The Women's Classic Thermal Merino Base Layer Crew is everything you want in a base layer. The fabric is soft and breathable, keeping me warm without overheating. It fits comfortably under layers and looks stylish enough to wear on its own. A versatile and high-quality addition to any winter wardrobe!

Haven't worn this snowboarding yet, but I love how soft it is and it washed really well. It's nice and long so I don't have to worry about it riding up while on the mountain.

This is one of the best base layers I've ever bought. Well worth the money. It's super warm but not too thick and I can wear something under and over it to keep myself warm. Super soft and fits really well.

I have used smart wool tops on my morning walks for decades. When the weather is cold, I layer up to two and when it's milder, just one. These tops are incredible. They wash up well and are worth the expenditure because they are durable. I have four smart wool tops. I highly recommend them.

I absolutely love this classic thermal Marino base layer crew. I actually bought the bottoms also. This is my third pair. I use these as intended, as a base layer, but I also used them as pajamas when I white water rafted the Grand Canyon in May of this year. It was perfect because when I got up to go to the bathroom or in the morning, I was still fashionable. I love color and the pattern on this pair.

I really love every smart wool item. I started buying the socks years ago and soon all my kids wanted them. Then I moved to the undergarments for my daughter who rode her bicycle all winter and now I just buy lots of all kinds of smartwool. It's hard to go without it once you've gotten used to it.

I bought this as a base layer for Antarctica! I absolutely love the fit. It's super comfortable & warm. I will most likely be buying more for snowboarding base layers.

Super comfortable! I use it both as a baselayer for hiking and over a t-shirt as a sweater when exercising. It stays warm even on humid, wet days and dries super fast. The absolute best hiking baselayer I've ever used!

I layer this under my vest for Fall weather and love the warmth it provides! The patter is super fun as well. Winter time I use it as my base layer for outdoor sports and it keeps me warm and dry.

I LOVE this shirt. My first reason is that I have long arms, and this is one of the only brands that has long enough sleeves. I hate when my wrists are exposed in freezing weather! Secondly, it keeps me incredible warm when snowboarding. Super comfy. I debated a long time whether or not to invest money in a long sleeve shirt but it's definitely worth it.

These shirts are very cozy. Not scratchy. Attractive enough to wear out. Even with our thermostat turned down, these keep me very warm.

I'm new to running in colder weather (would always just retreat to the treadmill), but have had the joy of discovering trail running. I now have winter races to train for and run. Smartwool was recommended to me and I'm so glad! This base layer is perfect and keeps me warm and dry through my long runs.

This is my go to thermal top. I've tried all the other brands merino, alpaca etc... some of these are really good. But when it comes to a 200g+ wool crew neck, this is the one. The softest, the easiest to care for, most long lasting, and the warmest. It just is. Add the incredible array of colors and what is a great price...why would you buy another? I use this for riding horses, work (restoring rivers), and at home just hanging by the fire.
