I always have loved North Face products but my backpack came broken. There was a hole in the second smaller zippered pocket inside the bag that lets all my items fall through to the main compartment of the bag. I am a student so I don't have time to wait 6-8 weeks to get it fixed, still usable but I am very disappointed.

My daughter has been using this backpack for a year and a half. After the first 6 months, the top handle started to split. Now she has holes starting on the bottom. She doesn't drag it- so I'm not sure how this is happening. I had a backpack from a competitor last me all 4 years of high school AND 4 years of college. I was hoping to at least make it half as long with this one. It's pretty and in trend but just doesn't last.

I mean like it's cute but the jesters are not very spacious, I fit my small laptop plus only 2 1' inch binders, not much anything else

It's a really nice backpack, it was just big for my small frame. Other than that, it's good.

I made this purchase being impressed with the quality of the material at my school bookstore. I ended up purchasing it online. I was happy with everything but the storage space in the zipper area. Surprisingly small. I considered returning it, but decided not to take the time, since I am dealing with the financial aid gap and paying for pocket until I can get reimbursed. I ran out of room between my A&P class and lab with notebooks, textbooks, folder and pencil case; I really didn't fit it comfortably. Just a warning!

I think that this product is great for smaller storage, but couldn't hold a ton in it

I use this product for school and it's good overall but it's a pretty tight fit. I have two 2"inch binders, a laptop, 3 folders and a 5 section notebook but other than that, I can barely put my lunch in it. And it's not even a lunch bag, I just put a bunch of small containers in the front compartment but my laptop charger is in there too so it hardly allows for anything extra. And I carry my water bottle cause it can't fit in the side pockets. My car keys can barely fit in the side pocket.

I really wanted this backpack to work; I loved the color, the style, the durability and the roominess. My only disappointment with this product was that the straps were too short; the men's version is perfect. North Face missed the mark on this feature.

I got this for school and it is WAY too small. It can barely hold my notebook, laptop, and binder. I wouldn't recommend getting this backpack for school, maybe hiking or travel, but not school. It is really cute and feels durable, but it just isn't a practical size for school.

I bought this backpack for college. I was really excited when I opened it, but found that it did not work for me. For one, it is a little heavy even when empty. The backpack was also too long for me. I'm 4'11 and it sat very funny on me, especially after I put my books in it. I'm sure it would work for someone taller though. I also found the straps to be very scratchy and stiff as well. But I would recommend it to someone a little taller and with a lighter load to carry daily to class.

Im in high school, and I use this backpack all day at school on a big campus. I usually have to carry most of my books and binders all at once, however the backpack doesn't fully let me have that much room. I have to shove all my binders in there and constantly how to run back to my locker to put my stuff away. However, it is very durable so I can get a lot of use out of it.

I ordered this online and loved the design, but it was too small to fit my binders and notebooks that I carry for class. It could only fit 2 binders in at a time. I returned and bought the Borealis backpack.

Nice design and lightweight! It was a little too small for me; I just wish the straps were longer. The padding is great but something you'll have to get used to if you've never had it before (like me). Overall great quality but smaller than I expected.

I am a female college student with chronic back issues. I purchased this backpack for its durability, comfort, and functionality. I give the Jester a 3-star rating because, although it can comfortably absorb a lot of weight (unlike Jansport), there are some aspects of this backpack that are less than impressive. Given that The North Face is known for hiking and all-weather products, you would think that this backpack would be waterproof, but it isn't. The space inside both the main and secondary pockets is quite limited, making it difficult to fit a two-inch binder, average sized textbook, pens/pencils, and small laptop. Overall, this is a good quality backpack and I am sure it will last a long time. However, simple changes could make this decent backpack just perfect. I am hoping The North Face will release a simple backpack like the Jester, with a larger carrying capacity and waterproof material- I am sure I am not the only one who would purchase and benefit from such a product. I am relatively unsatisfied with the Jester, but do not plan on returning it. Good backpack, just not the best for a college student. If you are a college student, I recommend browsing Adidas products.

The back part started wearing and tearing so that chunks of the padding came out. I'm not sure how or why since I don't wear anything that would rip it. It is a top heavy bag and constantly falls over on itself. It doesn't protect my laptop on the bottom on top so I'm constantly worried about it's safety - it got dented today. Otherwise, it's good and functional and a pretty color.

Shoulder straps' material ripped after 3 months. Not worth the money. Wish the quality was better for this price.

I am not happy with this backpack. It only has 1 big pocket and one small pocket in the front that is super flimsy and will unzip all the way and have all your contents spill

If it doesn't fit a 1 inch binder in comfortably what's the point of the backpack?
Who designs these things?? Good luck fitting in more than two things in there, It's not wide enough.
Kids today have really big water bottles, barely fits in a sleeve on the side. Forget about a laptop or snack.
It's not worth the money.. I'm a super disappointed.
