Ich habe bereits den 2. Sense Ride 3.

The Sense Ride 3 looks great and fits well. I've never developed a "hot spot" on a Salomon shoe before, but I can't say the same for these. The grip and dexterity of the shoes are everything I'd hope for in a trail runner, but an area under the ball of my foot leaves something to be desired.

The Sense Ride 3's are a pure joy to have on your feet on trail or pavement!. The fit is true to size and they fit like a glove. The neoprene insert provides a custom and supportive feel. The ortho footbed offers a nice supportive yet shock absorbing platform for your feet while rolling over rocky terrain. The soft rubber sole with wide spaced out treads performs well in muddy conditions as well as in the sand. Reinforcement in the toe box protects your toes from jagged rocks and exposed roots. The Sense Ride 3's easily transitions to road work as well with its light, breathable and durable upper. These are my first pair of Salomons and definitely not last! I highly recommend the Sense Ride 3's as a trail shoe or all purpose trainer.

I've run in the Sense Ride 1's and Ultra Pros (just keeping it to Salomon). This third iteration of the Sense Ride is great. Quick lace works well (and fast). Upper is very comfortable and provides ample protection. Midsole is a great balance between responsiveness and cushion. Outsole provides plenty of traction, but also transitions well to road. Compared to the Sense Ride 1, it feels more substantial (and heavier) and the heel counter is less rigid in this third edition (I prefer the Sense Ride 3 to the 1).

I have had many pairs of salomons mostly speedcross. I like to wear while hiking and also a small amount of trail running. I just did 31 mile Pemi Loop in white mountains in these. My only problem is that they get wet easily. But I was aware of that. These are my favorite shoe so far by salomon.

Great shoe for the road to trail system. If the trails are not too challenging this shoe works well. Nice for those days of easy running at a moderate pace. I like the cushion and the soft ride.

Great traction and fit but there is no place for their own trail gaiter strap that goes under the shoe. I wish there was a more compatibility for those that need it

While the build of this shoe is not my atypical for me, I've yet to try a Salomon whip that I didn't like, so I figured I'd give the Sense Ride 3 a shot. After +/- 50 miles on varying terrain, I've come to the conclusion that Salomon has done it again--it's a great shoe. I've thrown down on rail trails, roads (blegh), flowy single-track, and rocky/techy southern NH trails with these shoes over the past couple of months and they've really grown on me. Despite the slightly taller stack height, they feel very stable and run well. They provide plenty of cush (aka comfort), especially if you're a heel strike kind of girl/guy. The upper cradles the foot nicely and provides plenty of room in the toe box for those with slightly wider feet (if your feet aren't wide, think about sizing down a half-size or so). They feel responsive for a shoe that's built for a comfortable ride and give the runner ample grip on rocks, roots, mud, and wet surfaces. All in all, this is a well-rounded shoe. I haven't gotten to give these a go up in The Whites yet, but I'm sure they'll prove to be a good shoe for longer, more relaxed days in the mountains. If you're looking for a smooth ride that leaves your feet and legs asking for more, this is a good option for you.

I've been running in this shoe for a few months now and have really enjoyed the versatility it offers. If I am headed out my door for a run and I am not really sure where I'll end up, I grab this shoe. The new cushion offers enough plushness to take the sting out of road sections and as soon as you hit dirt this shoe cruises for miles. Great all around traction and roomy but technical fit inspires confidence when things get tricky.

I have been wearing these for running on both country (paved) roads and for trails, not a ton of mileage but about 10 miles a week. The fit is good and the shoes are comfortable. I have had issues with plantar fascitis over the past six years and these were the best shoes for me when it comes to running and dealing with my PF issues. I tried to wear these this past weekend to hike/ ruck (with a 35 lbs pack) for 5 miles on a moderate trail in West Virginia. The shoes had good traction, especially on parts of the trail that was very wet and only slid some coming down a steep part of the trail that was wet once. When I cross streams it does take some time for them to dry out. The shoes were not really good for rucking... I would not recommend these to wear under rucking/ backpacking loads for long periods of time. I will go back to my X Ultras or give the XA Pro 3D a try for that. Just keep it to what they are made for... trail running.

