I ran 50K with these shoes before my review. The shoes is good. Construction quality looks great. It will certainly last 500-600 miles, depending on use. However, being a huge fan of the Sense Ride line up (1 and 2), there are few drawbacks and things I am not convinced about the shoes: - the 3 is heavier than the 2, firmer and with almost no cushioning - it feels a less aggressive Speedcross under my feet that a Sense Ride 2 (although the arch support is not the same of the Speedcross) - it can be very sweaty, the upper is not breathable - it feels slow, I struggle to pick up the pace with these shoes, while with the Sense Ride 2 it was much easier - it is not an easy shoe like the Sense Ride 2; you need to carefully think your lacing to have a proper lockdown; the Sense Ride shoes was more a wear and run shoe Definitely a good solid shoes, for softer trails though. The Sense Ride 2 was good for harder ones too and definitely my go-to-shoes for those road to trail sections. I recommend the Sense Ride 3 as a winter trail shoes, for softer ground and for those run trails back to back. But do not expect a successor of the Sense Ride 2, the feeling of running in them has changed a lot. This is an evolution of that shoes, a different shoes in my opinion.

I am satisfied as it is overall a good quality and comfortable shoe. However, when I opened the box, I noticed they had some factory flaws that you just wouldn't expect on a shoe at this price point. The sole on one shoe is not properly glued on, and theres glue spilling out of it. There were some paint stains on the white sole on both shoes, which I had to scratch off. There were also a few loose threads on the upper material on both shoes. I was a bit taken aback by that, not gonna lie.

Great shoe, great midsole! Its a shame, my feet do not like the tongue-material. Too dense. The material does not breathe at all. Also the bootie-wrap is too dense. All the breatheability of the outer construction is gone. That does not make sense. It's a running shoe. Not for surfing or swimming, where neopren makes sense. It's a dealbreaker. Otherwise a perfect shoe.

I bought these a few months ago after my sense ride 2s started getting too many miles on them. I absolutely loved the 2s, so I had high hopes for the 3s. Unfortunately I've been disappointed. The 3s feel significantly more bulky and heavier, which is a feel that I don't super appreciate. I look for protection on challenging terrain without compromising feel and connection with the terrain in my trail runners, and these don't give me that. These shoes are part of my rotation of different trail runners I use on my various runs, and over time I find myself reaching for these less and less frequently when I'm heading out to the trails. I feel like this is a move away from what made the sense ride 2s a great trail running shoe.

I bought these shoes about a month ago and loved their light weight, the grip, and the precise feel on technical trails. A few days ago I went for a long run and half way through I started getting a shooting pain on the side of my left foot, caused by the built-in sock sleeve and the unfortunate presence of the stitching. Somebody else pointed out to a similar situation in the reviews. It was so painful I had to stop and limped all the way back. Two days after I am still in pain.

I really like this shoe, I've had them for 3 months no and they've already started to disintegrate... rapidly. I really don't think they'll last much longer. It's such a great shoe but sadly not tough enough for technical trail running.

Although this is a quality product, the toe box, like most other salomon shoes, is too narrow for me. No a good purchase for me.

Cons: Bought these thinking that they would have a more cushioned ride based on the website. Not so! Also, tongue tends to want to move towards front of shoe, doesn't stay extended. Pros: Great grip uphill and downhill

Compared to the version 1 and 2's these are trash. Been a huge fan of Salomon for a long time but my god you ruined this shoe. Go back to whatever you were doing before. Stop changing it
