My husband's go to for everyday winter wear. These shirts hold their shape wash after wash and reduce the need for multiple under layers.

I love Smartwool base layer shirts- both thermal and all season. They are extremely comfortable, well-made, and fit well no bagging.

I own multiple pairs of the classic thermal merino base layer tops and bottoms and wear them all winter for skiing, snowshoeing, walking the dogs, and any other outdoor activities here in MN. They keep me warm, they don't itch, and they hold up well for years even with machine washing and drying.

Bought for my son and don't have the details but I know he loves it! I got it on sale, which I loved! I think I would have been okay with paying full price however.

If Smartwool keeps up with the quality of these baselayers I will never need to look elsewhere. I own 4 of these and love them all. These are so comfortable and convenient. Great for hiking in cold weather, outdoor activities or just going out on a brisk day. #sweepstakes

I initially just bought one of these to use as a mild weather layer when I go camping in the hills of Kentucky in the fall. I haven't treated that initial shirt lightly when wearing but I do follow the care instructions for cleaning. It has remained a phenomenal base layer! I even like the comfort and look of these so much, I am slowly adding more colors to my collection as every day wear. I did write this review with 100 percent honesty even though I will be entering the sweepstakes! #sweepstakes

My review of the shirt would be equal to my glowing review of the pants. Well made, comfortable and worth the cost.

I use it all the time. I have 2 of them and I wear a base layer all the time during the winter months just to hang around the house in and for skiing and outdoor fun. Great product.

I wear on a daily basis. Great for cold days and not so cold days. Suprised by the durability and the fact they dont smell after a day of work?. Can wear 2 to 3 times beforr wash. Pricey but theyve held up very well.

I wear this base layer when I ski and just everyday when it's cold out. It provides just the right amount of warmth on cooler days. The sizing was right on, (a large for me, 5-11 and 190#). I wish they still had a dark blue color as I wore mine out. I own 4 of these in different colors that I just wear as a shirt at times.

This shirt was so soft and comfortable. Got it for cooler autumn golf and it helped keep me warm and comfortable with just a 1/4 zip golf shirt and a vest on top of it. Very happy with this purchase.

Add this to a mid layer and shell combo and you won't feel the cold at all when active. I hike and do wildland fire work with this, and dumping layers all of the way down to this shirt and a light vest is my go-to system. To me, at least, the cut feels a little bit more athletic than most of Smartwool's gear, so it fits much closer to the body than a typical t-shirt but the collar fits closely to your neck, which I appreciate. #sweepstakes

I'm a Canadian mailman living and working in the middle of the prairies, where the winter can be truly brutal. I am about to begin my seventeenth winter, proudly serving the people of my community. Winter generally lasts from early November to mid-March. Temperatures remain below freezing at all times, even during the daytime. January and February are the coldest months, with low temperatures often dropping below -30C (-22F) and high temperatures not rising above -10C (14F). Every item of clothing you put on must be justified. When you are balancing performance, durability, weight, product care, and value there is no room for anything but the best. And the only way to know is to buy and try. I am not a "brand" guy. Brands come and go. Amazing products come and go. But sometimes you find a brand that impresses you so much that it seems too good to be true. I've worn just about every base layer from every big name in outdoor clothing; thousands of dollars over the years. I'm happy to report that -- with a few appalling disappointments aside -- you mostly get what you pay for and there are still many people in many companies who are genuine outdoorspeople, sincere in their passion to create excellent products. Like many of you I came to Smartwool for the socks. Neither of us has the time for me to tell you about how impressed I am by Smartwool's socks. But that's kinda their main thing, so we should not be too surprised. I digress. Having won me over with their socks, I tried this classic 250 weight merino wool base layer. When I opened the package and felt the fabric of this product I was immediately impressed. There's a lush, silky suppleness to a high quality merino wool and I'd never felt anything like this Smartwool base layer outside of a high-quality cashmere. I wore it that day in the middle of another fierce winter and then annoyed my wife when I got home as I was unable to shut up about how impressed I was. That positive impression only grew, and one by one the other dozen or so base layers I had been rotating faded out. Now there is only Smartwool. Full disclosure: I'm sorry to say I abuse my Smartwool base layers and socks terribly. I come home, strip down and throw everything into the hottest wash cycle possible. I use regular detergents that are not in any way ideal for wool. This garment care abuse if the final hurdle for any piece of clothing I try, and many otherwise excellent products aren't able to clear it. Somehow, Smartwool prevails once again. I wear them hard, wash and dry them hard, repeat through eight months of sub-zero, and they just don't disappoint.
