After logging some miles in the shoe I can say I love this shoe. I have wanted to wear the Salomon Sense shoes for years but they have always been too narrow and believe me I have tried; every year. I know the Speedcross is wider but I run on hard packed trail and they don't work. When I open the box on the SR3 and put them on I was in shock. They fit, they fit great,
please carry this fit to the Sense Pro's. Narrow footed speedsters can have the SLab range. The run has been great, love the optivibe, it does a great job. The heel felt a bit firm when running easy at first but not an issue as pace increases. Even so the heel seemed to soften some after about 50 miles. I love this shoe. The upper is comfortable and secure and lacing system is awesome. Please make the Sense Pro with the same upper fit and you will have a train and race combo for the normal footed population.

I was looking for a good pair pf disc golf ahoes and ran into Salomon. Tried some different models in REI and went ahead and bought the sense ride 3's online. The shoe is extremely comfortable and lightweight on the fight. I can move fast throwing off the teepad and not feel like im wearing hiking boots but I can still handle the terrain of some of the rockier hilly courses. The sensi fit wraps around the foot well and feels snug!
Cons of this shoe involve tucking the lace away after tightening and the clips being relatively cheap plastic. I broke one side of a clip off from hitting the soles together to shake them off. The intended lace pocket doesnt really work after you've tightened them down because the pocket gets sealed shut by the laces. I do something different to deal with it. I may be doing it wrong or it can be a design flaw. Refer to pictures
Overall best disc golf shoe on the market, buy it!

These running shoes are cush! The kicks mold to your feet and feel light as a feather. I can wear them all day and my feet do not overheat as they breathe exceptionally well.
I'd also recommend:

Keep making this shoe with this exact fit. This is definitely the best Sense Ride yet, don't change a thing!

Love these shoes on all trails! I've had several pairs of the Sense Ride and they never disappoint. It's an all around versatile shoe for various types of terrain.

I got these shoes about a month ago and they have been a fantastic do it all shoe.
I first spent some days walking around breaking them in and they are very comfortable/supportable while standing on your feet all day, breathe well and were the topic of some compliments.
I've only run in them a few times but I was able to put them through a variety of conditons: packed trail, mud, sand, loose gravel, snow, ice, little rock fields, and road (truly all in one run, gotta love mud season in Salt Lake City, Utah!).
They performed really well in pretty much all of the conditions (even the snow!). I was very impressed with the versatility. Definitely if you encounter ice, be a little careful as these won't save you (pretty rare running so I'll take that tradeoff), but even then they can still hang.
Overall impression- Comfortable, supportive, accurate fitting, breathes well and pretty water resistant. Could be a great one shoe quiver!
Durability I'm not sure of since I have only had them for such a short time but given my long time experience with Salomon and their proven track record of design/materials, I'm not too concerned.
Enjoy!

Salomon has made the most comfortable "all-day" runner on the market, and it's my go-to for long days in the hills or the back half of longer ultras. The foot support is unreal, and the Contragrip sole keeps high-performance in focus even as your mind and muscles fatigue. Buy 2 pairs and cycle them out to prolong the already ludicrous lifetime of this shoe. You won't regret it!

I have had this shoe now for a couple weeks! Bonus (no wear problems) I wear it running on the trails and then at work during my long standing shifts. The things I really like are the extra Comfort,Toe Room, Ground Feel, Cushion. Another great product!

Super smooth cruiser! Digging it's Door to Trail personality, 1.5 miles from my front to the trail head, and all with great road manners. On the trail the Contagrip is perfection; whether on hard pack, soft ground, or wet rock. The Profeel Film keeps your feet well protected. The upper is every bit a la Salomon! Fit is true to size and offers the right volume. Once the laces are set I've not adjusted them once on any run. Now comes the Optivibe. The Sense Ride 3 rolls super easy through the gate cycle, probably the best cushion to response of any traditional trail shoe in its class. Feet and legs feel FRESH after every run. Fantastic mid-foot stability. Absolute winner that can take on the road, a bunch of trail conditions, and short to very long distances. Nailed it!

I have had the chance to use them on a variety of terrain and the Sense Ride 3 really works from a versatility standpoint. I really like the improved/increased toe box. Ride is a bit firmer in the 3 compared to the 2 but I think that this is preferable as it offers better support and protection.

I am very happy with my purchase of the Ride 3.
Things that I like: Comfort (Wow), Deeper Lugs, Heel Hold, Toe Room, Ground Feel, Cushion.
Negative Attributes: I think this shoe would benefit from having a top pull (like the S Lab Ultra2) lace garage. The way the laces cross over the lace garage makes it difficult to tuck it away. I also have noted that the tongue can slide down during use causing a crease over the toes.

