I love this base layer, I wear it every morning on the cool days on walks with my dogs and it keeps me so warm and cozy. I will be buying more Smartwool product in the suture after this purchase!

I wear long underwear half of the year living in the mountains of Idaho. This top is my favorite as a base layer. It is warm, doesn't collect moisture and very comfortable. Highly recommend.

For light hiking these are supremely versatile. Perfect for the Shikoku pilgrimage. Two shirts, one pair tights, one beenie, three pairs socks- all merino wool. Combined with water and windproof layers I was comfortable in late winter/early spring conditions, 40 to 65 degrees for the seven weeks I walked with a 30L backpack. I am thoroughly pleased with the performance, styling and construction of Smartwool garments.

The best base layer I have ever used. This is my first time using Merino wool as a base layer and I am a believer. I hunt in freezing temperatures and never once was my core cold. I will be buying more Merino products!

My 14-year-old son had been wearing Smartwool baselayers to mountain skiing for many years, but last year we couldn't find the right kids' size for him. I even emailed the company to ask if they would make an XS size for slim teenagers. Fortunately, this year he tried the S size and it fits him well. He is 5'5.

These are great for light cold weather by themselves or under a thicker jacket for colder weathers. It's light but can keep you warm and comfortable. They are also great for starting a hike with a tshirt underneath where you can switch to just tshirt if it gets hot. I just wish they had a hoodie.

Our son recommended this top to go with the bottoms. The fit is perfect (my usual size) and the quality is the best!

I bought these for upcoming trips to Europe in winter and late spring, though ive tried them out already. Perfect fit, can wear under a dress shirt if I need to, and they pack well. 2 to 3 weeks carry-on only, and I can air them out overnight or wash them in a hotel sink if needed.

I use it as a base layer at work when it's chilly. It wears well. If it gets warm I don't get hot. Helps with the windchill. Usually operate in the 50s with some wind in the SF Bay Area which has alot of micro-climates with wide varying temperatures.

This shirt is soft, not at all itchy and wonderfully warm for our cold climate and inability to stay warm in our advancing age.

I've been wearing the classis wool base layers for several years because they keep me warm in the cold MN winters. The reasons I've been sticking with them is that they are the most comfortable and warm and the fact that they are 100% merino wool. I wear them for skiing, walking the dogs, hiking, and basically any activity outdoors in the winter. I own multiple pairs of tops and bottoms and wear them every day during the winter.

Base layer while golfing in 40-50F weather. Kept me warm in the morning chill. And wicked away the sweat when it warmed up a bit. Awesome piece. Want a bunch more.
