Show feels extremely comfirtable

I have wide feet and have done my last three through hikes with lone peaks. I decided to try The Olympus shoe to see if the extra cushioning of the sole will prevent that tenderfoot feeling at the end of the day I got from the Lone Peaks. Thankfully I love the comfort of the Olympus shoe as Lone Peaks went to the dark side and became yet another narrowed up redesign. HEY Altra! normal foot people have a million choices! Why would you leave your wide footed fans? So goodbye Lone peaks-Hello Olympus Hopefully the Olympus remain wide. The comfort of the cushion and wide toe box is amazing. Guess I'll need to stock up just in case.

It's a very good shoe, I use them for all day work & play

Bought my first pair of Olympus 4 last Spring. Immediately fell in love with them! Have purchased 4 pair now in total in less than a year. Trail run. Road run. Everyday wear around the house and office! They work so well for everything! Bought my wife a pair and she loves them! Wearing them a lot in the snow, ice and junk of the Michigan winter. Perfect shoe for that also! Highly, highly recommend!

Solid construction with a good amount of protection from stones. I'm wearing a size 12.5 and a lot of shoes aren't built for bigger feet but these have the protection & build to last. Best trial shoe I've worn.

I have been running with Altra for more than 5 years. The bottoms of my feet had been bothering me and running was getting unfun. I was using the Escalante and Superior so I decided to try a cushier model. I'm soooo glad I did. The extra cushiness made all the difference for me. I feel like I can run forever again. I use them for both road and trail running.

In forty years of running and as a 65 year old runner Altra zero drops are the best shoes I've ever used. I've had plantar fasciitis so the zero drop is critical for me. Altra shoes were first suggested to me by a Mayo Clinic neurologist to help with the plantar fasciitis. I've also had sesamoiditis so the extra padding on the trail shoes is vital as well. The expanded toe box is welcome.

Best shoe for me and my hiking. Great grip on wet surfaces. Feels good on my feet with great cushion. I needed a shoe like the older Lone Peak that I could brag on and this is it.

I have been running in Altra's for a few years now and love how they keep my feet injury free. I really love the Olympus and use them for both trail and road! I even wear Altras for day to day use.

I've been an Altra fan since roughly 2014. I've owned over 20 pair of various models, and I can safely say that the Olympus 4 is easily the best shoe they've ever made. The quality of the materials are top-notch, and they look amazing. The fit and feel are astonishing, given how much cushioning there is. They are light and nimble, which is shocking. The tread of the Vibram outsole is perfect, and I've yet to slip on sand, rock, wet dirt, wet rock, etc. I'm almost 200 miles in, and they still feel wonderful. And to Altra, thank you so much for making a black/grey colorway. I hate bright running shoes, and you are one of the few brands that makes one subdued colorway for folks like me. Thank you! Keep up the great work. I couldn't love this shoe more. I adore it so much that I bought two extra pair for the future.

I experimented this with this year's model, buying a 1/2 size bigger, as my 68-year-old feet have spread out over the last few years. I bought two pair of the Olympus 4 to last me till the 4.5 appears. Well done!

It's mostly my everyday trail running shoe. I'm training for a 50k this spring and this shoe has everything I need. I was skeptical about the stack height at first for rolling ankles mostly but after my first run all my worries are disappeared. Lastly the recovery time running on those shoes is tremendous

Traditional Altra fit. Shoe provide an extraordinary feel under foot for a larger shoe.

First hundred mile trip. Shoe is fantastic, comfortable, plenty of cushion even over rocky terrain. Great grip. I'm glad they are this good. It will be my 2021 trail shoes.

I have been using Altra trail shoes for nearly 6 years now. This is absolutely the best version of this shoe that I have ever run in. It has plenty of toe room and the length is great. the shoe has held up better than any previous version. I'm 61 and typically run between 150 and 200 miles per month, mostly on dirt roads and single track trails. I cannot praise the design and comfort of the shoe more! The sole and uppers have held up perfectly. No cracks or fabric failures on the stress points. No noticeable compression in the sole or rapid heal tread wear. I've ordered my second pair and am tempted to order another while they still have 12 1/2's in stock. I pray the designer doesn't change the sizing or material... in my opinion, the perfect shoe!

I had my first hike in the Altra Olympus 4.0 and it met my expectations easily. Nice shoe in every way, looks, design, and build. Supportive with cushion and a great grip. How about that toe box! I loved my Lone Peak 3.5 and I was looking for the same shoe in a new model. I needed a shoe for light weight backpacking. The newer models of Lone Peak did not live up to the 3.5. I thought I was out of luck until I saw a video of a experienced backpacker claim the Olympus was his favorite shoe. Now I have found my best shoe. I also want to mention the great customer service at Altra . I will keep buying shoes from them as long as they keep these basic designs in the shoe.

I have been running in Altra shoes for years and this shoe is the best I have run in. Comfortable, great traction, awesome in rain, mud, snow, dry trails, ect... The only thing I would change is the tongue need to be just a little thicker. When I tighten the laces down really snug it can leave a bruise on the top of my foot. Other than that, this shoe rocks!

I use my Altra Olympus 4's for running down the streets in town and light trail running. When I got back into running, I ordered these shoes, a pair of Hoka's and a pair of New Balance. My plan was to rotate between the 3 pairs so as not to cause an injury based on the way any one of them fit. I started doing this for a few weeks, but got to the point that I always pick up the Altra's now. Just feel so good on my feet and so natural when I run with the foot shaped toe box. Love - Love - Love these shoes!

Love these shoes. They are my go rod shoe and I couldn't be happier.

As a retail manager on my feet 10-12 hours a day these feel amazing. Bought 2 pairs different colors to switch out. Even got my wife to wearing them.
