I use the product as expected, single track trail, keep them dry, rocks and roots as expected in trail running. Bottom line these shoes are terrible quality. I have 3 pairs of torrent 2 as I run ultra trail races and want multiples pairs of shoes broken in the same. I rotate the usage and 2 of my 3 pairs after 6 uses with 1 pair and 11 uses with another pair they are falling apart. The pair with 11 uses the tread is and lugs are completely falling apart and tearing away form the shoe(unfortunately the website wont upload the image) . On top of the terrible quality the return policy where you the customer are expected to pay to return the product for "analysis" is unacceptable. I'd be happy to return the defective shoes after receiving replacements and a prepaid shipping label. This is a product/company issue, not a customer issue. Invest your money into another company, don't be fooled by the name because they're a big industry sponsor.

I typically wear structured shoes for over probation but can wear neutral shoes. I purchased these for trails and hiking and those type of shoes are typically neutral. Out of the box these felt very uncomfortable. It put pressure on my inner ankles. They felt like the shoe was built up more on the outside of my feet. Wearing them in my home for 15 minutes made it obvious these would not work for any type of performance let just walking in. My return was easy, much appreciated. Might have just been my anatomy but and an immediate no go for me.

Not purple its blue!!! The color is NOT purple or (iris). It is a blue color!

I have bought many pairs of Hoka's in the past but I have to say this is the worst purchase I have ever made the shoe after one month is falling apart and I have glue it back together. If I can return it and get another pair I would in a heartbeat

I've only done a handful of runs in these new Torrent 2's and they are already falling apart. (See photos) I've ran in Hoka shoes for several years now (including the original Torrents), but this version has a serious design flaw right where the toe box flexes pulling the glue and protective rubber layer away from the shoe. DON'T BUY THIS SHOE!

I thought these would be a more breathable upgrade for the Speed Goats I loved for many miles, but unfortunately the sole started to separate from the shoe after only 15 miles. Leave the sole to Vibram next time Hoka, it's not worth the $5 dollars saved. A major failure at this price point is not acceptable. Would be the perfect shoe otherwise.

I purchased these for my husband and they were coming about after two weeks of wear. I am exchanging them for the same pair. Hopefully we will have better luck with the next pair.

I bought about 10 pairs of the first Torrents and told everyone how great they were. When I couldn't find them anymore, I got the Torrent2's and was immediately bummed. They didn't fit my foot anymore and even worse, I didn't like the color scheme. It is confusing to me why shoe companies do this stuff to a perfectly good shoe. The Torrent 1's lasted forever, had incredible grip on all surfaces, light and just the right amount of cush. So sad. And I miss the old colors.

I used this shoe for approximately 2 weeks, maybe 6-10 times and the tread lugs were just falling off the bottom. Extremely disappointed.

I love Hoka running shoes, but these shoes are not for me. They are too stiff, and they seem to throw my form off, especially on longer trail runs. Also, the top of my feet become numb on long trail runs. I will try another trail running shoe from Hoka.

I literally had to take the shoes off to workout.

When I first bought this shoe I thought it was very very comfortable and looked durable as well. However, my first outdoor trail excursion and I'm already missing a lug. I would not recommend this shoe to anyone with that kind of durability on a trail runner.

I was a big fan of the speedgoat2, and wanted to try the torrent line. First run part of the lug peeled off, and ever since on every run part of it would come un-glued. It's becoming a ritual to bust out the super glue myself after every run. Samething on my friend's pair and seems like a common problem. AVOID THIS SHOE! I rarely leave product reviews, but this was bad enough and common enough that it's a shame on the brand. AVOID THIS SHOE!!

These shoes have ZERO wet traction. They even feel slippery on wet pavement. If you plan on running anywhere that will have even a drop of moisture i strongly recommend going with a different brand.

This product does not fit at all and is extremely uncomfortable to wear and thus basically useless to me. The Hoka fit guide is completely wrong.
