I gave this base layer a good trial today. Walked approx. 5-6 miles in 30- 40 degree F weather. I had a Smartwool medium weight sweater on top of this base layer, and a light jacket over the two. As you can see by the pictures, the base layer collected and held quite a bit of perspiration. I was not running, only briskly walking on the trail which is for the most part flat. I like the fit and feel of this, but am a little disappointed by the dampness that it retained. Had I stopped for any length of time, perhaps a chill would have set in. It really would not be a good choice for vigorous workout, only an activity that is more sedentary. It is a nice underlayer for casual wear.

I bought this crew 250 base layer to primarily wear on a March snowboarding trip to Vail, but also to serve on early summer hiking trips, as well as to wear around the house on cold days. The base layer worked well across a wide range of temps while I was at Vail. On +5F cold temps paired with a mid layer zip up and snowboarding jacket and +55F warm temps paired with a light softshell, this base layer performed spectacularly. Breathed well, managed sweat well on heavy output runs, and left a 5 day trip (worn every day) completely stink free. Another big plus is that it looks acceptable enough on surprise video calls (you know, when your boss randomly says "Hey can you chat real quick?" and you have to follow-suit and turn on your camera?...) during WFH. Can't wait to put it through it's paces further on the trail and mountains this spring and fall. The only slight complaint that I have it is just slightly oversized in the sleeves and general fit (for a base layer). Not too big of a deal, but the wool fabric gets stretched out a little bit after the first wear too, however I have read that it bounces back after the rare wash.

I bought this as a layering system for cycling and to try and minimize winter bulk. This base layer keeps me warm without overheating my body. Want to get one for around the house.

My son and husband love this top. It will provide warmth under clothing during the winter but can also be worn by itself. They love the outdoorsy/trees pattern!

Highly recommended base layer. Warm, but doesn't overheat you. Took for a jog at 27 degrees with only a light jacket on top and was never the least bit cold. Very comfortable and soft, also dried my post-jog sweat quite quickly. I'm 6'2" 220-225 and can bounce between L and XL, depending on how the brand fits. Purchased both, but think the large will be the better fit for me. First try on L was tight and XL fit great, but they do naturally stretch a bit as you wear over just 20-30 min. Will say the mineral blue heather does not look like pics 1, 2, or 4 at all. Pic 3 hits the actual color pretty close. I'll likely purchase more.

I love the pattern, the thickness and the softness of this top. It's great for layering to ski. Not too much nor too little.

I use the product as a base layer for snowmobiling. I have used the bottoms for about 3 years now and decided to get the matching top. The product keeps me warm dry and comfortable.

The 320 weight is fantastic. I have diabetic Neuropathy and using a 200 under the 320 + midlayer kept me warm all day skiing with -15c and windy.

My husband is a large Tall Norwegian man. He needs it to fit his torso and long arms! They are great! As we just had 12 inches of snow and he is nice and warm, even while shoveling snow and ice!

This is used as a base layer for cold days outside, and skiing mostly. Soft and comfortable, warm, and sized well for the purpose.

Purchased two sizes up from my shirt size as I didn't want a tight base layer. This is perfect. Comfortable and warm, working outside in Canadian winter weather.

I use this as a baselayer. I've found it to be warmer than Eddie Bauer Freeheat or Columbia Omniheat baselayers (which is a positive thing, in my mind).
