Fits well but not nearly enough arch support for a high arch.

I have been waiting for a GTS similar to the Adrenaline GTS 14 for years. I have a narrow heel, and bunions, and have tried Adrenalines every year since 2014, with no luck. I even resorted to buying used (!) GTS 2014 on Ebay. I've run in these 21's for a month now, and they are the closest thing yet to the GTS 14's. Better motion control and stability than more recent versions. I do agree with the laces digging into ankles a bit, and I wish they had a bit more arch support but overall a very good shoe.

Much better than the 2020, which has thus far been the least comfortable of the GTS shoes. The 2020 was too wide at the anterior portion and I lost support for the top part of my foot within a couple of months, the heel and arch were still comfortable. This 21 model is not as wide as that one and so far still supporting the top of my foot after 1 month. These are still the most comfortable shoes on the market for this 25+ year RN with osteoarthritis of the feet and history of plantar fasciitis. I will say that prior years such as 17, 18 were much more comfortable for me. They were sturdier and kept my foot from pronating. Both 20 and 21 are more lightweight. Yes I have tried other Brooks models and the heel/arch are just far better on the GTS if you have a high arch.

This is my third pair of Adrenalines over about six years, and the updates have been noticable with each pair. These are my favorites so far. My only complaint is that I expected more arch support based on past models, and these feel pretty flat to me.

This running show is exactly what I was looking for. Great impact absorption and good support for moderate pronation. I run 6-8 miles 3-4 times a week and alternate the Adrenaline with my other lighter weight running shoe to give my joints a break. It is a heavier shoe and I have noticed it slows my run time by about 20 seconds per mile.

Love the color, love the fit. Don?t like the tongue, pokes front of my ankle. Been wearing Brooks exclusively for 15 yrs & this is my 1st review. Sorry it?s to knock only thing I?ve ever not liked about Brooks shoes.

Shoes were very comfortable, but fit like clown shoes. The toe box was incredibly spacious, too spacious. It honestly looked as if I was wearing men's shoes that we're two sizes too large. I returned them. Would recommend ordering a size down.

I am a fan of Brooks Running shoes and although this pair is replacing another and there is always a transitional period for comfort and breaking in. I?m finding this particular pair a bit stiffer and less flexible. I?m hoping it will settle in sooner than later so I can enjoy a shoe I?ve always associated with comfort.

I like the stability and cushion. It also feels lighter and sturdier than the previous 19. However, I also feel that my toes rest higher than my heel on the shoe making the run a little different, not sure I like it very much. Adrenaline 19 had the perfect balance from toe to heel making the run perfect. 21 is not bad but 19 felt much better.

I like Brooks for the comfort. But, like others have said, I am tired of gray. I went ahead and ordered another pair but unless there are some new color options I am going to find another brand next time I need a new pair. They are great shoes and I would love to keep wearing them but they are boring and I am 76 so not a kid. Please listen to your customers.
I'd also recommend:

I Have worn Brooks for years and love them. I switched to Adrenaline GTS (from Ravenna) several years ago with my last pair being GTS19. I purposely waited for the 21 as I heard there were issues with the 20. I never have to break them in and are comfortable from day one. I am not am not a runner but am active with cross training, Zumba and other fitness activities. I have balance issues and these stabilize my foot and keep me straight. With super cushioning and a wide toe box make this a great shoe for cross training. The only issue so far I have with my GTS Adrenaline21 is that there is no toe reinforcement that the GTS19 have. It?s only been several weeks and you can already see a big toe imprint where it is stretching out. I hope the fabric doesn?t wear too thin and tear in that area. I am also having an issue with the left ankle side rail support. It digs in to my foot just below my ankle bone. I have been cushioning with cotton pads hoping it stretches out. I don?t know if this is common or if somehow a defect in this one pair. I have considered returning them for replacement. The right foot side rails do not dig in. If anyone else has had this issue and knows of a fix, I would like to know. I welcome a response from Brooks as well. Because of these issues, I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars

I am not a runner. I actually purchased these shoes for the support they provide hoping that they give me the support I need every day. They feel good, support my feet so the pronation isn?t affecting how I walk and I?m happy. I love the color too. Except, white gets a little dirty easily.

I truly recommend these running shoes. I went on my first run last weekend. I was able to run for over 6 miles. The support is great. Shoes would benefit from a little more couching in the ball of foot. But amazing for outdoor running!!

These are growing on me. They started out really hard but with a few days of breaking in are starting to get really comfortable. They fit really well like all Brooks shoes do for me. The cushioning and support feel good. They seem like a decent every day shoe but they do need 2-4 days of break in time before they get comfortable.

I love the Adrenalin and have been wearing it for several years. I only gave 4 stars because they do not seem to carry the good colours in wide width shoes. There is a very limited selection. I am mostly a walker and not a run/jogger anymore, but this one still seems best for everyday and exercise.

I was replacing my worn out Asics Gel Kayano 25s which I loved, but whose successor 26 was cut short on size and comfort. These Brooks are a very comfy fit, look good and, at a solid $30 or more savings over my former buy. Bought these based on a running store assessment of my feet and gait coupled with a friend's recommendation. So far, I'm very pleased with Brooks.

I love the adrenaline gts and have worn them for years. This version felt a little narrow in the toe box for a wide width than the past versions. Love the smaller tongue. And it feel like there’s more cushion in the ball of the foot than in the past.

These shoes feel wonderful on my feet.. The biggest issue with them that I do not like is the color..They get so dirty and there is no hiding the dirt.

I love my GTS 21 sneakers and I know this is picky but they aren't as comfortable at the end of the day as they were in the beginning. No rubbing or anything just uncomfortable. I'm sure I'll buy another pair.

I want to like these runners but ..... they aren't Glycerin 18's which I would have ordered again but my size and color options were not available. Upon receiving I wondered if I was going to need to exchange after my left foot went numb about 2 miles out. After mucking about with the laces I was able to adjust but that was a first. I prefer a shoe with more forefoot padding, while this shoe has some the 18''s feel better on my feet. Working in the garden today I put on my old 18's an it was apparent that I need to stay with a shoe design more like the 18's.

I have never run in anything other than Adrenalines. I've had probably near to 12 pairs, dating back to the GTS 11 I think. I've even got my husband wearing them as everyday shoes now and he loves them. While they're almost always the best shoe around, I've noticed that a couple model years were so different that they were unwearable (for me). The GTS16 destroyed my knees and ruined my running momentum for over a year (I must have gotten a bad pair- they were brand new so I thought there was no way my shoes were causing the knee issues). I just purchased a pair of 20s and will be returning them today. The wide width in the size I have always ordered is ridiculously tight across the widest part of my foot, so I haven't even taken them out for a run. I hope the 21s are better because I want to continue to trust Brooks to provide my feet with great support and keep me running. To reflect what others have said- I would love to see more color in the collections. The amount of combinations is excessive, but four or five nice, colorful options would be great. Also, it would be great if those of us with wide/extra wide feet didn't have to settle for the ugliest version (hello, granny shoes!). Overall, I love these shoes and I wish I could afford to stockpile when I find a great model year, because they seem to have peaks and valleys.

It runs a bit long. I like the support, but the narrow shaped tongue has been a little problematic for me. It allows the laces to dig into the top of my foot. This will probably get better with more use. I appreciate being able to get my uncommon size- 13AA.

I have had many, many pairs of Adrenaline?s but can you PLEASE come up with better colors?! Gray is so boring an ugly. The fast few years of Adrenaline?s have been really frumpy. Thank you.
