I bought these to replace an old pair of Ghost 13s (which I loved, 5 stars for sure), but when I ran in them the first time (and second) I have been disappointed. They seem much tighter than my last pair even though they are the same size. The back has rubbed blisters on my ankles, so I am not sure what the deal is. I have to tape ankles now and hope these break in better.

This is my first 13, I’m usually a model behind and creature of habit. These are super comfortable and could feel the extra space in the toebox. I’ve already taken them on four different runs, and have really enjoyed these shoes.

Fits true to size in my experience. Plastic reinforcement on the heel digs in sometimes, otherwise it's a nice shoe with lots of support.

I was introduced to Hoka shoes a while back and even though I really like Hoka's, I gave these a shot based on other reviews. I am now a bigger fan of the Brooks Ghost shoes. Very comfortable and stylish. I use them as my everyday sneaker and for long days and active days...basically whenever I can.

Because I have very narrow feet, I’ve been limited to buying New Balance running shoes. These Brooks shoes are equal in fit and quality to my last pair of New Balance, and $30 cheaper!

I wear size 9 in regular shoes and a 10 in Brooks running shoes. These shoes looked smaller than my Ghost 11s and felt much narrower. Unfortunately, I'll have to return them for a wider size.

Hoping this would work out but runs too narrow.

These seemed like good shoes. They were listed as "orthotic friendly" by Zappos but sadly they didn't work with mine. After about an hour my feet started going numb. Leaving all that out I actually liked them. No hard feelings.

Great shoes. Love the Ghost line. They have a wide toe box. Very comfortable and the available colors are very helpful.

Arch was very wrong. too high and in the wrong place of the foot

Shows were more narrow then the last two pairs I purchased a year ago

It was a B-day gift and he could not believe how light they felt and he did not take them off once he tried them on! He was pleased!!

(My husband) has bunions and a hammer toe. He needs to get his feet fixed. That being said, he asked me to purchase a second pair of these shoes because they are the only shoe he can wear without major pain. (He is never painless) . We walk a ton and hike some. The heathered colors look better than the one color version. The blue version are the most stylish. (Black is too flat…)

I really wanted these to fit like the others I bought but they were narrow so I tried to return for a EE but they were out of stock on all the colors I wanted. I hope they haven’t started going narrow like so many other brands.

I am a long time Ghost wearer but not a runner. I have flat feet and wear a women’s 9 wide. I think my old ones lost so much cushion that they started giving me plantar fasciitis. I tried Hoka and Adrenaline and Dyad cause the woman’s Ghost 13 and 14 wides were too narrow. I decided to try men’s Ghost in a 7.5 wide (equivalent to a woman’s 9 extra wide) and they were the winner. The only option was gray and black so I might add cute laces to feminize them a bit. I still have the fasciitis but it’s getting better daily.

Good shoe. Brooks never disappoints. I originally ordered the normal D width of this shoe after being mostly a new balance fan after all these years. (It’s almost impossible to find a black leather shoe these days, but these are as close as I could find given the slow production market during covid). Initially I had trouble with the fit of the D width shoe (size 10) and needed to exchange and send back the previous shoe. Zappos customer service was a dream and had a new pair sent out to me before I knew it and in time for an event I needed a few days later. I tend to like a tighter fit shoe with a good midsole and cushioning. As soon as I took the correct size out of the box and put on my foot I could feel the difference and they fit like a glove; smooth as could be. I would recommend the wider size and true to size fit if you have questions about size. After walking around I had minimal pains, but that’s partially my fault since I like my shoe a bit tighter. I wore them around the house for a bit and the shoe is very bouncy, smooth and cusiony. I can’t wait to wear them for my event and to run a few miles! Having a good shoe makes a world of difference and I have faith that’s what these are!!! Great work Zappos! Will come back for sure!

Just right

The fit is perfect. The toe box is just right. I did three miles on a treadmill today. No problems at all. A lightweight shoe that looks great. This is my first pair of Brooks shoes. They are at the top of my shoe list. I got a great deal on the Ghost 13. Thanks Zappos. I will see you again soon. Michael D.

Bought these for my husband. Comfortable support BUT….The back of the shoes stuck up high on both ankles and rubbed blisters on both ankles whenever he wore them. Black trim started peeling off almost immediately. Just seems like they are cheaply made. Within just three months of walking and wearing the house, they are coming apart. We would never buy Brooks again for him. We should have returned them but he took a while to start wearing then then missed 30 day trial.

These are excellent walking shoes.
