Thank you for fixing the tongue issue in the Bondi 6. However, why did you change the back of the shoe to the memory foam collar? It does not hold as well as the Bondi 6, even when using heel lock lacing technique. If you change back to the higher collar and keep everything else the same, then you will have created the perfect shoe!

Great cushioning for plantar fascia, no heel pain. However, the toe box is less comfortable and narrower than expected even with the wide shoe. I have worn Altra for years and heard the Hoka was comparable, actually better cushioning, and was hoping the toe box would provide similar comfort but it did not.
I'd also recommend:
Altra

I love my Bondi 5's, which I use for distance walking. The cushion is as "pillowy" as advertised, and the fit is good, though a little snug for my feet, which is why when I upgraded to Bondi 7's last week I ordered Wide fit. But these didn't feel any wider the than the regular-fit 5's, and the cushion didn't feel quite as thick. Neither issue was a big problem, but something also wasn't quite the same about the fit and comfort in the instep area too, so I reluctantly returned them. Maybe will try a different style.

The length and width of the shoe felt right, but there was a part of the outer sole that pokes up around the arch and it was not wide enough there. As a result, the hard outer sole jams up into the arch on every step creating pain. If it was not for this flaw, the shoes would be great.

Ordered extra wide. Easily the narrowest shoe I’ve ever had on. I’ll have to return them.

The shoes are not nearly as wide or as cushy as Hoka claims. Further they cause significant supination, which is disastrous. This is NOT a neutral shoe. Further it is downright ugly!

I was recommended this shoe by a supervisor at Amazon. He said they did wonders for him. I wore one 12 hour shift and my little outside toes hurt the entire shift. When I got home after the 12 hour shift I found red marks on both "pinky" toes. Can't return them because I wore them for the shift. These I bought with my own money, not from the Amazon shoe program.

This shoe reminded my of the Clifton 4, which was so hard, it felt like running in Danish clogs. The Bondi 5s and 6s were nice a soft, which made the cushion magical for long runs. And durable. I ran 1,000+ miles in 3 pairs of 5s and a 6. I was looking to do the same in the Bondi 7. But the shoe is so hard and stiff it feels like running on bricks. For me it sort of cancels out the intend of the high cushion. Not for me. I am returning. I think if you like the 5s and 6s and how cushy they were, you might not like the hard 7s.
I love the Mach 4s so will buy more of those instead.

The Bondi 7 black on black does not have the plush ride as the other colors. I have 3 other pair and was surprised this combination was super stiff and the interior is lacking the depth. I order the same size every time and this one was a little snug. Will I buy another Bondi pair? Absolutely, just not in the black/black combo.

The good is that the shoes feel very comfortable and are very stylish. You feel like you are floating on air. Now the bad is that I have had these shoes for only a couple weeks and there is definite wear on the soles. I walk 2 to 4 miles a day, no running. These might be fine for using on grass or smooth concrete but will not last on asphalt. After noticing the damage I am retiring these shoes from my daily walks and will just use them when running errands around town. Expensive shoe for this purpose. This is my first pair of HOKA and was hoping to have a better experience.

The HOKA One One Bondi 7 is NOT the Bondi 6. It does NOT have the support and cushioning that the model 6 had and leaves me with sore feet both while wearing it and after work as well. 30-day return policy requires that I pay to ship to the UK at my expense! These will be kept then but will be my last purchase of HOKA.

I like the shoe and the fit nice but the right shoe rubs at the side inside the shoe. The insert comes up the side and rubs my foot making it uncomfortable to wear.

The shoes were very soft and felt great on my feet. Except where they didn't.
I was evaluating several pairs for walking shoes that were both cushioned and (secondly) supportive enough for walking.
The issue with these is that the back of the sole is angled up. This means that all the force of footfall hits your heel in a line, about 1/4 the way forward on your heel, that corresponds to the shape of the sole of the shoe. Also, there is a cup in the heel that pushes against the sides of my heel, and that is uncomfortable.
The midsole, the cushion under the ball of the foot, everything else is fantastic. But that line of force on the heel is just not something I could tolerate. I ended up buying some Asics gel-nimbus and love them.

Shoe is very comfortable. Lots of cushion but part of the rubber sole on the back of the right shoe is separating from the bottom of the shoe. Only had them 3 weeks. Going to return for a refund.

My coworkers love these shoes
When I first put them on I understood why
The cushioning was amazing, but for me with toe issues, the toe box was too small and painful after five minutes had to send them back.
Would've loved to been able to wear them due to the great feeling they had on my foot, but could not handle the tight toe box

This was my 4th pair of HOKA's in the last 18 months and I have noticed two consistent issue with the shoe. The soles wear way too fast and the inside of the shoe around the heal of the shoe tear. I have tried 4 different styles and the same has happened with all 4 pairs. I think HOKA needs to focus more on quality instead of a plush experience because if you can't perfect quality then a plush ride really doesn't matter! My other shoes from ASICS and Brooks never showed this kind of wear and tear. Those brands have both been around a lot longer and don't share that high of a price point either.
Please do better!!!

Hoka Bondi 7s were recommended by many people to me. I work in footwear for a large outdoors retailer and many of my customers have various foot problems. Several recommended Hoka for foot pain due to plantar fasciitis, neuromas, and wide feet.
The footbed is definitely more cushion, but the arch digs in and the toe box still puts pressure on the outside of my foot.
Disappointing to spend so much only to not be able to wear them for more than a few minutes.
