I read lots of reviews before ordering these boots & that made sizing successful. I’m usually a 7.5 or 8. Ordered a 7 based on reviews & they fit perfectly. They are a little snug around the ankle, but I think they’ll loosen up a bit with wear. I’d rather they be a bit snug vs. too loose. They are such good looking boots! I’m new to Docs & I’m not ready for anything too shiny or detailed just yet. This leather is beautiful; smooth & rich with a subtle sheen. Can’t wait to wear them this winter!

I have wide feet and a high arch and have a very hard time finding boots I can walk miles in, but these are perfect!!! Even have room for my favorite Smartwool socks!

Loved these Embury boots! Pull on/off style. Has slightly stiff and narrow ankle area at first until shoe is broken in. Firm in all the right places. Comfort better than any other boots I've tried. Love Dr Martens for the excellent long lasting quality!

I LOVE how these look but they are huge. I'm a 7.5/8 and this eight felt like an 8.5 or 9. I sadly had to return them and they didn't have a 7 to try. Such a bummer because they are awesome boots.

I guess "7 US" for this brand is really 38 European. I needed 37 European, even though I usually wear 7 US in boots. BUMMER. Really cute style.

Me: 75yo F. These are/were my first Doc Martins, I love the concept (pull-on), and the style (simple, funky), but they are a little too much boot for me (bulky) and although I was able to get them on with some effort (elastic is very tight, ankle is very narrow), I got a charlie horse trying to take them off. A younger, more fit person probably wouldn't have the problem to same degree. Returning.

These are super cute, but too big and clunky for me. They did fit, but the shoe is wide and too roomy without a thick sock, and I would prefer these for summer, not winter. Great value for the price, though!

I love how these boots fit and they look cool. However they run a size too big. Foot is loose inside, and they look like clown shoes. I usually wear 8.5 shoe, and ordered Women's size 8, but should have paid attention to the size guide based on length of foot. I have to return and get a size 7. Easy to put on with the pull tab in the back.

I bought 3 pairs of Doc Martens and I honestly hate how they don’t have half sizes b/c none fit well. I bought size 5 and 6 (usually I’m 6.5 in women) but 6 was too big and 5 was too small. This specific shoe was extremely wide in the front which was a little strange. If you have narrow feet I don’t recommend. Also the calf area is a little tight but not bad. I did like the small platform but just the sizing is bad.

Love these boots! Probably the first time I didn't have to wear Docs for weeks to break them in. I walked around all day without any issues. Very comfy!

These are the best boots in the world. Built like a army tank. Just every one that buys doc martens, get 1 size bigger. If you are a US mens 10, get size 11. Jordans are the same. Lady's get 1 size up also. Anyway, these boots are the best!!!

Fit is perfect. These are great boots. I’m so glad I go them. I only wish I hadn’t waited so long!

These fit exactly as I wanted. I typically wear a US Mens 9.5 in sneakers (Nike, Vans, etc.), and the size 9 fit perfectly.

I started wearing Doc Martens back in the late 80's, and I have always loved them. I've had this pair for a few years and they are my favorite! I look forward to fall and winter just so I can wear them. I have several issues with pain in my feet, and have to be selective with my footwear, and these work. I prefer the pull-on style these days, it's a cleaner look, and there is no pressure on the top of my foot where I have some nerve damage. I put cushioned inserts in for extra comfort. I normally wear a women's size 9 in Brooks sneakers (which is what I wear most often, otherwise). I have these in size EU 39, which is men's 7/women's 8, and they are perfect. Since it is a unisex style, I find that there is plenty of room in the toe box, which I love. I tried the women's Leonore style in size 9, and it was way too tight. I just ordered the Embury in the brown and I hope I love them as much as I love the black ones. I just also applied the wonder balsam for the 1st time, because these were getting a little beat up, and now they look great again!

Love these. A bit roomier than expected, but thick socks make up the difference. Great look. Comfortable. Durable. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable boot that I wore all winter long. Great in ice and snow.

The leather is of course stiff out of the box. It hits a sensitive area on the joint between foot and front of leg. This doesn't happen with the fuzzy lined winter ones, of course. Presumably it will take a few days of wear before the leather agrees to be flexible at that joint.

I’m a true 7.5 so I went down to a 7 and they are a perfect fit. Haven’t owned a pair of Doc’s since the late 80’s. I thought the lace boots looked a little too young for me, but these boots are the koolest, most comfortable pair of footwear I currently own.

Love these boots! I had the brown ones first and then came back for the black about a year later.

These are my favorite shoes/boots now!
