouring the Internet for the gts 20s, because I cannot wear these! Please reverse whatever you did to the 21s! Sincerely, a devoted brooks adrenaline runner

Similar to a lot of the other reviews--- I've been running in the Adrenalines for years and the 21 model is awful. Every single time I try to give this pair another shot, I end up with the worst blisters on the back of my heel. Absolutely no cushion there. These shoes make me bleed every time I give them another shot. Constantly having to resort back to my old, worn down 20's to give my heels a break. Hoping the 22 model will come out soon and address these issues because I love my Brooks but hate this 21 model.

Orthotist, recommended discontinue the Ghost and buy the Ariel, Adrenaline or Addiction for heel and side support with orthotics. Limited attractive material and sole colors and based on customer comments, I purchased adrenaline GTS 21. I feel the toe box is too narrow when compared to that of the ghost, top of the tongue too narrow with strange shape, the top portion does not cross the top of the foot and extend sufficiently beyond the collar. At this time I will not purchase of the recommended shoes unless changes are made.

I?ve used this particular design of brooks for years and loved them but the 21 is a waste of money. I purchased two pairs so far this year the heels of both have gone out way before the life of the shoe, I?m a light causal runner.

I loved the adrenaline 20s so I bought a pair of 21s. The heel has worn through and they didn?t even last 6 months. I can?t even wear them without getting a blister. Very disappointed in the new design. I?m a RN so I am on my feet all day.

These shoes were sent to me clearly used. I know you have free returns but what a hassle and makes me hesitant to buy more from you if you send clearly used shoes.

I've been running for 47 years and the shoe I just received (ocean/black/nightlife) is the worst shoe I've ever purchased. I purchased my previous pair (ombre/lavender/metallic)about 6 months ago and they're perfect!! What happened?? I've been wearing the Adrenaline for as long as I can remember so I have many years of experience. The new shoe is shorter, narrower, and painfully rubs my ankles. It's not a design issue, but a manufacturing issue. Shoes shouldn't change that much from color to color. I don't want to change brands or styles at this point in my life.....

I am new to Brooks in the last few years and decided to get a new pair. I love the color and comfort of this shoe, but with two weeks, the bottom started coming off. These are not my every day tennis shoe. I mainly wear them to walk and do cardio. I have had this pair for exactly a month and they look awful. I’m so bummed about the durability.

Was fitted for these shoes. While they are great for PF, the ankle problems are just a troubling. Inner ankle pain and pain on the top of ankle. I'm running a marathon in 57 days and I am at a loss what I am supposed to do for a shoe. I've tried the ariels which tightened up my calf for 2 weeks and the addictions were too hard to run in. Feeling so miserable right now.

There is absolutely no support. I bought 2 of them because they are comfortable but the outer sides wore down and legs and knees hurt from these.

I have been running for 28 years, the past 20 almost exclusively in Brooks, and primarily the Adrenaline GTS. This is THE WORST SHOE that I've ever run in. I have tried running in these shoes 7 times now and each time I get hot spots or even blisters within 2 miles. The shoe has no padding around the heel cup so that the lateral aspect and even the medial aspect dig into the heel bones. Same with the posterior aspect of the heel cup, which actually curves forward to rub against the Achilles every time you take a stride! No amount of lacing changes or sock adjustments help. VERY disappointing shoe.
