Is a nice looking backpack but it does not have nearly the storage we expected. It is probably better suited for a professional or college student. The storage is not adequate for a middle schooler who would also look to put a lunch bag in along with a laptop and couple of books.

To tell it frankly, I give it a 3.5. I love North Face and it's a wonderful company, but as someone who is tall (5' 9") this backpack is too short on the body. I do love how I can get on my bike and bike to my nearest campus and building without having any issues, but at the same time, while walking it is too short. To say it frankly, I would make the body a little bit bigger to support taller women. Another thing I would change about this is how many pockets it has. It has one big pocket, and one half pocket. If you carry a lot of things, this backpack is not for you. I normally only carry my laptop, Ipad, charger, headphones, bike lock, so this backpack can fit all of that - however, if you are anything like my girlfriend, she carries notebooks/pens/paper/pencil/headphones/laptop/lunchbox, this backpack is too small for you. At the end I still love north face and it is VERY DURABLE, however, as an engineer's perspective somethings should change.

I bought this for my granddaughter bc she loved the look of it. However, as other reviewers have said, it's much too small to carry everything she needs & she's only in 8th grade. The bigger one didn't have the same ties & so, in 8th grade, it's all about the look!

I got this backpack for freshman year of high school and while it's nice quality I was expecting it to be bigger. I can't fit all my books along with my computer and notebooks. The front pocket also isn't a whole pocket and goes about halfway down the bag.

This is week made and would be perfect for hiking. I bought it for college and it's a little small for my laptop and books.

Nice backpack. We bought for my daughter for school. She said the straps were uncomfortable (they may have needed to be broken in) and it was to long and narrow for a regular school backpack so we returned it. Over all a nice backpack it just didn't work for our needs

I'm a nursing student; got the Jester to try something new since I've had the same backpack for YEARS. Was disappointed because you can BARELY fit a small laptop, planner, and two inch binder in it. I have to have extra things such as a stethoscope, and I knew it wouldn't fit. Also, I had to leave a lot of things out that my old bookbag could fit. My least favorite thing about it was the front pocket; it makes the bookbag really top heavy and it falls over and spills out everything unless it is leaning up against something; wish the pocket went all the way to the bottom. Loved the comfort but wish it was bigger, had to send it back. I would, however, recommend this backpack to someone else if they don't have to lug around as much as I do.

My daughter bought this for high school and it's not wide enough to fit her three-ring binders. She took the tags off, so we will keep it for other uses, but she needs a new bag for her class materials.

Super cute and sturdy material but too small for what my daughter has to carry around for Middle School.

Taking this back pack to college. It is a great size for my laptop and a few essentials plus a sweatshirt if needed. gave it three stars because the mesh on the interior of the straps irritates my shoulders.

Love the bag. It's holds my books, computer and other essentials as well as my water bottle. I don't like that my bag had several dirty spots on it when I received it but I was able to wash them out.

This was purchased for my daughter for high school. It is a very nice looking bag and good quality but needs to be speaker. The bags is not accommodate the binders and textbook or six academic classes.

So I bought the product for school. I thought there where two big pockets but there's only one big pocket and like half of a pocket. It seems durable so I'll give it that.

It's a beautiful backpack; however the bottle holder only holds bottles with 16oz capacity. Not suited for a long day in the office.

I'm a sophomore in high school and this doesn't have enough pockets for me. It has one pocket besides the front pocket and I need more room. Not worth the price.

If you are wanting a middle/high school pack pack, don't buy this. Perfect for young children under 10. Great quality and very durable. Cute too!

Well made. Good size but too top heavy if you put things in the front top pocket

When you put a lot of things in the front pocket, the front becomes very floppy, which I found annoying.

Good quality materials and attractive looking bag, but for me there are 2 design flaws.
(1) The small pocket falls totally open when fully unzipped (the front pocket material falls to rest flat against the elastic straps on the front of the bag), so loose items will fall out if you aren't careful.
(2) There is no waist strap to secure the bag while moving around; I got this bag partly as a day pack for hiking so this is a real bummer.

I like how slim the backpack looks but I don't know how it's suppose to be a 27L pack. I can fit more into my old 22L backpack I got from Osprey. I love the design and look but it barely fits my lunch, notebook, and laptop.
