They felt good enough but they were about one size larger than my usual size 14. I’ll exchange them.

the mens' size 8 was too large, not wide enough and the 7 is a good length but too narrow. Nice boot, I wanted them to fit well!

I loved the look of these boots but they were much, much too tight around the ankles, even though once I had them on the foot size was plenty roomy. I had to send them back, unwearable.

These boots felt really comfortable on my feet and easy to put on. However, the boot shaft was too high and rubbed on the lower part of the shin when walking.

These were flawed so are being returned. When I put the right boot on, something was poking the inside of my arch. It seems like the insole wasn't smoothed out when it was inserted and a small fold had stiffened and irritated my foot - even with a sock on. I tried several times to smooth the insole out and try again, but to no avail. There was no "flawed" option under "reason for return", so I hope this pair isn't shipped to someone else. I have this same pair in brown and they are my most comfortable shoe.

The boots fit well, but the shaft was very stiff and it pressed into my shin, making it painful to walk. I love the look, but did not work for me. I had to return them.

Unfortunately I had to return them. They were rubbing on my ankles. I will try a different style. I loved the look and my feet felt great but I'm not sure if the boots would loosen around the ankles in time.

These shoes are super cute but SO TOUGH to put on and take off. The throat of the boot is very small, and the elastic on the sides doesn’t have much give, so getting these on and off is rough. I ordered a size larger than needed, and while the shoe part is very roomy/allows for thick socks, the ankle is still very tight. The top opening also digs into the front of the shin, so long socks are needed! I ordered a women’s 6, for context.

These boots are huge. They feel more than a size larger than they're supposed to be.

WAY TOO WIDE!! They look visibly silly on my medium width feet. So disappointed:-(

These looked and felt like a full size larger. I liked them otherwise and will return and reorder the smaller size.

Nice and roomy in the width and the toe box, but very tight at the very top. If I had skinnier legs, it would be perfect. But, I need to return these. Will be checking if Zappos carries Dr. Scholl's.

These are beautifully made boots and I really wanted to like them. They ran a bit small in length, and I had measured large. The width from side to side on the foot was far too wide. The width from sole to top of the foot was very narrow, and the ankle was extremely narrow. I do not have wide feet or thick ankles, and I have narrow feet (from sole to top of the foot), and I could barely get them on. It's a pity, because I really did want to like them. There was virtually no arch support either, which was a disappointment as previous pairs of DMs that I've owned have had great arch support. Due to the extreme tightness on the ankle, I am having to return these.

Wrong size

The size was spot on once I got my foot in the show. The problem, like other reviewers have commented, is that they're really snug, for me they hugged my leg just above the ankle, and I know that with all the walking I plan to do in these, they will chafe my leg. I wish they were a tad looser around that area. Socks won't help me. Otherwise, in the foot, they feel comfortable although I'd probably add an orthotic. They do run big. I normally wear a size 7.5/8 and sized down to a 7. I have to return them, sadly.

I received a used pair of boots

I wear a women's 10wide or a men's 8.5 regular so I ordered unisex 9/10. The foot was really wide and also bigger than my normal size. However the ankle part was too tight and I have normal size ankles/shins. Also the bit of leather at the front of shin seemed like it was rolled in a bit at the stitchline and would have rubbed badly so I returned them. There's another version of the same boot with a Sherpa lining which might be ok. I think it was made the same as the one with the lining which is fairly thick. I would not get this boot unless you want the one with the Sherpa lining.

I love Docs but not these, even though I wanted to. They were hard to get on and off and not comfortable at all. I returned them