Overall a stiffer more stable shoe for days when your body isnt quite feeling up to par. I like the overall feel of the shoe and feel very in control on icy/snowy fast descents. Upper seems to fit snug with no digging in the forefoot from the quick lace system. Love it!

I bought these 6 months ago to replace the Sense ride 2 shoe. They have been very comfortable. However, the sole has not lasted as long as hoped. I've had smart Salomon shoes and never has the wear on the sole been as quick or stark. Hopefully a more durable material can be developed for the next version. A real shame as the rest of it has been brilliant.

I really enjoyed this shoe while it lasted! They arrived in mid May and were used very lightly on some flat trail surfaces until July. As soon as I started getting back into mountain running, the lacing system began to fall apart on the right shoe. The stitching next to the eyelet completely came undone in the middle of a 15 mile ridge run! I really enjoyed the shoe but was disappointed by how short they lasted.

The Solomon Sense Rides GTX Invisible Fit are just OK, they're nice but nothing special. Definitely overhyped! I expected more :( I consider them lightweight, but they're not ultra lightweight sneakers. Yes, I think they will be durable compared to what some manufacturers put out as pathetic versions of plastic and foam sneakers. I would have not purchase these if they did not come in a All-Black Gore-Tex color-way. I was looking for something like the sporty S-Labs but in Gore-Tex. But again Salomon still does not make them, and I can't see buying Salomons if their not offered in Gore-Tex. I love the Salmon Speedcross 5 GTX even though they've made the toebox a little too sloppy now with a less of a performance fitment. But I wanted something with less aggressive tread's than the awesome Speedcross 5 GTXs. The Solomon Sense Rides GTX has nice protective asymmetrical toe protection which is important. The negatives are that the toebox is really wide, loose and boxy, as well as the overall fit. Unfortunately the Ortholite footbed is subpar and does NOT offer the cushioning and the quality arch support I expected and require. I was looking for something more for every day wear that was just as sexy and as well-made as the Speedcross 5 GTX, unfortunately Salomon has yet to make something like that :( To me they should just make a different version of the Speedcross 5's just with a less aggressive tread pattern like that of the Solomon Sense Rides, but what do I know I'm only a Creative Director/Designer ;) The midsole is pretty comfortable, but the overall design/shape is like an old mans sneaker.

Bought this a month ago - at first it felt great, solid construction extra cushion than I'm used to, however after a few runs I developed a bad pain shooting pain in my left metatarsal after each strike (I am a mid to forefoot striker). If you are used to a shoe with more minimal cushion and drop like me, this probably isn't the right shoe. The extra padding on the sides I think is pronating my foot too much to the inside creating the metatarsal problem. Wish I could like this shoe more as I know it works for some!

I ran 50K with these shoes before my review. The shoes is good. Construction quality looks great. It will certainly last 500-600 miles, depending on use. However, being a huge fan of the Sense Ride line up (1 and 2), there are few drawbacks and things I am not convinced about the shoes: - the 3 is heavier than the 2, firmer and with almost no cushioning - it feels a less aggressive Speedcross under my feet that a Sense Ride 2 (although the arch support is not the same of the Speedcross) - it can be very sweaty, the upper is not breathable - it feels slow, I struggle to pick up the pace with these shoes, while with the Sense Ride 2 it was much easier - it is not an easy shoe like the Sense Ride 2; you need to carefully think your lacing to have a proper lockdown; the Sense Ride shoes was more a wear and run shoe Definitely a good solid shoes, for softer trails though. The Sense Ride 2 was good for harder ones too and definitely my go-to-shoes for those road to trail sections. I recommend the Sense Ride 3 as a winter trail shoes, for softer ground and for those run trails back to back. But do not expect a successor of the Sense Ride 2, the feeling of running in them has changed a lot. This is an evolution of that shoes, a different shoes in my opinion.
