So I run with these bad boys pretty much everyday. I use them for both road and trail running. One of the only shoes I have ever bought where I am guaranteed 500+ miles out of a single pair. I average 50 mile weeks throughout the year and peak at 80-90 mile weeks (during training cycles). My only "runners complaint" with the shoes is with the tongue, doesn't fit as snug as I'd like. I just use a runners' knot and that seems to do the trick quite well. Great shoes!

I started getting heel pain from being on my feet all day, not from over pronating, so I decided to move towards a more cushioned, neutral shoe during my runs. It definitely helped with my heel pain and allowed me to keep running, albeit at a slower pace. I learned that I actually like the more cushioned feel underfoot for most of my runs. The sizing was spot on for me and cradles my foot really well from ankle to toes. I will definitely continue to use these as my daily runner and mix in the Ravennas (Launch GTS) for faster, shorter runs once my foot is better.

This is my second pair of ghost 13s and both of them have had the toebox partially collapse. I?ve been wearing Brooks for over five years so I know they can make good shoes, these just don?t fit the bill.

The 12s were built for hundreds upon hundreds of miles, but the longevity of the 13s has not lived up. I had strange tears in the toe box upper after just 200 miles - I've never had a tear in that place before. The sole is also wearing out much more quickly. I personally dislike the redesigned tongue and the heel cushioning - beware of this version of the Ghost if you have Haglund's, though the 12s were fine for me. The changes I've noticed have been downgrades, but I will stick with the product line as it solves more of my injury problems than it creates.
