I walk/hike daily and go through 3 or 4 pair a year. I have been wearing this model and it's predecessor over the last 18 months. The newest version was improved to change the interior material in the heel cup area to a fabric that slides and does not pull or wear out socks. Great arch support, traction and convenient speed lacing. Highly recommend.

The stability, comfort, durability and fit are perfect for me. Love this shoe! This is my third pair.

These shoes are the best ever. The support is superb and this is an easy shoe to get on and off.

These are a great improvement over the previous XA Pro 3D. Much lighter, less bulky, and the grip far exceeds the previous version on wet/slippery terrain. With the Brannock Device I measure US 11, these are true to size. I ordered a US 11, fit is perfect.

I own multiple pairs of Salomon shoes I have never been disappointed with any of their shoes. These follow suite they are an all-around amazing shoe. I use my Salomons every day. Great shoe awesome fit super-tough holds up whatever you can throw at them.

I have been using this shoe for years as a waterproof running and hiking shoe. It is very lightweight and holds up to miles of asphalt running and has great grip for trails. It is my single travel shoe for walking/rain/hiking and running. This new model is as good as ever. A great stability shoe.

The Xa Pro 3D V8 GTX are great, lightweight, supportive and water resistant shoes. Just what I was looking for. After a couple hundred miles of hiking, biking and running through the rocky mountains, these shoes still look brand new.

I bought these only a month ago and they are already amazing hiking shoes. I'm glad I got the low tops to allow for mobility when hiking trails. And the waterproofing is incredible!

Having wide feet I love these shoes through the trails. I have two knee replacements and they give me the confidence I need. My issue is they don't make a wide shoe with highest cushioning level like this for the gym and for a walking.

Good shoes, but Salomon continues to make shoes a bit smaller than the labeled size would suggest.

I took advantage of the $129 sale price and bought a 10 and a 10.5 as my size can vary from shoe to shoe. One of my favorites is a 9.5 wide. Anyway, the 10.5 I felt that my ankle was always slippingnot good. I tried on with fresh Smartwool socks (sry) of differing types (hike/run); full crew vs ankle height; as well as padding (targeted, full, Light). The 10 was perfect for size but had a minor, yet concerning 'defect' on the outer sole where glued to the toe. There was a small indentation filled with gluebarely noticeablebut I thought would lead to or add additional stress when being stretched. I would have kept the 10s but instead tried a different pairthe Forsake trail shoe. I won't elaborate but not my styleI should have kept the Salomon's!
