They fit just like they should and the sizing is correct. The waistband is very comfortable! They fit easily under jeans. They are heavy enough to keep me warm and dry but do not go overboard with the heat.

As a consistent purchaser of smartwool socks, I was already familiar with the high quality delivered by smartwool. Well as winter approached I decided I wanted to get a nice pair of long johns and to my surprise, I learned that smartwool made these and ordered a pair. Shipping was expedient, and as soon as they arrived they were pretty much glued to my legs for the next 3 days and over that course of time, the bottom half of my body forgot what cold even was. Do note that these bottoms do have a bit of a high rise on the waist. I'm 5' 11'' and they nearly reach my belly button.

A bit thicker and warmer than some other brands of wool underwear I have tried. Can't go wrong with Smartwool.

Perfect for outdoor sports.

I'm not a hiker or a snowboarder. I'm not likely to climb Everest or compete in a dog sled race across the straits of Alaska. I suspect a lot of you that have happened past this review aren't either. Probably, like me, you work in the cold in the winter, maybe sit in a deer stand on the weekends. I'm not even sure how to pronounce " merino" cause I've never heard anyone actually speak the word. But i can tell you without hesitation it works. I watch people shiver all winter while I am comfortable. Burn your cotton long johns. Smartwool is worth every penny.

These are perfect for fishing guides in Montana- spring and fall weather- and great for ice hockey and ski season.

I used this product six days in a row while on an elk hunt and it provided comfort, breath ability and warmth during huge swings in weather and periods of perspiration.

I have an issue with my knees getting uncomfortably cold, especially when i stay the night in tahoe. When i have these wonderful things its like having toe warmers or baby dragons breathing a nice warmth around my knees. A+

I bought these for my husband who would never put a pair of long johns on, ever. The moment he tried them on he loved them. Since then he now owns 5 pairs and sleeps with them every night. The seamless construction is amazingly comfortable (I own the women's version) and the high quality of the merino wool regulates your body temperature amazingly. Truly the best base layer out there.

These bottoms are great. They were warm at the top of the mountain. I skied and didn't feel like I had sweat. When we finished, they were still dry and warm. Amazing product!
