I've been in these shoes for about 2 months now and have done a number of trail runs in them. 15km, 17km and 35km and they're really comfortable over those distances. No issues at all. They're also good over a variety of terrain, but avoid in the very wet as the grip isn't designed for that. Very strongly recommended.

A super durable shoe that could easily be used for trail running or hiking. Quickly becoming one of my all time favorite Salomon shoes. That is saying plenty since I have been wearing Salomon trail shoes for 16 years. Get them while you can!! :)

Wanted to love these shoes as really liked the style, but the toe box was just too narrow. Like the quick lace system, and other laced Salomon fit better, but these just didn't feel comfortable in narrower toe.

First off, I wear a women’s 9, maybe 9.5 in awkward pumps. I ordered a men’s 8 which is the equivalent of a women’s 10 wide. I did this is give me a little room to allow my foot to expand. I could not even put on this shoe it was so darn small let alone stand or walk in it. WTF is up with these sizes?!!!

I do not like these shoes and I'm a Solomon loyalist. Toe box is narrow and not tall enough. The differential lends too much weight to the forefoot. The transition from heel to toe is awkward and feels out of balance.

It doesn't matter if it's road or trail, this shoe is awesome for both conditions and is my go to shoe for trips where I'm be doing both activities. Great support, and last 500+.

I have used many pairs of these, and it is my training and race 'go to shoe'. I do use other Salomon shoes e.g. S-Lab Cross, XA Amphib and the Ultra Pro etc, different shoes for different conditions and distances. With most types of terrains and distances up to 60KM the Sense Ride is still the best Salomon shoe for me. Great to see the Sense Ride 4 is out!!

I already have my third pair going. Perfectly suitable for all kind of running from after work running with my dog to the long ultra races on all kind of terrains.
Out of the box, it might feel a bit stiff but after getting in some kilometres, it feels just perfect. Even on the longer races, you can rely on this shoe!

Just bought my 4th pair of Sense Ride 3's and I couldn't be happier! Amazing fit, perfect amount of cushioning for trail/ road (and even fell) running, brilliant lace-up system, easy to keep clean etc.

I bought this shoe hoping to use it in the winter for snow covered paved trails in my local park. The fit of the shoe is very accommodating while not feeling too heavy. For prolonged periods on pavement I've found this shoe is a bit rough on my feet. The cushioning is semi-firm and would be better at home on the trails. I look forward to using it more on the dirt come springtime.

I bought these shoes two months ago and they were comfortable from the get-go. Not much of a break in period at all. They have better traction than the old sense ride model and are actually true to size. The only thing I changed was the color of the shoelaces.

I'm about 40 miles in on these so far, they're true to size and have ample space in the mid and upper foot, something I've found very limited in other brands' trail runners. Some users have commented these are on the heavier side, I didn't feel these were any heavier than other trail shoes I've worn... These are great for their intended use, I also use them on road runs, great traction in the wet. Took me some time to get used to the quick-lace system but I'm quite fond of it now! Solid shoe that I'd hike, run or hit street on! Pretty happy.

The sense 1 and 2 are great shoes but salmon nailed with the 3 ! Just right amount of cushion and still feeling the trail; fast and durable. I've bought three pairs so I have them for long time. My favourite shoe for 25 km run.

I have been wearing Sense Rides for years. I recently purchased the newest model (Sense Ride 3) and really like the minor changes. Last weekend I ran a 25K in them and they performed great!

I have had these showed a couple months. They do not disappoint, they were super comfortable right out of the box. When running off road they provide plenty of grip for my local trails.

This shoe holds up to hard trail running. I've put about 40 miles on them and they feel very supportive, tough and flex where they should.

I use this shoe primarily to play disc golf in. I came from using the adidas Terrex shoes. I prefer these shoes over the adidas Terrex. They provide fantastic grip and are very comfortable. Perhaps, my favorite aspect of these shoes is the lacing system. They are super comfortable to put on and take off. The laces are secure and very effective. I would highly recommend to anyone playing a sport where some grip is needed. I will definitely be sticking with Salome from now on.

I bought the Sense Ride 3 to replace my Honka Speed Goat. I run about twice a week a 9 miles loop consisting of 50% road, 15% maintained park trails and 35% hill trails with some nasty rocks and dead wood (a piece of wood went through my Speed Goat once). So I was looking for a lighter shoe with good trail grips, some protection that runs well on road and trails. The Sense Ride 3 just does that. It proved to be a great combination that exactly meets my needs. It sizes a bit small though -- I should have ordered a 1/2 size larger (but I have a weird longer middle toe). My foot is however well supported without being tight (much better on rocky trails than the looser fit of the Speed Goat).

Love everything about these shoes. Grip has been great, upper is comfortable and fits very well, quicklace is much better than traditional laces and optivibe is the best midsole material ever! Havent wanted to run in any other shoes since I got them and have put 100 miles in them.

Have been a great shoe. They are said to be trail shoes, but running on pavement is just as comfortable and better than most shoes I have worn. I like the fit, feel and cushion they provide. From day 1, they have not bothered my feet one bit. I am truly a Salomon believer and will continue to buy their products as long as they keep making them like this. Only downside I have found is I don't like the way the laces tuck into the tongue. Have a another pair of the wilds and the laces tuck into the top, i prefer this over the way the sense rides tuck. Other than that, great shoe.