Finally got some longer trail miles with the new Sense Ride 3s over the weekend! Salomon has made some great improvements in the series! The 3s feel more cushioned and hug the foot better! The new models feels grippier than previous models and feel stable and confident when descending hard down technical trails. The upper also provides a good amount of air flow and even after a complete submerge, I found the shoe to drain quickly! Looking forward to many more mountain miles with these guys!

I've gone through so many pairs of the Sense Ride 2 not because they wear out easily, but because they've been my favorite trail shoe the last couple of years. Really good at a lot of things! Which I wouldn't say about most shoes...the Sense Ride 3 upgrades the 2 in some very minor ways without loosing any of what I loved in the 2. Just enough added cushion in these that gives you a nice little pep in the step and I'm super impressed in the road feel during dirt transitions. All day comfort, that ride you've come to love, and a dash of pick-up...the BEST shoe from Salomon made even BETTER. Incredible. Buy the SR 3 now!!

As a huge Sense Ride 2 fan, I was a little worried when I saw that they were being replaced with the SR3. I decided to give the 3s a whirl and so far I'm impressed! The 3 has a much more plush feel to it right out of the box and I see them being a great shoe to train long miles in. The fit feels just as comfortable to me as the 2. I'm excited to get some more miles in these!

This is my first introduction to the Sense Ride line, coming from running predominately in the Ultra Pro and Ultra 2s previously. My primary training grounds have me running a fair amount of vertical gain which is why I have stayed in the lane of high drop shoes. I have wracked up a lot of mileage on my Ultra Pros (which I absolutely love), but have been in the market for a daily trainer instead of putting so many miles on race shoes at a higher price point.
Right out of the box the SR3s have performed wonderfully. This weekend I ran them on loose, wet mud, varied snow/ice conditions, as well as dry, hard pack, and they performed optimally in all conditions.
The toebox is narrow (true to Salomon fit), but I found no discomfort while running down hill 3,000m+. The heel cup was surprisingly supportive and hugged the base of my achilles the way I had hoped it would. It was readily recognizable that the new Optivibe midsole was going to be a game changer as soon as I hit the downhill as the jarring I am accustomed to was significantly damped. The Contagrip outsoles continue to earn their credibility, especially on the snow and ice. Where others had stopped to add traction, I was able to go much further before donning spikes. Breathability never presented itself as an issue in any of this weekend's conditions; no overheating and sweating on dry hard pack, nor did I notice any absorption in the mud or snowy conditions.
In summary, I could not be more impressed with the SR3s. Marketed as a mid range trainer, this really does feel like an all-terrain, any conditions option in the quiver.
The only con to speak of, and this is more a personal preference than a functional concern, is that the lace garage is fed from the bottom of the tongue as opposed to the top. The last eyelet that the laces pass through lands about 1/4th of the way up the tongue and above the garage, which makes it a bit fussy to get the laces properly stored once the shoe is tightened as the laces are cinched against the garage. I haven't noticed any loosening mid-activity yet, but for the sake of an honest review this was the only note of personal preference that I could come up with.
As far as I am concerned the SR3s check all of the boxes for a go-to trail trainer.

I've had these for about a month now and have ran about 150 miles in them. I loved the Sense Ride and the Sense Ride 2 but these are even better. The added rock plate in the forefoot adds protection and durability, the new "bucket seat" in the heel really improves thy security of the fit, and the new traction pattern is an improvement in the grip department. Even with the additions this shoe still manages to feel fast on the trail! I'm excited to continue to run many miles in these!

These are a great improvement on the first 2 versions of the Sense Ride. They have great padding and feel softer than any other of Salomon's trail shoes. They also aren't too bulky and respond well on technical terrain. Great job guys!

These shoes are perfect for easy days on the trail and comfortable enough to wear to work. They have plenty of grip for most trails and are very responsive while maintaining a great amount of cushioning.

Straight from the get go, the new Sense Ride 3 is awesome. The design and feel of it is solid and smooth. Ive noticed the outsole rubber is holding up nicely on a variety of terrain without losing traction or wearing down fast. This makes it my go to shoe, especially for the longer miles/outings. The more time I spend training in the shoe, I realize that it's not as heavy as I would think it is. It not only feels light, but is responsive when I'm looking at picking up the pace. Plus the new color way adds some extra flavor and another reason to get a run in the shoe.
