I bought my usual size 6. They feel way too spacious and look much bigger than my usual size 6 sneakers by other brands. The area from the ball of the foot forward is wide

I've tried socks, no socks, wearing for 15 minute increments (my other Hoka's non of this was necessary) and I cannot prevent the blisters on my small toes. The size is the same as my other pairs. I've maintained my same weight..I have no idea what's wrong. They are pretty - I hate that I can't wear them! Maybe they are miss sized. Despite this company saying they have guarantees - I learned from my last pair that they don't. You have to mail the shoes to them at your cost only then do they decide if the shoes are defective (the rubber in the insole came off a previous pair) and you run the risk of being out $30 plus dollars for round trip shipping to get back the same damaged or miss sized shoes. They fit everywhere but toes. I swore I wouldn't buy this brand again - but I forgave the poor customer service and bought this pair in March 2021. I was so upset by the disrespect from my previous purchase that I'm just going to take the loss and not buy this brand again. Such a shame - but there are real problems- not being gaslit by a misleading company. I regret this purchase, hard pass from now on!

The cushioning itself is very comfortable and responsive. The shoe feels great on the foot, the gusseted tongue is awesome, and my mid foot feels very locked down and secure. HOWEVER, it feels as if there is extra cushioning on the bottom of the heel on the outside, causing excessive overpronation. My shins have flared up so badly since transitioning into these shoes. I am trying to give them a chance but I don't know if I will be able to stick it out.

I was so excited to try the Clifton 7 this year. I hated the 6 so much that I switched to the ON brand. While I liked that shoe okay, they raised their prices this year and I didn't love it enough to pay what they want. So I had high hopes about switching back to Hoka.
Couldn't try the 7 in my local store because they were out of my usual size. I tried the Bondi for fit and had to size down because, again this year, Hoka has put immense room in the toe box. I hate my toes flopping around and like a tight shoe so I sized down a half size.
I then ordered direct online and they came today. Still a lot of room in the toe box, but it's livable in the smaller size.
The cushioning though is abysmal comparatively speaking. I'm sure if you've never tried a Clifton before, you'll love it. It's far better than your average sneaker. But the arch support is pitiful compared to the Clifton 5 and the bottom of my heels actually feel sore from how firm the support is. I also don't feel the rocker motion, which helps propel me forward, as much in this shoe.
I wish I'd stocked up 2 years ago when I bought the Clifton 5. It was truly perfect. Putting my old ones on, which have close to 1000 miles on them, is more comfortable and supportive than these new Clifton 7's.

I have plantar fasciitis and I work 12 hours on my feet. The first pair of hoka I bought lasted 8months and really worked. This pair is not as cushy as other shoes from this brand. The color is fun though!

My last pair of Hoka Bondi 6 I fell in love with as soon as I put them on. The Bondi 7 is nothing like it as far as comfort. So disappointed!

It seems like I had Pebbles in my shoes all the time underneath my food and it was very uncomfortable and kept taking the insert out and putting it back in to get rid of the feeling but it was still there

This shoe felt like a 1/2 a size bigger than I normally buy and wasn't as comfortable. I was so disappointed because I love the Clifton 6

If you have worn the Clifton 6 before, do not buy the 7s thinking they'll be the same thing. They seemed like completely different shoes. I love everything about the Clifton 6... wide toe box, so comfy it feels like walking on clouds, and just overall a perfect fit and comfortable. The Clifton 7s seemed more narrow, definitely not as comfortable an insole, and the back of the shoe there's a bump above where my heel is that was so annoying. I sent them back ASAP. Very disappointed.

When I purchased my Clifton 6's, there was no break in period required, and they were extremely responsive. I received these today, and they are no where close to the same shoe. As others have said, they are narrower at the flat of the foot, and lack the cushioning of the 6. I also find the heel tab to be very useless, and somewhat painful. Yes, they are new, so I will give them a few more days, but if there isn't a major change, I'll be sending these back.

I was upgrading my Clifton 6's and the 7's and I was so disappointed and wish I could reorder the 6's again. The 6's were so comfortable and felt like I was stepping on a cloud with every step. My 7's feel like my year worn 6's stepping into them :( thought shoes were supposed to be improved as each version comes out not the other way around :(

I was looking for a shoe with more cushion, and this definitely has that. But other than that, I haven't been able to enjoy it. My shoe always feels either too loose or too tight, and I've been experimenting with tying. Now I get blisters on my instep from the mesh inside. These do a lot better when I run on a treadmill versus when I'm running on the pavement. My route has a lot of hills and they seem to have too much going on with the rocker and the dropped heel to run the hills comfortably. My feet are always hurting. And I've had concerns I'm developing shin splints, but it's the blisters on the instep that are killing it for me.

This was listed as a US size 7. But it felt huge. Then I saw on the box it said UK size 5.5! A US size 7 is supposed to be a UK size 4.5 - so the US sizing is way off, no wonder it was way too big.

I have worn my shoes for less than 150 miles. The insides have already begun to tear apart. I am very disappointed.

Great product but delivery was a disaster FedEx lost the shipment and the woman I spoke with did nothing to help me. At all. Contacted company via chat and they were very helpful. Finally received the shoes one week after receiving them from another company. Could t wait 3 weeks.

I did not get the mileage I thought I would. I enjoyed the show until the soles started to fall apart right as the upper broke in perfectly.

I've been wearing Altra shoes since they came out, but purchased a pair of Clifton 6s for a flat 100 mile race due to having foot issues with Altra during a 50 mile race. I had zero foot issues after finishing the race and these shoes continue to be my go to. I figured go ahead and order Clifton 7 for another 100 mile race next month. One run and sending them back for another pair of Clifton 6s. To me the insole felt nothing like the Clifton 6s even with them having 400 miles on them. Still more comfortable than the 7s. Even the Altra Escalante (short distance shoe) feels better. Not a big fan of the new tail fin on the back either due to rubbing Achilles.

I love my Clifton 5. I actually had extras, and now came time to order new ones. New version is not as comfortable. I stand on feet for long hours, and the version hurt my feet within 2 hours. Very disappointed.
