Love smart wool! This base layer is everything I need! I would buy 1 in every color. They layer great and aren't restrictive or scratchy.

Coupled this base layer with the Smartwool jacket for a 16 mile winter hike in wind gusts and 30 degree weather. Stayed comfortably warm and remained stylish going out to dinner with friends later in the day. Planning to wear this kit during a Scouting Klondike weekend with low 30 degree temperatures and several inches of snow.

The perfect thickness of a baselayer, not too thin, not too thick, awesome neutral color. Love it! Used it the first week I got it on our backpacking trip in Dec!

I already have several wool base layer shirts like this... not all from Smartwool, but I do prefer Smartwool. I like that this one is a bit thicker than most. Love the seems over the shoulder area (very non-obtrusive).

I have 5 of these base layers! They are amazing. I wear them just a top (not necessarily as a base layer) on cool days and they keep me toasty!

Wore it as a warm layer when the temps crashed in March. The Current Heather color is lovely and fit is very comfortable.

This will be great as a warming base layer in the coldest temps. So excited to try this out! The color is nice as well.

I bought this for a trip to Ireland in March. The weather was blustery, cold, and rainy, but I was warm and dry with this under my sweater and coat.

I wear every day in the winter as a first layer. Always comfortable, not itchy.

I have the black one and also a multi color. It can be worn casual or for going out. Warm but not hot. Great for fall, winter and spring. Ordering another. Best sweater ever.

These are great shirts to wear alone or underneath a sweater.
