I bought these for my husband as a Christmas Present he wears a 12 and had to send back because too narrow, so tried the 12.5. He says they are good, but would have preferred a 12 wide. He loves the traction when he walks on snow

I like the new treads but not a fan with the very hard heal cup in the back- could use more padding. This shoe should last a longer than others.

I always stuggle to figure out the fight cushioning for my trail shoes. Some are just too much cushioning and some are too little. Torrent is just a bit slim on the cushion, but so far, so good.

Always a fan of the Hoka lineup, this is my first Hoka trail shoe. It's already my favorite. Nice weight, fun ride, and so good looking!

A reliable shoe for technical terrain. Lower stack offers better stability on really technical terrain. This shoe also performs so much better than the speedgoat when it is saturated wet. The one thing I would add is mega-grip.

Overall, a great shoe. For the price, they “broke down” a little quicker than expected, but they are lightweight and comfortable. True to size. Decent support. I would recommend.

I really like these shoes and just ordered another pair. They fit great, are light but offer decent protection while trail running. I will say after 3 months of use some of the tread is falling off.

Light weight trail shoe with decent protection on rugged trails. Definitely going to get another pair.

Most of the time I use this running shoes to go for a 2 mile run. My thoughts are that they are very light and extremely responsive. There comfortable but so little support. In regards there isn't a lot of mesh in the bottom of the shoe to support you from ground you literally feel the ground a bit more when you go for a run. Which is ok for me the mesh does help but like I say a little. They seem like there holding up no tear yet.

Had to send them back, the inner seam up the left shoe fell apart after 30-40 miles of hiking so had to give it 4-5 , however the shoes were awesome and will buy again. Customer Service was the best, they were on it !!!!!!

Seems like great trail running shoe. Unfortunately didn't work for me as it wasn't wide enough.

Fourth pair of Torrents, but first pair of Torrent 2's. They feel a bit different. Not sure I like the change yet.

These are light, and stable, with good forefoot room. I would still be wearing v2 M2 of the Pearl trail shoes if they were made, and bought these after the last pair I had hoarded finally bit the dust. I find these a little more shoe than those, and I would actually like a higher heel stack, but after about 100 trail miles I am very, very happy with them. I ran for an hour today on packed trail, sand, loose rock, and grass and they performed very well. They can be tuned pretty well with the lacing for the terrain.

I love my Clifton 7 in Navy. Reordered in the pink color, and it does not hug my narrow foot like the Navy. Maybe ladies with normal width shoes wouldn't notice the difference, but I did in that color. Returning and trying Black with white soles now.

Lightweight, grips well, little to no break in period required. Reminds me of the Clayton 2 but for the trails. Feels good in the dirt, mud, single track, leaves...just nothing excessively rocky. Go for one of the more cushioned options for that.
There's no finger loop on the heel to help get it on which would be nice. I also would have preferred less volume and a more narrow shoe like the Clayton 2. With lightweight socks it's a little roomy in the width but the length is perfect.

I bought these for long walks or short runs this COVID winter in New England. Very light weight and comfortable shoe, but with an aggressive tread that is great for snow/ice conditions. Have not tried on the trails yet, but I plan to try them on shorter hikes when I don't need my heavy boots. I have had planter facia and achilles injuries from running in the past. These shoes are very supportive and soft, without being over the top on the cushion like some other Hokas I have tried on in the past.

First pair, giving them a try. Usually wear Altra so the tow box was a bit strange to get used to. So far, enjoying the cushion without the old school lift.

Fit OK, but did not have the same amount of arch support as other HOKA's I recently got.

II do shorter runs on serious off trail and see it all out there. The fit is proper. snug but not tight heel, comfortable padded tongue, and plenty of room for the toes. Pros: excellent grip. Cons: (1) not as responsive as some competitors, which would be acceptable if the ride were plusher, but it is not (and I use a happy feet insole too). So the feel is compromised but without the usual corresponding benefit of a plusher ride; (2) the midsole either does not have a rock plate or has an inadequate one. I felt a lot of midsole stabs from roots and rocks; finally (3) this shoe runs very hot. Evan after a brief run my feet were feeling the heat. They aren't the lightest shoe around, so theat plus the heat was a downer.
I would still recommend to a friend as a gravel shoe, particularly for cooler weather. It appeared and ran well made. but I have not tested it long term.
Next up will be the Goat 4's. Hope they do the trick.
