Perfect shoe for an outdoor adventure what ever the weather

Really happy with these XA PRO 3D v8 GORE-TEX, very comfortable to use. After bedding in these are now my go to trainers, as comfortable as my speedcross trainers.

Quality shoes, excellent customer service and fast delivery, would highly recommend.

Love this model - cannot believe how comfortable and supportive the footwear is - so good 'you don't realise you're wearing them'.

I bought 14 pairs of Salomon over 15 yrs. And that's juts for myself. I bought more for family and recommended to many other people. I'd estimate, around 40 pairs of Salomon over the years (just in case Salomon wanted to reward me for these services ;). The good: The Pro are my fourth pair. They don't need to be broken in, they just fit me right from the box. I don't buy the wide version but they are wide enough for me (SpeedCross are uncomfortably narrow for me to add some comparison). They are waterproof. I have never had a problem with them leaking water. Even when the outer fabric broke (to that later). The sole last reasonably long. The latest one have really nice color (light blue) that is not offered anymore. The front rubber toe is very good from hitting my toes. The not so good: They are constantly out of stock. I know it's pandemic but please, fix it. They are expensive. And getting more expensive every year. The bad: They break too easy on side, where they flex. There is really no point to have the rest of the shoe build tougher if this is the weak point. Figure out how to make it better otherwise we're all throwing out 90% perfect shoes because this little part fails. The sole wears pretty fast (not as fast as your other shoes but still). Connected to the previous, the shoes could be build lighter and thinner as what fails is not the shoes but the sole and the flexy part. On the first generations, the lacing always broke but it wasn;t problem in the past 10 yrs. So, you can fix weak points. Do ti again. Despite these problems, they are still the best shoes on the market. Oh, that reminds me: Do NOT mess with the overall design or stop making them. Do NOT try to reinvent what's nearly perfect. Great quality, fit and colours - love them! Highly recommend Great for hiking or running

I have used these to climb a mountain every day this year. The terrain is HARD. They have been incredibly comfortable and I have worn them hard and nonstop. The granite gravel is a shoe killer and very slippery. These shoes have dealt with it in rain and shine. Only one problem is 4 months of this treatment has killed them. RIP

I have found these shoes very good for hiking in Thailand. I thought the Gore-Tex might be too hot during jungle treks, but they are worth it when crossing shallow streams and in muddy conditions. They offer good support when climbing although I do notice some insole slippage on steep downhills. The lace system takes some getting used to, and usually need to be tightened once after a few minutes of walking. I have used them for day hikes, some trail running and multi-day non-technical mountain climbs in 5C to 35C temperatures and they have not let me down.

My do it all shoe. Trailruns, Hikes, City walks. I feel very confident when I put these shoes on. They can handle about any terrain and weather condition that I encounter. comfortable and lightweight.

I have used this pair on my trips to the Tetons, Yellowstone, Death Valley and Zion and so far I am really impressed with the grip, lightness and overall performance of these shoes. The arch-support is fantastic and I can walk for miles without any fatigue. I have also received compliments on their looks ( black pair ).

By far the most comfortable and longest lasting shoe around. These are all that I will buy. I am in the boating industry and they have great traction on wet surfaces and being waterproof is also a must have!

By far the best shoe I've own for hiking, running, and everyday use. Comfortable and amazing to wear here in the PNW. Would recommend!!!

This is the third pair of this shoe that I have purchased and I am delighted with the new improvements to the overall comfort of the shoe. I believe this is one of the best shoes I have ever owned for walking and hiking!!

Bought them few months ago and extremely happy them

I have been using Asics for years. They are comfortable but lacking in support. These are a superior balance of both comfort and support.

I wanted to put some time in these shoes before writing a review. Its taken me since March of 2020 to really wear them out and I'll definitely be ordering another pair. They fit very true to size and are a huge step up from their predecessors in terms of comfort and durability. They're a heavier trail shoe, which is not a bad thing. Salomon makes plenty of other models for gram counters. These things are built to last. It would be huge if other colors were offered. The gray/black/copper combo is cool, but it would also be cool to find these in more vibrant colors.
