These were supposed to be a size 11 as indicated on the shoe label, but they clearly were not. Possibly mismarked? Purchased from a local shoe store instead & their size 11 in the same style/brand fit perfectly.

Great looking she BUT definitely not the most comfortable. These ran 1/2 size smaller. I am an 8 and 8.5 fit okay. Material is VERY hot and sweaty-not breathable. Fit nicely across the widest part of my foot but narrow at the toes. Arch support is okay but not great. Mizunos used to be my favorite sneaker but this pair was disappointing.

I’d say these are a full size small. Also, felt narrow. The tongue is attached to the sides, making for an awkward feel around my foot. If not for the tongue, I would have kept. The rest of the shoe felt very stable and supportive.

I have worn the Mizuno waver riders since 2015 and have probably 15 pairs. I decide to try the wave rider waveknit and I don't think they have the same fit as the regular wave riders. They bother the top of my foot and i feel like I need to adjust the tongue all the time. I am not unhappy with them, but i will go back to the regular wave riders the next time.

I love the look of these shoes, but I'm giving the three stars because they hurt my feet. I have worn Mizuno's for years because they are the only running shoe I have found that don't hurt my heel because they generally have a relatively low cut compared to other shoes. However, these have a different design than previous models and come up higher on the heel which causes my heel to get inflamed, so I can't wear them.

I have worn Muzuno for years and had to send my last two pairs back. Mizuno has the best arch support for my high arch but this time my big toe hit the end of the toe box. I would have reordered but the next 1/2 size was not available. I'll try again later I suppose.
I'd also recommend:
Hoka is my next go to, but prefer more arch support.

I like the look and they are perfect fit. Today I ran the second time with them though and was not very impressed. My feet got really hot and either they are a bit heavier or have less cushion because at the end of my run one of my knees was in trouble. Hope I can run next week. Will have to get back to my previous running shoes (previous version of wave runners) for a little while. Mizuno are still my favorite running shoes but I really miss my very first old pair (also wave runners - the pink ones with light green - loved them!)

I bought this shoe because it says it provides support for supination. It does just the opposite. It rolls my feet further out while running and causes significant discomfort in the arches and balls of my feet. I have had to shorten my runs more than once because of the pain. The rubber soles seem very cheap and started to wear out after only a few runs and there is no cushioning whatsoever. Overall the shoe does not fit its description.

These were about a size too small. There is no way these were the correct size, my toes were smashed into the toe bed. I wear a 7.5 in all my shoes and all 4 of my other Mizunos.

i used to wear Mizuno Wave runner and came back to try this one. Weird feeling footbed, too much padding under ball and arch had nothing underneath. Also tongue is attached on the sides which was a surprise. I got my usual 10W women’s and it was difficult to get my foot into it because tongue is attached. felt tight overall, returning.

I've worn many pairs of the Wave Rider for many years and liked them a lot. But the new wave knit is disappointing. It has this weird flap of fabric inside at the base of the tongue. The stitching irritated the top of my foot. I call the manufacturer and was told this is a new change that will now be on all of their wave rider models. It's supposed to keep the dirt and gravel out, but I've never had trouble with that before. Please, Mizuno, go back to the old design.

I've been wearing these shoes for years, but this version was a real disappointment. There is a weird piece of fabric attached to the tongue that has stitching that is rigid and very uncomfortable on the top of my foot. It's a strange design.

Very disappointed. These are really cute, I had another pair of Mizuno's that I liked and fit well, but these are just not the same. They run at least a full size small and are narrow - I ordered wide. The main problem I had with this pair is they are very tight at the base of the laces. Its sewn, so no way to loosen that area.

Sole ripped within first 3 weeks of wearing for work. Poorly made and not as supportive as previous pairs of Mizunos I have purchased. Style was nice and versatile, but I would not recommend purchasing for the price.

I run around 20 miles a week and always mix up which shoes I'm using. I started in Mizunos and moved away from them for a bit, and came back a few years ago. It's always a little disconcerting to try on the next new pair. These Wave Rider 24s disappointed me. The fit is good (for me), and they feel soft (to me), and yes, there is a little something where the tongue is sewed in, but it smooths out just fine (for me). The treads, however, offer no cushioning whatsoever and the skin on my foot as well as my foot is SORE after running in these. They are now used for walking and I am on the lookout for replacement runners.

I was quite disappointed with this iteration of the Wave Rider, I have been running in these shoes for 19 years. They are too small in the toe box, needed to size up half a size I think. I was hoping that they would get better after breaking in but no luck.

My first pair of these shoes, same style, size etc. were so much more comfortable. At least twice the padding and comfort. I was sold on Mizuno. Now, not so much.

I usually wear an 8 wide. I ordered 8.5 wide and could barely get my foot in the shoe. I would need at least a 9 or possibly a 9.5. I like the cushioning but the elastic sleeve inside the shoe is way too tight over my high instep. Very disappointed.
I'd also recommend:
Saucony ST2 or New Balance 411 for high instep

I loved the color of these shoes and I love Mizuno’s fit and comfort, but these were different. I got them half a size bigger, like I always do with this brand. They were tight and really rubbed my big toe to the point I had to take them off. I’ll return.

I had the regular Mizuno Wave Rider. Those took a bit to break in, but with time I liked the shoe. However, I decided to try the Waveknit. They felt terrible and got worse. I tried tying them so many different ways, but every time I put them on, my feet hurt more. I thought I was imagining it, but areas of my foot were turning red when I wore them. I finally bought a different type of shoe and my feet feel so much better.

I am a women's size 7.5-8 in regular shoes and have been wearing the wave rider waveknit for a few years in women's size 8.5 and mens size 7. These are not the same shoe! The tongue of the shoe is too thin lacking padding and the edge of the shoe around the toe box is firm and does not give. It also feels a bit less cushioned than the last version. Women's size 9 is too big (too much room for foot to slide around in toe box) and the usual size 8.5 is apparently too small! I bought them and wore them for 3 days, after the second day my big toe and the top of my foot felt bruised! I am very disappointed. I loved the previous version because I could wear them all day (I coach at Orangetheory Fitness) and workout in them and my feet never hurt! Go back to the Waveknit R2 design!
