Great color and soft material.

I love the Smartwool basic layers. They are soft, comfortable, and long-lasting. This one is a warm, mid-weight Merino, great on its own or as an underlayer. They do run a little bigger than the size chart suggests. According to the size chart, I'm at the low end of the S range, but I bought the XS and it's a nice relaxed fit.

I am a volunteer in search and rescue. When I'm called out, I often don't know whether I'll be working at a computer in the cab of a truck, hiking through rough terrain, flying a drone, or paddling a kayak. Base layers are key to staying comfortable enough to work effectively. Smartwool base layers are comfortable next to the skin and wick sweat really well. Unlike synthetics, wool doesn't retain body odor. I always carry a spare to and bottom base layer in a dry bag in my backpack. Smartwool base layers are an outdoor professional's best friend.

I bought the crew and bottoms for a trip where I will need a very warm base layer and am very pleased with this selection. I recently wore the top and bottoms for outdoor exercise on a single digit temperature day with fleece pants and top and this top was comfortable, warm and not itchy. I typically wear XS, this was snug (not constricting), but I wanted a close fit since I plan to wear it under other layers. It's very attractive so I could wear it alone if I choose.

Everyday. I wear these Smartwool tops instead of cotton tees. During winter they layer perfectly under a flannel shirt. I have several colors. They feel so good and breathe even on warmer days.

I have several of these. It's almost all I wear year round. Love the pink color! So vibrant. Great length for keeping drafts out of my low back and staying toasty in the outdoors.

I use this shirt as a winter shirt under sweaters. Very warm and soft and the BONUS it's machine washable and I can put it in the dryer!!!!

Smartwool's tops are essential to keep me warm in the winter as I work outside with horses. Due to the wonderful wicking wool, these tops help me stay cool during the summer as well. I am a fan, Smartwool!

After buying one of these for my sister, I bought one for myself and then for my mom! They fit well and the colors are beautiful. And the wool never stinks, unlike synthetic fabrics! Can it many times before washing.

This top is comfortable and warm. It is not too heavy and fits comfortably under my tops. I am 5'7" and weigh 135 lbs and the medium fits perfectly. I have long arms and the sleeve length is perfect. This is a great product.

I live in San Francisco, which has a mostly cool climate. Wearing this top and a down vest I can deal with all weather conditions. It is great for hiking!

I really love these Smartwool base layers and I have bought 5 of them in different patterns. I've also bought a matching 1/4 zip base layer in one style. The colors and designs are so vibrant, and I always get compliments when I wear them. The slim-fitting cut is more flattering than other base layers I own and I like wearing these tops on their on without covering them up with other layers whenever possible. The material is soft, lightweight and warm and never itches. Washing and drying them is easy and I don't need to wash them each time I wear them. I highly recommend Smartwool!
