Really like the look and feel of the Ghost 13s so far.

I love the Ghost 13! It was actually my second choice so I was a little skeptical it would perform as needed. I was in search of a very cushioned shoe so I was set to try the Glycerine model but what I wanted was not available. I have a condition called metatarsalgia which is pain/inflammation in the balls of feet. The description of the Ghost 13 made me believe this could be the shoe for me as far as cushion and great shock absorbtion. After my first run I was all smiles. I even returned a newly purchased pair of orthopedic shoes because it didn't feel as good as the Ghost 13. I'm looking forward to trying the Glycerine for my next pair. Thank you Brooks!

Not a huge fan to be honest. Loved the 12 as my first pair of brooks and was excited to order the 13s but sadly disappointed, really wanted to love them. Not offering the same support the 12s did feel like they?re poorly made.

Love the extra cushion through mid soul. Took about 20 miles before I felt the overall smooth cushion that is the Ghost series. I put a lot of miles on my previous 12 and will do the same with my 13 series. My only negative is the crazy long shoestrings. They tend to bounce up and touch my ankle area while running causing an itch. Feels like a bug is on my ankle at times. Ha! Overall highly recommend Ghost 13!

I didn't like it. I have been wearing the Ghost for a long time. They changed something that hurts my lower back and knee. I have a hard time finding shoes. I have had 5 knee surgeries, bunion surgery, and flat feet. Past Ghosts have been good for me with my inserts. I need to find a new shoe that will be good for my knees and back.

I received this pair of Ghost 13 shoes free of charge in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the shoes. I started wearing these Ghost 13 neutral shoes July 1, 2020. It is now August 2, 2020. The Ghost series has been my choice of shoe for several years. They are mainly used as a Pickelball concrete court shoe as well as a walking shoe on five-seven mile walks on concrete and asphalt. Pickleball is played seven plus times a week for an hour and one-half to two hours and walking three days per week. Based on this usage, I normally get three-four months with the Ghost series shoe before replacement. The Ghost 13 is comparable to the other Ghost Series shoes. One improvement is the insole appears not to break down as quickly as the prior Ghost series shoes maintaining the soft feel through this 33 day period. The shoe strings are, also, better in that they do not stretch becoming longer and longer to the point you have to double knot. The no break in feature remains consistent with this shoe. The color/design features make them a desirable choice. There are only a couple minor items that appear less desirable in this shoe. The tongue on the left shoe slides to the left exposing my socks on the inner side and the back of the shoe tends to bend inward when putting them on causing one to pull it up to secure it in the proper position. As stated these are minor items to an other wise well constructed shoe. I would recommend this shoe to anyone desiring a well constructed and designed shoe. My wife had trouble finding a shoe that did not hurt her feet and had a bit more width. She tried the Ghost series shoes and has been using the Ghost series ever since without any issues to her feet.

very nice shoe, light weight, however the toe box is not deep or wide enough for my 10.5 2e

I got these for my husband. This is his 3rd or maybe 4th pair of Ghost and he loves them. I am inclined to buy a pair for myself too.

Good shoe, very similar to the 12. Not mentioned in the description for the shoe and the changes is that there were changes to the heel cup making it less padded. In addition, my experience has been that the shoe retains heat less than the 12, but not by a lot.

For me this is the best Ghost yet. The cushioning is outstanding; it's softer and yet more responsive. Great update!

Was excited to try Brooks as I've heard good things, however, I am dissapointed to say the least. The top of the heel is hard. Like there is a plastic spine in the cushion or something, and it digs in to your upper heel/achilies when your ankle articulates which has resulted in some nasty blistering. Literally, pressing my finger on the top of the heel and it feels like there are plastic teeth inside the thin cushioning. The shoe is comforatble around the foot and has good cushioning underfoot. I feel like it would be a good runner if not for the detrimental issue above. Runs a smidge smaller than my other US12s but not so much that its an issue. Praying that I can return these.

I've been a huge fan of the Ghost 12 and I thought it was the perfect shoe for me. The Ghost 13 is just a little bit better if that's possible. The shoe has just the right amount of cushioning and stability. I've been hooked on Brooks shoes for about four years now and they just keep getting better. GO BROOKS!

Just tried out my new Ghost 13. Already a dedicated Ghost wearer but like the 13 even better. The DNA loft throughout the shoe seams to give a better transition throughout the stride when runner. I also use the Ghost 11 when working in my Podiatry clinic but the Ghost 13 have a much better "running" feel in my opinion. Great update!

Got my first ten miles in with the shoe this morning and I'm very impressed. As a mid-foot striker, it definitely feels softer through that part of the shoe. Stability also feels excellent. I wasn't a huge fan of the Ghost 12. This feels more like the Ghost that we previously new, only better.

I got an email from Brooks offering me a chance to review their new Ghost 13 and if I would write an honest review I could keep the shoes for free. What a deal, since I haven?t worn anything but Brooks shoes for the past 11 or 12 years. The one thing Brooks didn?t know is I?m not a runner but I walk for exercise and wear the Brooks shoes in my Physical Therapy clinic where I walk 5000-7000 steps every day. I have now worn the new Ghost 13 for two days. These are really nice shoes and might be my favorite Ghosts yet. The support throughout the shoe is great and you can definitely feel the cushion from heel strike to toe off. The arch support is perfect for a neutral foot. The only negative about this shoe is that at first the toe box seemed a little flatter than on the Ghost 12 and therefore tight across my toes but after wearing the shoes for two days this softened up and now the shoe feels great. I highly recommend the Ghost 13.

I am a heavy runner ( 6ft 211 pound ) I am mainly concerned about my knees and feet Running in ghost 13 was an effortless experience At the end of my day my knees and feet were pain free and after running 5-6 miles a day I felt I could run 10 more In brief the midsole and shoe provides excellent cushion for runner of my size
