Very comfortable. Would have liked the structure of the leather to be a little stiffer.

Great sole comfort and cushioning. Kind if rough around the ankle.

Could use better arch support. I would like to see some styling vs the plain toe and still have the grey sole option.

I like this show a lot but I was surprised when the bottom rubber/sole was light grey instead of white. I guess I didn’t look close enough at the pictures but it’s a bit hard to see online. The grey color is fine but I would’ve preferred white.

The Holden plain toe shoe really looks nice for business or if you just want to wear with jeans.

I like the way the insole molds to my feet for a comfortable walk. So far, the only issue is the stiff back rubs too hard, interfering with making long walks. Hopefully, over time it will loosen up.

I'm looking forward to when the wide is back in stock. I'm sure the rating will then be close to perfect.

The intent of the shoe is comfort while being formal enough to wear with a suit. The shoes tore up my heels. there's a ridge at the heel top seam that was brutal. I'm not sure when I will try again. I did not experience this with other hybrid type dress shoes.

Good looking shoe, wanted to love it. Usually 12M from J&M fits me well"but not with these shoes. Too tight, rubbed blisters on my heels. Sending back, will try another style.

I was expecting a comfort same as ColeHann grand zero. It isn't. It runs and hurt too of my heel on the left.

I have purchased and enjoyed more that 10 pairs of JM shoes. These are a let down. Appearance: good Toe box: comfortable Heal box: stiff and does not conform to feet. The material is stiff and my first attempt was to use my hands to soften this area of my shoes. Now, I've purchased aftermarket heel grabs to hopefully prevent future blisters.

Runs small, I'm a true 10.5 M but had to get an 11 M. Shoe is kind of stiff and hoping they brake in. Not up to the standards of J&M in my opinion.

This size is a half size too small. It's also very noisy on hard surfaces

Lot more comfortable than it looks, this probably the plainest looking shoe in the JM line. It is surprisingly comfortable. With the low gray sole it does not look like it but there is comfort. the style is very very plain. I have wide feet and wear orthotics and have found JM shoes really very on their toe box widths a lot. As this has broken in, I may have not needed the wide's, and I have a regular width on my Upton laces up which are the best. But others that do not have the same toe box. Wish there were more stores that carried the shoes so they could be tried on first.

I ordered this shoe in a 9.5 M and it's definitely too narrow. I bought the Parsons Plain Toe in the same size and it fit like a glove. Didn't realize there would be that big of a difference between the two styles.
