I have been wearing XA Pros for over ten years. These shoes lasted about 6 months. I won't be buying them again. I've been wearing Salomons for between 10-15 years. I'm disappointed that what was once a premium, quality shoe wears through so quickly.

I have had 7 pairs of these shoes, every one awesome except the 2 sets (identical size and type) in the past month. Both had manufacturing defects which caused my heels to be rubbed raw. The first pair I returned the second pair I am about to send back in disbelief that quality must have so deteriorated at Salomons (during the pandemic?) Maybe buy in a shop so as you can try. Def do not take a ping on the internet or you will likely be returning them with sore heels. Don't buy, until Salomon get their QA sorted.

I have owned several pairs of these trainers in the past, but they are now poorly made and fall apart after a few months. Will be switching to another brand.

I have owned this pair of shoes for 1 year and the fit and performance have been excellent. The waterproofing keeps my feet dry. The lacing system, particularly the lowest lace point eyelet is broken on one shoe and will break on the other. This makes the shoes unwearable. I have been told no repair possible. These are not heavily used shoes.

At first I thought they were a great shoe after 6 months of light use the grip has gone and they have cracked and coming away from sole

This latest generation of shoes is the idea of mainstreaming a product that doesnt benefit from it. The XA Pro 3D looks more and more like spaceman boots, and strays again further away from the iconic look that made the shoes famous. Bring back the old design and colors already!!

Firstly, customer service is excellent! Xa pro V8 Gtx is terrible! Lived in GTX 3D ultras for years and absolutely loved them, strong, robust and comfortable. Then the V8 came along, what happened??? Soles wore out and started splitting in a few months after six months they went in the bin! Please can we go back to the 3D ultras!? Please!!!

This is my second pair, first lasted over 5 years, loved them, new pair less than 18 months old, not had much use and on both shoes the insides of the heels/ankles have worn away, making them unwearable as they now cause blisters. Have the newer versions improved or will I be wasting my money again if I buy a replacement pair or will your warranty cover this?!

Been using the XA Pro 3D for years and went through 6 pairs, but the newest version v8 is just terrible. Find them uncomfortable and the first pair of v8's had an eylet break in 2 weeks with a 2nd pair breaking an eyelet in 2 months. I will not be buying a third pair.

I purchased this shoes about 8 months ago and already the outer edges of the soles have completely worn away. They are not suitable for their defined use and the sole material is absolutely not durable as its states in the description. Tried to claim with the Salomon team , but they had rejected it on the basis that this is normal! I struggle to believe that this can be normal for a premium pair of shoes and something that I have never experienced with other brands. Avoid unless you want to be replacing them at your own cost every few months. Apart from this is they were very comfy!! For the first few months anyway.

This is my 4th pair of Salomons, I switched from Synase to this type. These shoes are sturdy, the back heal always go inside when you try to put the shoes on. After couple months of use, the back heel of one shoe appears to be broken and it is difficult to wear, it is very uncomfortable. Putting this shoe on is difficult. I am using a shoe horn to put his on. The shows are 10 months old Definitively, I do not recommend this show.

I bought this shoes since I love wearing salomon shoes. My shoes size is 9.5 and I bought the same size but this pair is too big for me.

J ai achete ces chaussures en pensant que salomon etait robuste et de bonne qualite. quelle deception..; Livraison sans probleme, premiere marche de 15 kms et toute la semelle du talon usee completement. 6 mois apres ce sont mes semelles des 2 chaussures qui se decollent...a deconseiller fortement.

I recently purchased these XA Pro 3D Gore-tex. These shoes are extremely uncomfortable. I've been a long time fan of these exact shoes by Salomon. Since 2008 I've purchased a new pair each year(some years it was 2). This shoe has caused blisters on my heels regardless of how tight I lace them up. The toe guard is very close to the tops(not ends) of my toes and do not feel comfortable even while hiking.

Credo proprio che questo sia l'ultimo paio di calzature Salomon che acquisto, non trovo pi la qualit costruttiva di qualche anno fa. Purtroppo si sta cominciando a pagare il marchio e non pi la qualit, le scarpe si stanno letteralmente facendo a pezzi mentre le porto, parti della soletta che si scollano, la soletta stessa che in pi punti si tagliata non so come. I materiali stessi della parte superiore della scarpa si stanno deteriorando molto velocemente e l'impermeabilit non so pi quanto sia ancora valida. Una lancia a favore di Salomon la spezzo sempre e comunque per il grip incredibile delle loro suole, di contro per bisogna essere consapevoli della durata della stessa, insomma si consuma velocemente nel tempo.

They rubbed my inner sole right away & caused a bump, because of the material change felt on the inside of the shoe. I did a 14er & bandaged up my feet to have no problems on a wet crazy hike, all good. This weekend I had pain after my hike behind my toes in the middle on both feet. Next days hike rubbed below my outer heal bone. Today where the cable goes below my big toes rubbed raw on both feet. What did y'all do to my favorite hiking shoe??? I feel betrayed or something, confused.

Bought these shoes about a month ago. After three weeks of wearing them Monday to Friday for 12 hours, a small hole has already begun to appear on the right shoe on the inside where the shoe creases. Lower quality than expected.
