These were a half size maybe even a whole size too small. I have been wearing Mizunos for 15 years and never encountered this before. I am sending back for the next 1/2 size up.

In waverunner 21, I was a solid 7.5. In this version of waverunner, 7.5 hurts my feet too much to run in them.

Road running Up to 1/2 marathon/triathlon distance . I Waited since March for the new wave rider model. So disappointed. I Feel like I'm running flat footed. (I have med to high arches). Can't get proper push off. My hips are stiff and hurting by mile 4. I Still find these tight in the toe box. I have been wearing, and loving, Mizuno's since probably the 16 model. But these last two revisions have left me literally hurting.

I bought these after wearing other Wave Riders for years - unfortunately after 2 weeks they started hurting and instead of getting more comfortable as they broke in they got worse. To make this worse Mizuno refuses to let me return them for a refund, not very admirable customer service and return policy. I will be thinking 2 or 3 times before I purchase another pair of Mizuno's.

I have running in both the wave rider waveknit and the wave rider for several years and love them, so I was really disappointed when I first put these on and felt my toes pressed against the front of the shoe. I even triple checked to see that I had received the correct size. I think they run at least a half size smaller than the previous editions. In the past, I have found that different colors of the same Mizuno shoe sometimes can feel slightly different, but I have never gotten a shoe that was way too small before. Other than being small, the shoe is really cute. I did take them for a short run and they felt good other than killing my toes.

I've worn Mizunos in the past and loved them. I thought I would try the new waveknit. This shoe runs SO SMALL. I am consistently a 9.5 in pretty much all running shoes. I got the wide because I have wider feet. This shoe is at least a full size if not two sizes small and it is not wide. I wore them for a little run around the block to test them out and my feet hurt like I had worn heals for a night. I was really looking forward to my new running shoes, unfortunately I'll have to keep wearing my old ones a little longer.
